Yes, but you would have to jump into the code of that view and duplicate the trigger that is used for SNES to also work for Nintendo Game & Watch.

What format are your games in?

The first 12.16 beta is out now and the thread for it can be found here:

Hey everyone, We are looking to put out a bugfix/QOL update, hopefully next week. In that vein, we have the first beta out and would love help testing the following changes: Improvement: Big Box RAM usage over time has been significantly reduced Improvement: Image region prioritization has been improved in several ways, which should help to reduce any region mismatches Improvement: When first starting LaunchBox as a premium user, game and platform details videos will now be automatically enabled Improvement: Added logic to allow LaunchBox to more accurately identify an additional app as a version instead of an app Fixed: The related game context menu now says "Install" instead of "Play" when a game needs to be installed Fixed: Auto-played music is no longer stopped by loading up game details when the Auto-Play Video setting is off inside of LaunchBox Fixed: Playing music in LaunchBox now pauses video playback in game details Fixed: Auto-played music that was paused when leaving LaunchBox now resumes when you return Fixed: Sometimes backing into a platform view in Big Box would not reload the details and resume video playback Fixed: Big Box platform views were not always respecting the Use Random Game Video setting Fixed: Starting LaunchBox with the Games Missing Media sidebar filter would sometimes throw errors Fixed: The FlowVideo control (used by theme developers) wasn't respecting the Use Random Game Video setting in all circumstances Fixed: Platform categories were not always displaying game totals correctly inside of Big Box Fixed: Some changes made by plugins weren't being saved correctly Beta 2: Fixed: Possible crash with the LaunchBox context menu for GOG games with application paths that don't exist Fixed: The Change View popup in Big Box was sometimes playing the select sound twice when selecting a view Fixed: Videos will now play correctly in more themes when backing into Platform Views and Game Views

My hunch is that it's the Screen Transition. Enable all your transitions, but keep Screen Transition to something like fade and let me know if you still see it.

Yeah, you'll want to post your xaml file, as what's interesting is that you posted the wrong TextBlock earlier in this thread that would only display the date, and not the time, so there's probably another TextBlock in the xaml specifically to display time.

Which theme do you use?
-
You may want to comment on the file itself, so the creator will get notified and be able to look into it when he has time.

Auto installed retroarch launching in the background.

If you would like to find out which program on your computer may be pulling focus away, this seems to be a good program to do so: https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Window-Focus-Logger.shtml -
Yes. you've basically created a fork of this theme in the CTC. Maybe best to give your version a different name in the CTC and then publish it. Any new changes, you could download the new CTC files and see if there's anything you would like to update from them. CTC is pretty robust that you can copy and paste what you want and apply it to your theme. You could also do this in reverse and apply your changes to any new CTC files that come out for this theme.

All themes that are bundled with Big Box are designed to self-heal themselves. If you create a custom theme, by making a copy, you won't run into this issue. A user also has full control on which views they would like to see. If you go into Options > Views, you can set the default game list you would like to see. You could also create a keyboard or controller mapping to Switch View, and use that to switch views on the fly, while on a games view.

This is all true what @Retro808 posted. You could also just grab the SideBarView.xaml from the Default theme, and copy/paste it over the one in Default Plus.
-
You would have to remove that code from SideBarView.xaml
-
You would have to custom edit the theme and remove that code from PlatformFiltersDetailsView.xaml

Can you guys tell us which theme, or theme variation you are using, and whether you are coming from the Game Details page, or do you bypass that?
-
This theme was updated to 1.6, and fully supports the new features in 12.15, including Platform Details and the Manage Installations features. It also comes with some extra goodies, like a button to play your last played and most played game within the category, platform, or playlist you are in, along with a Play Random Game button that will instantly launch a playable game (it won't try and launch a Windows game you don't have installed, for example) within your given section. This can be downloaded here on the forums, or within the LaunchBox Themes Manager.
-
Are you guys seeing it freezing the app, or does it just never show results? Also, like Jason mentioned, if it's freezing, can either of you provide a log file for the time you got the app to freeze. It's found in the LaunchBox\Logs folder.

There's a field called Release Type that should separate Hacks from Releases, but I don't think you can filter by this. You can, however, sort by this field, so there's some sort of grouping that can be done within a game list. But if you are wanting Release Type to be added as a filter option, you may need to put in that as a request.

The current version of BannerBox doesn't come with any custom banners. only the older versions do. Instead, it just uses your own box images. It's possible you are still using an older version.
-
That's right, you'll need to be on the latest beta for this feature.
-
You most likely accidentally pressed the flip box button without realizing it.
-
It uses the Sort Title. Hold down on one of the platforms to bring up the platform menu, the select Edit Metadata. Then find Sort Title. Change them all to release year, and you'll get the sorting you want.

You may just need to refresh your image cache. Found under Options > Image Cache

The one thing I'll say on this is we have talked, and planned out, at length what we would want to do to revamp our ScummVM implementation to make it more self-sufficient, and it's on our long list of things to do. I can't promise when this will happen, but it's on the list.
