When you say the images do not show up in LB what in particular is not showing up? Do you see at least box art for each game? If you do not have the details panel open look in the upper right side of the screen in LB and you will see "details" click that and a panel on the right will open. That panel shows additional artwork, metadata, and videos (if you have them turned on).

Yes. It should work as long as you have any of those versions and the correct neogeo.zip file. There is a Mame one and one for FBA. I do not know how you tell the difference I did notice the FBA one I have has more files in the zip than the Mame one.

Should be any version 1.4.0 and up. I am on current 1.6.9

In Retroarch to change MVS to AES simply launch a game and hit F1. The qo into quick menu and choose options. Scroll to see NeoGeo mode and change to AES. This only works is you ha e the right bios file if you have the Mame neogeo bios it will not work I think it have to be a bios for finalburn alpha

In BigBox just head to settings page then options. There you will find settings for Controller (use to select to have controller(s) work in BigBox), Controller Buttons (set your button maps), Controller Automation (set your options for thing like exiting an emulator), Keyboard Mappings (set keyboard maps). Similar in Launchbox go to Tools/Options. There you will find option to set controller buttons.

Many of those 36k roms are filtered out during import by Launchbox so long as you have the boxes checked. A lot of those roms are junk you probably do not want imported. If you do then uncheck the boxes in the import wizard.

Normal (free version) is the Launchbox frontend. Nice, clean front end to organize and access all your systems and games. Minimal customization to that front end. BigBox is the premium (paid) version. You still have access to Launchbox, but with BigBox you get an additional version that can be customized thanks to theme makers. Probably a simplistic way to describe them but that is the difference. As neil9000 mentioned no roms. Also please do not ask where to get them as it is not a practice this forum does. Google is your friend.

Exit All emulator with global key presses
Retro808 replied to Ludachris85's topic in Troubleshooting
Awesome. Glad its sorted and welcome to the forum. If you want change the duration to 1 for a quicker response. I like 2 seconds for when the young ones are playing the delay helps when they button mash. -
Exit All emulator with global key presses
Retro808 replied to Ludachris85's topic in Troubleshooting
Should work as pasted. It is a delayed response in the AHK so you have to hold the buttons for longer than 2 seconds. What emulator are you using for GBA? Emulators like Retroarch and Mame you can directly set the exit command in them and I would do that instead of using the AHK. Mame will let you hit two buttons at once to make an exit command and in Retroarch you set a hotkey and an action key. -
Exit All emulator with global key presses

I have the Tankstick and for the emulators that you can set internal exits with I use those. For those that do not I use the AHK I posted in this AHK thread. Just go to manage emulators and edit. Paste the code in the AHK tab and change the button numbers to the ones you want. I have mine set to right pinball bumper (4) and 2 player start (2) keys. My tankstick is set to Xarcade default layout. -
Hmmm, not sure then. I have never used that version before but I downloaded it after your post. In the video settings I check marked the box for "emulate fullscreen" and set the command line in Launchbox. It launches without the bar. I tried messing up some of the settings to see if I can get it to stick but I cannot. If you hit escape does it hide the bar? Looking at the default menu options escape is the default to hide menu bar.

In Launchbox into tools/manage emulators and edit your RASnes9x. Enter the below in the default command line parameter field. -fullscreen

Thanks for the tip @Lordmonkus on the new host.

You may have combined roms during import. There is an option during import to combine roms with matching titles. If this is what happened just right click a game with the consolidate roms and choose expand selected game to have it show as separate roms.

I think you can only map 1 key per function. Unless something changed in newer versions. It has been a while since I set my keys in BigBox. I do not remember how to set a key to none from within the BigBox settings, but you could always go into the BigBoxSettings.xml and find the function and set the key to "0" that will make it "None" when you launch BigBox again.

Same here. No issues and same command lines. Remove -g and Cemu launches but not the game.

Before startup videos loaded into VLC then once complete BigBox launched. Now BigBox launches and plays the startup video. We can hit a button at anytime and jump right into BigBox. So that should make it possible for ledblinkey to start since BigBox is actuallly started and is the one playing the video. Right? I am pretty much a layperson on things like this so that is only how I am interpreting what I read. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This is a learning experience for me. New Premium Feature: Big Box Startup videos have been overhauled to be run from within Big Box instead of launching VLC directly; videos will now automatically run for the full length of the video unless skipped with a key or button press

Do your other platform videos work? Is Sega Naomi set up as a platform or a playlist in your machine? I ask as Sega Naomi is one of the playlists LB will create if you choose to let LB do that when you import Mame Roms. Also what view in Cid's theme are you using. I think there are some views in his theme that will not play the platform video.

As shinra mentioned it would probably be beneficial to post on eatkinola's theme thread if you think the issue is related to a theme. Eatkinola has worked diligently to work out kinks in the Nostalgia theme and has welcomed the feedback. That same can be said of our other theme creators. Here is a quick link to the theme thread.

A couple more. I made these pretty much in similar style to the others I posted. If anyone is using these and has Riffman81's set if you prefer the ones I made more fullscreen art detail like Riff's let me know and I will redo mine. I am learning photoshop so that gives me more chances to practice the software.

I cannot help with that. I use Retroarch for the few N64 games I play. Hopefully one of the mods will chime in and help. In the meantime I will set up Project64 and see if I have any issues with Yoshi.

What emulator are you using for N64?

If you open Toobin in Mame and hit Tab it will open the settings for Mame then choose Input - This Machine (or it may say something similar) and that will allow you to set for only that game and not alter the general settings for controls of Mame.
