    mame file

Hi slashguns04. This game is a bootleg clone of Konami's Green Beret. Your rom version, like mine, is for Mame 176. You should grab a version of the game for use with Mame 177. When I audit this rom in Mame 177 I get the following.
  2. I've just tried this out and both the Platform Details+Notes and the Games Notes scroll ok. I like the way they fast scroll back and repeat once the end is reached. Many thanks to Jason and silvusvalentine for this feature.
  3. Hi folks. There's a similar thread (Runtime Error for over 24 hrs. now) posted in the LaunchBox Games Database, Troubleshooting sub-forum which Jason is responding to.
  4. Hi Jason. I just checked the platform where I had duplicate removal issues and they're all gone. Many thanks.
  5. Hi GamingOldGuy. Additional Apps is a very powerful feature. It's setup in LaunchBox and is then automatically available in BigBox. I use it to auto-start and auto-close XPadder game profiles, to run pre-release and trained versions of games, to play multi-disc games, to access on-line game maps., to display ProgettoEmma information for Arcade games and much more. If you havn't used it then you really should check it out.
  6. It very well may be that this issue is not too obvious when variegated (fanart, screenshot etc.) or moving (video) backgrounds are used, but it stands out against a non-white, reasonably uniform background and the darker the background the more noticeable it becomes. It's not a huge issue but it's very unsightly.
  7. I'm having the same issue. I was actually seeing it in the betas as well. When I start BigBox all looks fine. The problem appears after scrolling the platforms. Attached image 1 is at BigBox startup. Attached images 2 and 3 are after scrolling through the platforms.
  8. Hi Jason. I'm still having this issue. Some games that were approved for deletion have actually been removed from the database, but others are still in there after being moderated and accepted for removal.
  9. Not at the moment. It was requested ages ago and Jason has it in mind. There may be a ticket up on BitBucket for it that you could vote on.
  10. Hi Mute64 I'm also on Version 6.7 official and this feature is working fine for me using the keyboard for BigBox navigation.
  11. Hi nemesys. I'm not too sure, but it looks like you are showing game titles. Open LaunchBox (not BigBox) and select Tools, Options, Screenshot Priorities. Select Screenshot - Gameplay and move it up to the top of the list and save. Now open BigBox and you should see your gameplay images, providing you have them.
  12. Seems I misunderstood you due to it being in the Image Thread. You're right, the LaunchBox gamesDB has no Neo Geo CD section. You could make a Missing Platform topic in the Contributions.
  13. Hi retrosky. Here's a simple one in my attached image to tide you over until you find a nicer one. You might also check out Zombeavers Platform Banners. He does real cool stuff and I's sure he'd oblige if he already hasn't one for the NeoGeoCD
  14. Hi Jason. I just discovered that the fields in LaunchBox (desktop mode) List View can now be moved about. However, if I switch to Image View and then return to List View, the fields are reset to their default order. The same applies if I exit and restart LaunchBox. I can't find a way to save the sorted fields.
  15. My apologies Jason. I've just had 2 games accepted and they are now in the Database with all images intact. Many thanks for fixing this issue.
  16. Hi Jason. I just checked my Changes Status in the Database and all metadata (Name, Platform, ReleaseYear etc.) for the rejected submissions has been reset to 0 with the fields all marked as Pending. However all associated images (Box Fronts, Screenshots etc) are still marked as Rejected.
  17. I seem to be in the same boat. After having over 260 games accepted I suddenly have 9 games in a row being rejected. I take my submissions very seriously, often spending hours making sure I've got everything correct before uploading a submission. Yes, it can sometimes take a lot of research when dealing with games from the 8-bit era. Now, while I'm not here to complain about my rejections, I do think that the reason given is vague. The information just shows that posted in my attached image.
  18. Hi djwar. A Beta release is a version of LaunchBox that is made available for testing by users before its official release. At the moment LaunchBox is at Version 6.4-Beta-2. When all the 6.4 Betas are done, then the official Version 6.4 will be released. You can set LaunchBox to notify you when a new Beta version is available for download by selecting (from within LaunchBox, not BigBox) Tools, Options, Updates and ticking the Update To Beta Releases box. Then, whenever you start LaunchBox or BigBox, if a new Beta release is available you will be given the option to download it. To delete the actual game from your computer when you remove it from LaunchBox just go to Tools, Options and tick the box on the main screen.
  19. Just updated to the official 6.3. and it downloaded and installed just fine.
  20. Hi Kirsten. Welcome to the forums and all the best with your role with the LaunchBox Team. I was about to suggest that you might take some of the pressure off of Jason and Brad, but those two work horses seem to thrive on it.
  21. Hi angelo. Also bear in mind that Daphne is an emulator not a platform proper like Playstation, Arcade, N64 etc. You might try looking in the Arcade platform. I've seen laserdisc games like Space Ace, Cliff Hanger, Dragon's Lair and Astron Belt in there, so there might be many more also.
  22. My top five in no special order. Doom Legacy of Kain Quake Repton Tomb Raider
  23. I uploaded 2 new game submissions for the Enterprise platform on June 6th. Both currently have 33 Approvals and 0 Rejections and are still marked as Pending. Is this a record?. I think the issue may lie with the MaxPlayers field where I entered a combination of numbers and letters. Won't do that again!
  24. Hi Expello. To add the Developer, click the game in the Database, scroll down to the Developers field and click the blue pencil like icon that appears on the right. Now sign in and edit. Deletion of duplicate entries is not yet possible.
