Atari 2600 RetroAchievements Support
By moudrost
This playlists contains 119 Atari 2600 games that work with RetroAchievements. Each game has the compatible version selected and all 119 have been opened in RetroArch to confirm it was recognized as having achievements. The set I used is based off the No-Intro 20221215-125422 DAT.
Even though Big Bird's Egg Catch and Cookie Monster Munch both show as compatible, I elected to remove those from the list. Both require a custom patch to be applied before it will work. Those patches can be found on the RetroAchievements website if you can't live without them.

Playstation 1 Retroachievements Playlist - xml - clear logo - video
By xevious1974
Hi guys,
this playlist has 506 titles for Playstation 1
They should be 507 but I am going mad if I find what I miss!
https://retroachievements.org/gameList.php?c=12
This playlist has been done by @TrailerVert, we teemed up. I have only rechecked all. I had some problem importing. You can read here:
if you have got same error report please.
You can find xml, clear logo (the same type that I have already used) and video (Used video from someone here to keep an Unified style)
I see that @moudrost is compiling other playlists. I am very happy with that. More people work on these lists and more we complete the actual database. And we'll make happy @Azgorath I suppose (you asked me for other playlists, right?)
I think that could be usefull not compiling the same playlist, so, Moudrost if you want to team up, we can save some time. And I can keep on going making logo and video if you need, Moudrost.
That's all for now
P.S. oh, I am just debating a little on the DB entry on Launchbox. I'd like having separated entry for the subset Roms. If you want to join up conversation...there are interesting things:

Nintendo Entertainment System RetroAchievements Support
By moudrost
This playlists contains 686 NES games that work with RetroAchievements. Each game has the compatible version selected and all 686 have been opened in RetroArch to confirm it was recognized as having achievements. The set I used is based off the No-Intro 20221215-125422 DAT.
There are a handful of missing games. Either all versions of the ROMs didn't trigger the achievement modal or the ROM wasn't present in the version of the No-Intro DAT indicated.

By xevious1974
Hi all friends!
I have created this playlist to make it easier when you want to play retroAchievements for arcade!
I have added 207 games MANUALLY!!! 🤣
You can find the original list here:
https://retroachievements.org/gameList.php?c=27
there are 211 games in total BUT:
-Street Fighter Alpha 3 | Street Fighter Zero 3 [Subset - Bonus]
-Tetris the Absolute: The Grand Master 2 Plus
Are in the parent games, so you have togheter the first rom.
And
~Hack~ Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Plus ---> it is not in the mame, I have not understand where I can find it. Also monkey ball bin is not in the mame but I have added the mame version (you have to change that)

Pink Paw Award (Windows Playlist)
By xevious1974
Hi all!
I was searching for some new playlists to create, today there are too many games, so I'd like to discover some little gems that I can miss.
I have found this one, by FitGirl. Yes, it is a little weird but he/she "handles" a lot of games, so, why dont try it?
In the playlist I have found 2 games that I liked a lot (Unpacking, I loved him, also my daughter) and I think that you can find some strange games here, that can be easily missed.
So, I have created a little intro video (just modified one found on youtube), a logo, and the xml. All the games are in our DB, 2 were missing but I have added them.
Tell me if there is a great game inside, so I can try it!
I hoped the Twelve was inside, I loved that game. But I am preparing my personal 100 top games and I have inserted it. I know that you all dont sleep tonight waiting for my top 100!! 🤣
Anyway, I hope you can enjoy it.
Love

Nintendo Game Boy 2 Player Logo
By UKPenguins
Using the "tbgdual" core in RetroArch, you can show 2 Game Boy's - aka have 2 player link cable games showing on 1 screen.
So here are 2 logos I made for this.
One for Gameboy and the other for Gameboy Color
Both are transparent and in PNG format

All Killer/No Filler - ini to create your own All Killer playlists
By JaysArcade
*Disclaimer - This ini file is to be used with JoeViking245's Create Playlists from MAME category ini files plugin (link to that below).
Have your cake and eat it too! The All Killer/No Filler lists found on BYOAC, and more recently adopted by our own @Lordmonkus on the LB forum are really nice lists, but they were never intended for collections that have full rom sets. I mean the whole idea of All Killer/No Filler is to pair down your collection to have only the best games. This ini file will let you create All Killer/No Filler Playlists from your existing full MAME rom set. When finished importing, you can browse your paired down playlists of only the best, or switch over to the full set whenever you like.
The included ini file was tested with MAME 0.234 and Launchbox 11.15 and includes the following categories so you can create your own Playlists.
[All Killer No Filler - Horizontal Classics] [All Killer No Filler - Vertical Classics] [All Killer No Filler - Beat 'Em Up/Hack 'N Slash] [All Killer No Filler - Platformers] [All Killer No Filler - Puzzle] [All Killer No Filler - Run 'N Gun] [All Killer No Filler - Horizontal Shmups] [All Killer No Filler - Vertical Shmups] [All Killer No Filler - Sports] [All Killer No Filler - Vs. Fighting] [All Killer No Filler - Combined] [All Killer No Filler - The Monkus List] - An alternative and smaller list than the combined list. [Spinner Games] [Spinner Racing Games] [Trackball Games] [Lightgun Games] [Vertical Arcade Extended List] - All vertically oriented games. As you can see, I've included a few non All Killer lists as well for cab enthusiasts.
Some of the lists have glaring omissions such as no Contra (Super Contra is present though) or Primal Rage. I believe these may be imperfect games or there is some other reason Launchbox doesn't import them. I removed these games from the lists.
For simplicity's sake, I also removed any instances of alternate ROMs used for different player layouts. For example, only one instance of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is in the lists, no 2 player version is included since Launchbox does not show these by default when the Import Clones as additional versions (Recommended) radio button is selected during the MAME ROM import process.
Future versions of MAME or Launchbox may not play friendly with the naming of some of the ROMs in the lists and they might not import, but as of MAME 0.234, all games in each list should import without error. This was tested with a MAME 0.234 merged set as well as a MAME 0.234 non-merged set. I assume a split set should be fine as well.
For what it's worth, I know Launchbox creates pretty good Playlists already. The All Killer lists have been curated over the years by enthusiasts that want only the best games. These have always been my favorite sets of ROMs and I wanted to share a different way to use them with the community. Could I have just shared the Playlist xmls? Sure. This was more fun though.
In order to use the ini file you must install JoeViking245's Create Playlists from MAME category ini files plugin found at the link below. Instructions on it's use can also be found there. The All Killer.ini file should be placed in the ../MAME/ini/folders/ folder wherever you have your MAME installed.
Special thanks to @JoeViking245 for his amazing plugin.

The Best?!?
By Mr.Laor
A collection of playlists and clear logos for the top games from a a large number of consoles, computers, and handhelds. Most folders contain a Gold, silver, bronze, and best playlist (which combines the bronze, silver, and gold)
Below you will find links to all the spreadsheets for the sources I used to compile the data. REMINDER: These are not in order of “Best” these are in order of mentions based upon aggregating a number of “Best of” lists. In some cases, smaller lists, or higher ranked games were given greater weight to arrive at a more balanced list.
I have omitted some systems - either because there weren’t enough quality games released, games are still being released, or I don’t have them in my Launchbox set-up (yet).
These took me a long time to compile. I hope they are helpful.

Angry Video Game Nerd - AVGN Playlist
By buxilaks
Collect all the Angry Video Game Nerd games
This playlist includes games up until the June 5th 2019 episode called: Superman 64 Returns!! (N64) - Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN)
Place the file in this folder
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME HERE]\LaunchBox\Data\Playlists
CLEAR LOGO:
(Disclaimer, this has 342 of the retro games James Rolfe has played in his main AVGN series - that's MOST of the games, but not every game he has ever played.
If your collection includes obscure systems like CD32 and CDTV, and newer games for PS2 and Xbox 360, you will have to add the games manually.
A few PS1 and GameCube games are missing, examples are Charlies Angels and Planet of The Apes.
Other than that, you should be off to a good start.)

PLAYLISTS for many Platforms
By Robin55
From my experience LaunchBox does not mind Playlists being added that contain game names that are not in your library, It will simply ignore games that are in the XML but are not contained in you library. This seems to also apply to Arcade Games Added as MAME games, LaunchBox simply reads the Launchbox Database ID number of the game in the XML and automatically knows where the game belongs. If you find Bigbox runs slow after adding these playlists it is probably due to having a much smaller library than is contained in the XMLs Simply open launchBox and edit the playlist select the "games" tab and scroll to the bottom and there will be a list of missing games, simply delete these, holding down the delete key and restart LaunchBox.
UPDATE: Added RUN & GUN Genre Playlist for all systems. Also tidied up some of the other playlists.
UPDATE: MOTOR games added this has the same contents as the DRIVING games xml.
I have full Hyperlist collections of games for a lot of Consoles and Handhelds and I have made "Genre Playlists" for EVERY single game in my library with one XML playlist for each Genre. The systems Included are: - Arcade/Mame from 1987 to present.
- Sony PlayStation 2, Sony PlayStation 1, Sony PlayStation Portable, Sony PlayStation Portable Minis,
- Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Super Famicom, Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo Disk System, Nintendo Famicom, Nintendo DS, Nintendo GameBoy Advance, Nintendo GameBoy Color, Nintendo GameBoy.
- Sega Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, Sega Mega Drive (Europe), Sega Mega Drive (Japan), Sega Genesis (USA), Sega CD (USA), Sega Mega CD (Europe), Sega 32X, Sega Master System, Sega Mark III, Sega SG-1000, Sega Game Gear.
- Atari Jaguar, Atari 7800, Atari Lynx
- NEC Turbo Grafx, NEC Turbo Grafx CD, NEC PC-FX
- SNK Neo Geo AES, SNK NEO GEO CD, SNK Neo Geo Pocket
- Commodore Amiga CD32
- Panasonic 3DO
- Amstrad GX 4000
-Bandai Wonderswan, Bandai Wonderswan Color I have also made "Intro Videos" for each Genre. They can be downloaded here along with the logos: I have split the full collections of these games into the following "Genre Playlists": - Fighting Games
- Shoot Em' Ups
- Light Gun Games
- Beat Em' Ups
- Run & Gun Games
- Shooter Games
- Sports Games
- Racing Games/Motor games
- Rhythm Games
- Horror Games
- Flying Games
- Platform Games
- Puzzle Games
- Role Playing Games
- Strategy Games
- All Games
- Board Games & Card Games I am very strict on what game goes into what category, for example wrestling and boxing games I put into the Sports category instead of the Fighters category. Horror is just there for fun, It only contains some games that I like so only add if that category interests you. I know their might be the odd mistake here and there but organizing all these games took a lllllllong time so the odd mistake was bound to happen either way its a good starting point.
Anyway to anyone who finds these useful, enjoy! If you find my work of use could you please consider donating to my Patreon found here: https://www.patreon.com/RobinLevingstone9,692 downloads

Years
By garbanzo
Here are playlists for every year between 1971 and 2019. They are auto-populated, so just import them and they're ready to use.
I recommend sorting them into categories by decade as seen in the screenshot. That way you can select the 1990s category and see all games from the 1990s, or select a single year and see games for just that year.
