BigBox Particles
Not nearly as fancy as some of the other startup videos on here, but I have been trying to get back into 3D animation and recently came across a video about dynamic objects creating text and thought i'd try it out by throwing this together. Hopefully someone out there may like it.
The music is part of one of my own songs. I'm personally not feeling that it fits for this purpose but I couldn't find anything I liked better at the moment to suit the Big Box feel. If you have any suggestions, I'd be happy to swap out the audio and render it again.
Modeled, shaded, and rendered to still PNG images in Cinema 4D. (6 hours and 31 minutes to render a 15 second animation.. lol) Imported PNG stills into Vegas Pro, added music and a light motion blur, then rendered back down to a 1080p video.

But we are far from covering any game system!
If the community doesnt take over the creation, 2 choices: the project stops /or/ I finish it.
Problem, creating these videos takes a loooooot of time. And I have to deal with a full-time CGI artist job and 2 young kids.
So I opened a Patreon page that could allow me to dedicate days on my work time to continue creating video.
I'm not trying to get rich, but like everyone else, I cant spend 1 day/week working for free! I hope you understand.

startup video Gamecube Style Startup Video For Bigbox

I wanted to see if I could create a startup video in the same style as the Nintendo GameCube intro and here's what I came up with. It's 60 seconds long, but the main animation is only around 6 seconds, which makes the rest of the animation a loading screen.
I also made another version of this startup with a remixed GameCube intro song so depending on your preference you might want this one or the remixed one. I don't want to spam the forum with essentially the same video so I included the link to the second version of this startup in the description box of this video if you want to see it.
Edit: Added a 4:3 aspect ratio version.

Tycho's BigBox DOS Intro

I just spent about two weeks adding my old DOS games to my BigBox build, including creating individual dosbox.conf files for each game, keybinding changes for modern gamepad support, and Roland MT-32 emulation for all my favorites (Sierra adventure games represent!) and I figured I'd make a special startup video that focuses on DOS games. BigBox 3D Clean Logo Startup Video. Once Downloaded, rename file to startup.mp4. Place file in the root of your LaunchBox\Videos directory. Go into Bigbox options, select General, tick "Show Startup Splash Screen". For this video, select "Minimum Startup Video Duration: 15 Seconds. You may have to adjust the time to your liking.
EDIT: Had to adjust to 15 seconds for this 18 second video to make the end of the video seamlessly launch with BigBox.

Big Box "Loading" Startup Videos
Made a bunch of these "Loading" Screens for my Big Box setup so I figured I would share em! Put whatever you want in the startup folder and it will pick a random one.
All use different battle backgrounds from Earthbound and a different song, all ending with the Super Smash Bros into countdown.
Here's an example, download whatever you want and use the ones you like!
