  1. Can you post the version number? Can't help if I can't run it.
  2. I thought dinoki25 was that version: Arcade Database What version of Demul are you using? I tried to test but I don't see the Sega SP option in my version, 180428, and several others I tried.
  3. What emulator are you using. The current CHD from MAME starts fine with no errors. (Although it doesn't run it)
  4. Can you post the command you are using to start the game?
  5. Thanks for the update. Ultimately my cabinet will be using BB exclusively, once Sinden light guns come and all is set up. I guess on the positive side I can save the space from the non theme videos I won't need. ?
  6. No one can verify this option was removed?
  7. When you edit the game details, under emulation if you uncheck use an emulator to play this game, it should directly launch whatever you have set in the launching option. (In your case a bat file) I use Rocketlauncher now as well, but previously I used a batch file, but a generic one so every game didn't need a custom bat file. I keep my Daphne and Singe games in different folders. Obviously the paths have to match your locations and framefiles must be correct. @echo off if "%1"=="ace" set bank= -bank 0 00000011 -bank 1 00110001& goto :start if "%1"=="astron" set bank= -bank 0 00000000 -bank 1 00000000& goto :start if "%1"=="badlands" set bank= -bank 0 00000010 -bank 1 10000011& goto :start if "%1"=="bega" set bank= -bank 0 00000000 -bank 1 00000111& goto :start if "%1"=="cliff" set bank= -bank 0 00000000 -bank 1 01000000 -bank 2 00000000 -bank 3 01111011& goto :start if "%1"=="cobraab" set bank= -bank 0 00000000 -bank 1 01001000& goto :start if "%1"=="esh" set bank=& goto :start if "%1"=="galaxy" set bank= -bank 0 00000000 -bank 1 00000000& goto :start if "%1"=="gpworld" set bank=& goto :start if "%1"=="interstellar" set bank= -bank 0 00110001 -bank 1 00000000& goto :start if "%1"=="lair" set bank= -bank 0 11011001 -bank 1 00100111& goto :start if "%1"=="lair2" set bank=& goto :start if "%1"=="mach3" set bank= -bank 0 01000100& goto :start if "%1"=="roadblaster" set bank= -bank 0 00000000 -bank 1 00000001& goto :start if "%1"=="sdq" set bank= -bank 0 00100001 -bank 1 00000000& goto :start if "%1"=="tq" set bank=& goto :start if "%1"=="uvt" set bank= -bank 0 00000000& goto :start if "%1"=="firefox" set bank= -bank 0 00000000& goto :start if "%1"=="maddog" set "singefile=maddog_cdrom.singe" & goto :startsinge if "%1"=="maddog2" set "singefile=cdrom-maddog2.singe" & goto :startsinge if "%1"=="crimepatrol" set "singefile=cdrom-crimepatrol.singe" & goto :startsinge if "%1"=="drugwars" set "singefile=cdrom-drugwars.singe" & goto :startsinge if "%1"=="timetraveler-v2" set "singefile=dvd-timetraveler.singe" & goto :startsinge if "%1"=="timetraveler-v23d" set "singefile=dvd-timetraveler.singe" & goto :startsinge if "%1"=="lbh" set "singefile=cdrom-lbh.singe" & goto :startsinge if "%1"=="johnnyrock" set "singefile=cdrom-johnny.singe" & goto :startsinge exit /b :start daphne.exe %1 vldp -framefile E:\Daphne\framefile\%1.txt -blend -useoverlaysb 1 -blank_searches -precache -min_seek_delay 1000 -seek_frames_per_ms 20 -homedir . -fastboot%bank% -nocrc -noissues -noserversend -sound_buffer 2048 -fullscreen_window -x 1440 -y 1080 exit /b :startsinge cd daphne_singe daphne.exe singe vldp -x 1980 -y 1080 -fullscreen_window -noserversend -useoverlaysb 1 -framefile E:\Singe\singe\%1\%1.txt -script singe/%1/%singefile% exit /b
  8. Recently updated to version 11.6 from 11.2 and in Big Box (Unified Redux theme), using the video view, it's playing the video snaps, not theme videos as before. So I look in Big Box options and I don't see the option to prefer Theme Videos anymore. Was this removed? Looking in LaunchBox options I see there is now a video priorities section and Big Box does follow that, but having different settings between LB and BB is much better. Who wants a small theme video in LB's sidebar? Am I missing something here?
  9. If the bat file is in the same directory as the AHK, just the filename name is enough. If the bat file is in a different directory, you need the full path + filename. More Info
  10. No real updates, but didn’t really need any. Sounds like you didn’t have it set up right. If you every want to try again, help is available. Depending on your number of devices, which emulators you are using, and how you want it to work, might not even be needed. Since I have a cabinet I over engineer it and hide all extra devices when not needed even if not required. I don’t want any issues or problems from a future Windows update, or emulator upgrade that might screw up my cabinet from being config free for the users.
  11. Did you try installing it system wide? The instructions can be confusing if you don’t follow it exactly. It does work though and can help with make dealing with some input device issues easier.
  12. Yes you can use both. In Big Box, go to Options -> Controller and enable. and select allow all controllers. In the option Controller Mappings below, you can set the buttons on the XBOX 360 controller to the actions you want.
  13. Standalone for me too Simple reason for me is MAME with static IDs is easier to deal with my huge collection of input devices. Maybe it has become easier with Retroarch MAME than it used to be, but not worth trying if it doesn't add anything extra I don't already have with stand alone. Edit: Plus, it might be just because of the recent hacking and being behind, but Retroarch MAME is still on 0.222 if that matters for a recent improvement you might need.
  14. I think for exceptions the read-only on the game specific cfg file is easier, cleaner for me. I think most of my non-defaults are non Arcade titles anyways, plus I'm not a big fan of allowing controllers instead of my arcade controls for Arcade titles unless absolutely required. The important part is now realizing you can put key maps in the ctrlr file as well and they won't get erased. Thanks.
  15. That's great to know. Although I guess this will only help for games/systems you are using the default inputs for that device, but still helpful.
  16. JoeViking245, just curious if starting with the default.cfg key mappings in your ctlr file, prevents the erasing of removable devices issue or do you still need to rely on the read only work around? gwizdavid, wish all emulators worked like MAME, but they all don't (there are pluses and minus as to why), but you can check out devreorder for establishing device order for other emulators. I use it with a large collection of devices and it works very well with emulators including m2emulator, supermodel3, retroarch and more.
  17. Not if there's a regression and it's not just a setting. I know what you mean though and yes the current Mupen64-Plus core covers it all now. It's not a game I play (it's actually hidden), but I'll leave it to bujinkanrn if he wants to use the same core for everything.
  18. Both those RDP plugins lock up Retroarch once real game play starts. (For this game for me.) Edit: Both parallel plugin options set to the same values, but for whatever reason only works when using parallel-n64 core, not parallel plugin within Mupen64-Plus.
  19. Try the parallel-n64 core for that one. I didn't realize I had an override set to use that core. (I use Mupen64-Plus mostly). I've read that adjusting the RDP and RSP plugins can make Mupen64-Plus work as well, but no time to test to make sure. Stinks waiting through those cut scenes over and over.
  20. Having never played either on a real N64, they both seem to run using either Mupen64-Plus or Parallel N64 without any apparent graphic issues on my i3-7100 based setup. Obviously just a quick play of first level. The only minor issue I noticed was some sound crackling during initial cut scenes. (That could be my emulator settings or cpu power level, I don't know.) The Parallel-N64 was better in this regard. Game play sounds seemed OK. So no apparent game breaking issues, but best bet is to just fire it up and try on your system. Have fun.
  21. If you're using Retroarch it doesn't matter as it reorders controllers automatically, and MAME allows you to set up static IDs. If you are using standalone emulators, devreorder is a god send. I use it with a small AHK to swap ini files so only specific controllers are seen per emulator. With LB's ability to run additional apps before the emulator, just swap in the right ini file and no issues and can "fake" force static IDs.
  22. Sorry I was so vague, I tend to be less detailed when using the phone on forums. Retroarch directs all input to an abstract Retropad controller which is a cross between a SNES controller layout and a Dualshock controller layout. It has a D-Pad, two analog sticks, A, B, X, Y, left thumb, right thumb, Select and Start buttons, and left and right triggers. So any controllers you use, including your keyboard are mapped to that layout. By default, Retroarch has set up keyboard mapping that closely matches the default keyboard settings of the iPac Ultimate. So your 5 key is mapped to the Retropad Select button, and your 1 key is mapped to the Retropad Start button, etc. These mappings are saved in your Retroarch.cfg file and will initially be used by everything in Retropad. If you don't like how it's mapped, you can go into Retroarch settings, Input, and "Set All Controls" again to remap them as you like. Once you attach a controller, you can use the same "Set All Controls" in Retroarch to do the same thing for your XBOX 360 controller. This doesn't affect the keyboard settings. The key is to save that mapping. In the same Retroarch, Settings, Input menu, you will see a "Save Controller Profile". This will save that mapping and anytime you attach that controller it should apply it automatically. (I believe loading auto config profiles is enabled by default, but if not it's a simple ON/OFF option in Retroarch under the Settings, Input menu as well) Now, if you look under Online updater in Retroarch, you will see an "Update Controller Profiles". This will download input device mappings that have already been done by other people for common devices. One of them is for the XBOX 360 controller. I don't remember if Retroarch includes them on first install or if you have to download them, but they will be placed in the right spot and will automatically load as if you made your own like above. You only have to do one or the other. So at this point your input should be set for both keyboard and your controller whenever Retroarch is used. Almost all cores will automatically be setup to use the abstract Retropad layout properly. So for example,Atari 2600 Stella core, the D-Pad is direction, B button is fire. If you don't like the mapping, in game you can go to Settings, Input and change what each button does. So if you like to use Y button on the XBOX controller for fire, you would change the B button to nothing and set the Y button. After in that menu you can save a remap, either per core, per directory, or per game. Once saved this remap will be appended to your default mapping automatically. (per Core -> always with that core, per Directory -> any rom loaded from that directory, per Game -> just that rom.) Hope that helps. A couple things to look out for: The default Retropad layout follows the SNES layout, which is different from the XBOX 360 controller. So A & B, and X & Y are reversed by default. XBOX A -> Retropad B, XBOX B -> Retropad A. (Same for X & Y) You can change this but I would suggest leaving it as many cores documentation is set up by default for the Retropad layout which makes things easier to follow. Under Retroarch, Settings, Input you will see and "Analog to Digital type" setting. This will allow you to use the XBOX 360 analog stick in addition of a D-PAD. You DON'T have to map this, it will automatically do it when enabled. So for a core like Atari 2600 Stella, you could use the D-Pad or Analog stick as direction input. For any cores for consoles that had controllers with analog sticks, you don't want this enabled. I have the both iPac Ultimate and XBOX 360 controllers and it has worked great. Keeping the iPac Ultimate in keyboard mode (which it is by default) really makes things easy and allows both to be used at the same time. Here's the link to the Retroarch documentation on inputs as well.
  23. Yes you can. There is an auto config for the XBox 360 controller and it should map that joystick to the abstract Retropad layout automatically. Once you start the Stella core, you can change the inputs for each button. You can than save a core remap so it loads every time that core is used. I'm assuming your iPac is in keyboard mode, If so remember that remapping will also affect the keyboard (iPac) which is mapped to the abstract Retropad layout. There are ways around that by using a custom config with the core, but lets hope you don't need that.
  24. Searching using the filename didn't work for me, here is the link. Over at the Demulshooter web site, he has a simple AHK to launch hotd3 directly and avoid the launcher all together as well.
  25. I think my is called the translucent color. I can get those other colors OK, I just can't get a pure white. I guess it's a trade off depending on the material used.
