Did you set your controller automation mapping in LaunchBox/BigBox to the button you want to close emulators? In BigBox it is the mapping for "Close Active Window". In LaunchBox it is "Exit Game". If you set the mapping it should work. I use the script below and can close Demul with button combo set for Joy8 + Joy9. What LB controller automation does is basically send Escape when you hit the button you mapped in it. $Esc:: { WinClose, ahk_exe demul.exe } If setting it up that still does not work you could try Joy11::Send {Alt Down}{F4}{Alt Up} I am not an AHK expert so probably a better way to script that. It was an AHK I saw in another thread that worked. You can do per game. Just right click the game and edit. In the Emulation tab choose the emulator you need. You can also select multiple games at once and it will bulk edit them. Cannot help on this as I do not run a screensaver on my cabinets. I use BigBox attract mode whenever they are running.

No worries. I have only tinkered with Tekno and Lightguns so no expert here. We try to be as helpful as we can though.

I would probably stick with the known working versions of TeknoParrot for DemulShooter. Even though TeknoParrot receives constant updates the dev of demulshooter may only do updates when there is a known TeknoParrot update to rail shooter games. I would check emuline forums though they are good source of info. If the wiki states Linderberg system games were tested with 1.0.0.287 I would use that version. Also what are you using as your lightgun?

If you only have the one platform you can set BigBox default startup view to All Games. This way BB opens right into the list of arcade games.

Are the rom files you are currenlty using .bin and .lst? If so ditch those. They are no longer worth using. The best way to play Atomiswave and Naomi is to use the rom files from mame rom set. Demul is simple to set up. If you download a full mame rom set all the zip and bios files you will need are in there. You would then only need to get the chd for some games. The Riecast core is now the Flycast core and that core works with the mame roms/bios files as well.

If a user takes direct issue with you, or anyone else for that matter, about a high score please let us know. We already had one such instance and it is uncalled for. Jason will likely remove the score since it is not valid anyway.

Make sure in the Associated platform you have the platform name if you imported the games under their own platform and the correct command line for each system.

That will definitely cause an issue. In the \Data\Platforms there should only ever be 1 file with a platform name in it. Even if you name it something like Sega Genesis_Backup.xaml LB will try to read it. So, if you create a backup file of a platform xml it is best to save it elsewhere.

In Demuls path setting point Demul to the folder where you have the roms and make sure you have the correct bios files. When you add those games to Launchbox you need to set up a separate Demul for arcade games. You cannot use the same set-up in Launchbox that runs Dreamcast. Reason is there are some different check boxes for the arcade games needed for Demul that Dreamcast does not need.

There is a way to make this work. LB allows you to set a default image for certain items like Cart-Front. This way if a platform is missing a cart front it will not need to use image priorities to fill the void but will use the default image. What you can do is put a note in your theme description that in order to get the cart image to look right/work right that the user turn off image priorities for Cart Front and ensure they have set a default image in LB for Cart - Front. That would keep the theme from then using the LB image priority fallbacks.

Image files must match either the game name as it appears in Launchbox or the rom name. That is the correct folder. The region folder are for region specific images. You can place it in the main folder and LB will read it. Or in the region specific folder if you have region priorities set.

Did you check the Video plugin setting within Demul. Maybe you changed it (I think there is only 2 settings DX11 and DX11old)? I did not see you mention if you checked that. Hikaru is running fine fullscreen on the few cabinets I have those games in.

lol. No worries. The devs are working to troubleshoot as much of the high score issues as they can. Any time you see any issues with scoring please post in our Mame high score troubleshooting thread. In Jason's first posts there are some steps he recommends.

CAn you share pics. 1: Manage emulators, edit stella, share a pic of the Details tab and a second pic of the Associated platforms tabs. 2: Right click a game using stella, choose edit, share a pic of that whole page with the launcher tab showing and a second pic with the Emulation tab showing.

If you play a game in stella without using Launchbox do your games work? If they do then you may have not added the platform name to the associated platforms tab in LaunchBox for Stella.

The theme is coming along beautifully and I could not agree with you more. Making BannerBox style banners would simply make this theme a variant of BannerBox. How clean this theme looks (not that BannerBox is bad by any means) is a nice change and how I would recommend keeping it.

Remove the settings.xml from the \Launchbox\data folder. It will reset some of your Launchbox view settings to default, but it should fix that view issue.

Probably might want to post in the official Mame high score troubleshooting thread. Also take a look at the first page for some steps Jason put out.

When is not known. It will likely not happen until the 2019 poll items are done being implemented.

They are possible if you know how to code, or at least know how to read what you are looking at in the code and make the necessary adjustments. It is not too difficult, but if it is not something you do not already know and probably do not feel like spending time learning you are in luck. One of resident users has built and keeps developing a theme creator program. Nice UI for easy theme building without any code knowledge.

Is this with a keyboard press or a game controller press (Does your bartop's controls replicate keyboard or gamepad)? Could you try setting the button you use to select to a different button and see if anything changes? If it is a bug the more we can do to upfront the better. Especially if Jason cannot replicate the issue.

In LaunchBox go to >Tools>Download Platform/Playlist Theme Videos. You can download a few options for those and other platforms you may need. You can also manually add your own. Place each video named after the platform in \Launchbox\Videos\Platforms folder.

In BigBox set it for the item listed as “Close Active Window”.
