Hey guys! Dumb question, but I cannot figure it out. I want to use "Screen transition: Slide Horizontal", but it is sliding the opposite way of what I want (slides the content to the right instead of the left). Is there a way to choose where to slide? Thanks!

Launchbox, ParaJVE, AHS, and the loss of hair follicles

Maybe post this in that topic, somebody will surely give you a hand with it (I am not ahk knowledgeable enough ). -
Genial!

Transparent Arcade Cabinets > Calling an Army of Photoshoppers

I love vectorizing 2d images. 3d/real pics, not so much, as you cannot get gradients right and the overall image looks like clay/watered. -

Ok, just thought on these; use them if you feel they will add to the project: Do your best to eliminate jaggies and ensure all cuts are clean. Using the magic wand in low res images will most likely get you very rough cuts, so using either the pen tool or the polygonal lasso tool is the way to go. Images should be submitted as pngs with just the cabinet on an alpha layer w/o any background, shadow, glow, or extra information. Before uploading, check that the image name is identical to its parent rom name (case sensitive). Tip: after cutting your image, place it in both white bg and black bg; by doing this you will be able to check if there are unwanted pixels that you would not notice otherwise. -

Hey buddy, check the AHK Scripts topic; it has a lot of great stuff. Here is the xpadder post you will most likely use: -
Transparent Arcade Cabinets > Calling an Army of Photoshoppers

I like the idea. So, progettosnaps content/parents is what is taken into account. Something important, there needs to be guidelines on how to work each image, so a standard can be established (min. resolution, no magic wand to remove bg as the borders will get unwanted sharp/noise, etc.). What do you think? Sorry my OCD kicks in and kills all the fun XD. -
Hola Fernando. Fijate que hayas colocado el video en Videos/Platforms/ y que el archivo de video se llame exactamente igual (mayúsculas y minúsculas) a la plataforma.
-
It would be awesome if the videos worked the same way as the images. So, if I place Sega Genesis.mp4 and Sega Genesis-01.mp4 in the Videos/Platforms folder, Bigbox would play those two randomly everytime the wheel reaches that system.

Great idea @Mr. RetroLust. I am currently in the middle of a project (UHD NES carts) but as soon as I finish I am willing to give a hand here. The only full set of arcade pics I know is the one from progettosnaps, but they all have black or white bg, and most of the images are LQ-MQ. I think the best workflow might be to have a shared Google doc with restricted editing capabilities with all the mame parents listed so creators can tag themselves on the working ones and nobody overlaps. -
I did a search on all the resx files and did not find any other Configure typos, so it should be fine.

Found it in the MainForm one. Updated file attached (added the </li> in Strings plus corrected the typo in Configure). Language-es_8.4_new.zip

Thanks for the head's up Ninjaime. @Jason Carr do you know which file from the pack has that bind? So I can update and resend.

There are messy/3rd party ways to do it in win7 and win10. I have win8, so I cant XD

A lot of BigBox themes have a game text list view as well. Quick example of one of the views in Grilla's Fundamental theme:

Yeap. Anything you place in the Startup folder of Windows, will launch automatically on OS start. I have there shortcuts for Autohidemousecursor and Bigbox.
-
Hey! I ended up still launching explorer. Made a custom desktop bg, made the task bar invisible and removed all the icons and notificactions so nothing is seen besides the wallpaper. I run a program called autohidemousecursor and set the timer to zero so there is no mouse in screen unless moved. And thats it. Not the best approach, but I did not like the black screen while waiting for BB to open (and in my PC takes some time to do so).

Futurestate Neon Deluxe (Coming soon)
Kondorito replied to Mr. RetroLust's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
Looks great. Quick question; when the game logos wheel fades out to show the game details, the 3d box and front cart at the bottom are one custom image you made, or are they two separate ones? -

That room looks so sexy that I would even spend time there not playing anything! -
Very nice work. I really dig what you did with the user's guide.
