  1. You set the core right in the associated platforms tab in the cell labeled "core".
  2. Please do not start new threads for the same issue. I have merged these two threads.
  3. If when you import your roms and tell the import wizard to copy to the roms to theLaunchbox folder is that the folder MameUI has the rom path set for? I would recommend for Mame not moving the roms. Use the option to leave the roms where they are. What is the rom path you set in MameUI for your roms? For one of the games that do not work can your right click the game and share an image of the screen showing the rom folder path?
  4. No it is not a duplicate. It is a unique file. Look in your ini folder. It is likely there as that is where MameUI likes to put it. Well if you right click a game and the rom path is not the same as where you told MameUI the rom path is, then that is also another part of your issue. You need to make sure your games in LB are in the same path you told MameUI the roms are. You do not need to get new roms. If they work and you can fix the disconnect in LB then you are good. But if you use the full mame set import just know it is listing games in LB based off the latest mame.xml file of good running mame roms. So from .176 to now there may be some minor rom differences.
  5. No, that is the MameUI.ini. I said the Mame.ini. It is a completely different file. You need to have the Mame.ini in this folder. I see a game image for Hyper Street Fighter II Anniversary Edition right in your image. First image under the Street Fighter Series label. Did you have LB combine same game names into one rom? If you did right click the game and you should see the other version of each game. Also please keep in mind you are using old roms with the LB Mame Full Set importer which imports games based on the most current Mame rom set. It will work to some extent, but some games have changed over the years and your set is easily 4 years old. So it may miss some game and may also show games you actually do not have. Not a lot, but know it does happen when using such old sets.
  6. Hmmm. I will have to double check when I get to the house. There are a few TTX games I actually run in LB directly by the game.exe and do not even use TeknoParrot. I think Wacky Races may have been one I had issues with and tracked down a version that uses just the game.exe.
  7. If you are using Mame UI with Launchbox make sure your Mame.ini files is located in the root folder where the mame exe file is. So if you have it located in the ini folder like MameUI likes to put it you need to have it in the same folder as the main mame exe file.
  8. Not sure if this is the issue but my settings are pointing to a blank text document called WackyRaces.txt instead of pointing to the xml. So my game rom path is something like \Roms\TeknoParrot\WackyRaces.txt Also since you have the default command lines listed on the Associated Platforms tab you do not need it on the main details tab as well. Other than that your other settings look good.
  9. Take a look at Neil’s settings in this post.
  10. Is it possible this is just a continuation of your issue from this thread? Now that you changed game to use Retroarch did you select all the games in each platform and bulk edit them to now use Retroarch? Did you also select the correct cores for each platform and ensure that the platform names are showing in the Associated Platforms tab for Retroarch?
  11. Not sure why it will not work. That is similar to what I use (D4 and D2 "P2 Start" button). Have been using that combo for about 3 years now with BigBox.
  12. Jason explains why in this posts.
  13. Yeah, it does look like this is happening. Was able to replicate it on several machines with a game controller pause command. It does not seem to occur with keyboard pause though. I will tag @C-Beats

    PinBall

Please do not start multiple threads for the same thing. I have merged the threads. I even provided links to setting up a couple of pinball platforms in your original post.
  15. Not saying something like this would never be implemented but it is likely something that may not happen anytime soon as it is a pretty niche request. I think I have only seen a couple people ask for something like this. Additionally, since @y2guru theme creator tool now allows those without coding knowledge to create a theme of their own someone should be able to accomplish close to what you are asking within his tool.
  16. Check the box for Force Importing Duplicates when you add the Famicom rom versions. Since NES and Famicom are under one platform LB is likely not importing Mad City since it would technically be a duplicate of the Adv of Bayou Billy.
  17. That would be the issue then. Since the game itself if pointing to an old folder that is why you would get the error. The folder the game is linked to is where LB would look to find the game. Even though on the platform level you have the correct folder, on the game level you do not. You need to select all games and use the "Change Rom Path" option under LB tools to make sure all games are pointed to the correct folder. Just changing the rom folder when you edit the platform does not actually change it for all the games you have already imported. Adding a new game and a new platform would not affect existing games/platforms. Something else had to have happened. If you used the import wizard did you use the Add Folder or Add Files option.
  18. When you right clicked one of the games that gave you the error and edited it, did the game path show the correct rom file path? Did the games that gave you the error still run directly in the emulator (For NES and TG16 what emulator were you using)? Is this a local build or are you sharing data in some way with a cloud service/shared network for multiple machines? What steps are you taking to import the game files?
  19. I do not think that one is a trimode. They usually emphasize that in their system details. Not all non trimode versions had to have a ps2 to keyboard connected. There was an update to the pcb that did away with that before they made the trimode version. So when you go into keyboard mappings and try to map, lets say the Up command, it will not let you set it to the right player 2 up movement? Safe to assume if you open something like notepad and move the P2 controller it is registering letters?
  20. Do you have the tri-mode pcb version of the Tankstick? If so what mode do you have it in? Default mode is keyboard so checking use all controllers would not do anything for the Tankstick. That would only be needed if you are using Xinput or Dinput mode.
  21. BigBox does not have a 1 Player and 2 Player setting. It just maps keys or gamepad controls for functioning inside the BigBox UI. For the Xarcade if you are using the default setting it will be mapped in BigBox under the keyboard mappings and keyboard automation.
  22. Just put the folder name the roms are in not the full path. So just use for example Contains=Mame 2003 plus.
  23. Since you never changed the game folder path to the new location (under manage platforms it is still showing \Games\Super Nintendo Entertainment System location) for the platform setting, every time you delete that folder and then access the platform manage screen LB will detect the folder is missing and recreate it. You have to change to folder path in manage platforms if you want it to not create the folder.
  24. Not sure, tested on all 5 of my cabinets and it works as it should. Maybe a theme issue.
