  1. In the Associated Platform tab for the emulator did you add the platform name? >Tools>Manage Emulators and edit your Mame. Check the Associated Platforms tab. Sharing pics of your edit emulator screen would help. (Pic of the main details tab and the Associated Platforms tab). Not sure why you have 3 Mame emulators, but since you do, you need to make sure the platform is listed in all of them in the Associated Platforms tab.
  2. LB has a randomizer. You can run it while in a platform or can just change LB view on the left pane to “All Games” then go >Tools>Select Random Game.
  3. When it shows 0 games imported that means it is already in LB. Check to see if you have any if the “Hide Games Missing” items checked in the LB settings. They are located under the “Views” menu in LB.
  4. Not sure what you mean “See the tabs”? The menu items you are showing in the pics have nothing to do with what you downloaded. That section simply is what shows when the theme creator uploads the theme so users can download it directly in bigBox UI. What shows in those pics is based on how much information was provided when the theme was uploaded.
  5. You can easily just rename the image files to match the name of your platform. Or add images and name them as you have your platforms named.
  6. LB is only a launcher frontend. It only offers controller support to move around within its own UI. Anything else is up to the emulator or game or by using a 3rd party software (like Steam’s controller support).
  7. If you are using Unified theme you may be missing images or have mis-named platforms. That theme does not come with all background and logo images. The theme creator made a bunch but not all anyone would need. Also, the images are named to more common platform names. So if you named your NES platform NES and not Nintendo Entertainment System it will not show the background and logo image. Those background image are a combination of files located in \Themes\Unified\Images\Theme\Background and also the Logo folder.
  8. There is nothing special needed in the emulator settings in LB. Edit Redream in LB and post a pic of the Details tab a pic of the Associated Platforms tab.
  9. Launch a game and hit Tab on your keyboard. Then map under the options for "Input (this machine)". Using Pole Position as an example you will bind your joystick under the "Dial Analog Inc" for turning right and "Dial Analog Dec" for turning left. Gas, brake, and shift are mapped to "Pedal 1 Analog Inc", "Pedal 2 Analog Inc", and "Gear Change" options.
  10. What theme did you install? In BigBox can you change to that theme and see it at all? A pic of your View settings page in BigBox would be helpful.
  11. Currently there is not option or steps to accomplish that. So for now it is just one video that will play.
  12. Increments would probably be best in this case. When you rescprape there should be some check boxes for it to now overwrite/replace existing media. I cannot remember accurately and I am not near my set-ups to double check. But there are some check boxes for this.
  13. @Greatestdadever2 I am merging your threads. You keep posting questions related to the same issue in several threads and even started two threads of the same issue. We are not overtly strict on our forum, but we do try to limit the same thing being posted in several threads and starting multiple threads for the same issue. So please limit this with your posts.
  14. Below is your exact quote...you did not say you "tried VPN as suggested" you did say "I did this"...Did what? You tried a year ago what the other user only discovered this year was his problem? The users fix was a Comcast modem setting. Not to try VPN. Like I said you did not provide anything you actually tried. If you would have just stated with more clarity and less attitude it would probably been more helpful. You are arguing and being rude about things when people are trying to help and being polite about it. Not once did I speak down to you or even speak negatively of you. I asked a simple question of you to confirm if you actually changed the modem setting change. So on your request I will lock this thread. It will not get deleted as it is useful information for all to see.
  15. I asked a simple question. I did not need any sarcastic response. I was polite in my responses trying to help. You did not say you did anything from the other post. All you simply said was "I appreciate the reply, but this cannot be the case as I mentioned,...". Nothing in your prior post said anything like "Thanks I did look at that and tried what they mentioned and it made no difference". Something like that would have been helpful. The user in that thread said VPN showed a speed difference it was a setting in his router that was causing the issue. I never said it is a known issue. I said "tried known steps". Did you check that setting he mentioned? Not sure why you have to have such a bad attitude to someone trying to help. So hopefully someone else is willing to try and help. I’m no longer willing.
  16. I do not mess with Mame software lists but there is a plugin that might be useful to you. Figured I would bring it to your attention.
  17. You can leave or delete them. I would leave since LB will see it already downloaded the files for those games and not download again. Yes, there is no background downloading for media. But at least you can import your systems and then one by one let them run overnight. Removing that rough match option should help a good bit. But you geographic location could also be an issue. We have seen some users in areas around the world have slower connection downloads that others. Not much we can do about that.
  18. Yes this works for those systems. You will be selecting the new folder the roms will reside in. So as long as what is inside the existing folder matches the new folder it will update each game. Yes, that is the only option from within the UI to update emulator paths.
  19. Did you actually check to see? The user in the post I linked knew for a fact it was not his connection....and how did that turn out? I am not saying it cannot possibly be a LB thing, but rarely do US residents suffer download issues from LB DB site that is not attributed to something on the users end. We have had Comcast reports and someone even had an issue with throttling from Tmobile internet. It helps on the LB end to know for sure the user tried known steps that helped other users. I would say if you are doing mass downloads uncheck the option for removing rough matches. This can make downloads slow since it compares each image.
  20. During import try unchecking the box for checking rough duplicates. This can slow down media a lot since it compares all those images to remove duplicates. This can make mass imports take way too long. There is no option for LB to download media in the background. You can import games without media by unchecking the media boxes during import and then later go back and download media.
  21. The reason may not be LB related. Your IP looks like you are in the US using Comcast. Perhaps this is the reason:
  22. Corrupt xml files typically happen from an abrupt LB close which can prevent LB from properly saving data it needs to.
  23. You can also just delete the settings.xml from the \Data folder and on startup of LB a new one will generate. You will have to reset from LB settings, but most of those are just visual items of LB and image priorities. None of the settings in there are for games and emulators.
  24. In your \Backups folder open one of the zipped backups and take the Settings.xml and use to replace the one located in your \Data folder.
