theme COLORFUL bigbox theme 2.03

@vikingReally love the theme, HOPE the Creator or someone skilled can help answer a question

Im using the DARK version and when using Vertical view 1 or 2 while scrolling through games there is a HUGE EMPTY SPACE, I was wondering if i can replace the empty space with the default console/arcade/handheld png,

 

Ive done some editing myself to adjust but cant get the Hardware set images to load (here is the empty space)

and replace that empty space with the pictures from hardware set folder

So replace FULL SCREEN WHITE with the hardware set images, I noticed it was designed to show folder only if platform name matches exact image so i dont know if its posible to do it the way its been created (if u need to redesign the code to make it work then dont worry)

If you want to be great, you could upload a more complete/current version of the Theme Creator files, it seems to be a much earlier WIP.

I am not able to get the device PNG images to display before transitions to videos for all custom playlists and categories,  basically for all the ones that don't have a colour attributed in the theme files and default to the green box (where it shows number of players , year etc either for games or Platforms). Is it expected?

When I enter the genre or series menu (two views I use a lot) I am greeted by an empty screen showing only the number of games in the first genre in my list, but with no genre title or art or...well anything. its a blank page with just the number of games in the first genre listing. If I navigate up or down then the genre list appears and this is the view I wish it to default to. Is there anyway to make this change? Is there anyway in general to make it so the first entry in a list does not auto play, for lack of a better term?

Would it be possible to add new CTC files to the original post?  

CTC 3.2 crashes when you try and view the wheelsgamesview with these older 2.3 versions.

Fixed by putting the device images in the theme image folders.

Yes, and not only for Genesis. I tried updating the theme but no luck. With some platforms, the difference in color is small and hard to see, but with some platforms it's pretty obvious (Taito Type X, PS4, BBC Micro, NEC Turbografx, to name a couple). I guess you can't change the colors in Options but would have to go into the theme itself.

OK I found a way to change the color on the left:

 

1) Go to your Launchbox folder.

2) Navigate to the /Themes/COLORFUL [...]/Views subfolder.

3) Open the file "PlatformWheel2FiltersView.xaml" with Notepad.

4) Press Ctrl-F and search for "Genesis"

5) The line below should start with "<Setter Property", and there will be a hex value. Not sure what this is in your case because I have already changed it. The color code under "Value" that worked for me is #b72c2f. Change the value to this and then save the file.

6) You should be good to go. If you are already running Big Box you need to restart it for the change to take effect.
