  1. yeah the best way to do that for multi file games is to place the roms in the LB games folder in its appropriately named folder. Then open file explorer in Windows and navigate to the folder you want to import from the type in the file extension you want *".cue" and it will list only your cue files then you drag and drop all of the .cues on to LB and it will start the import wizard. It really doesn't get any easier than that.
  2. There is 1 maybe 2 portrait themes available in BigBox so if you have been watching any videos and seeing how BB looks most of the themes you might have seen aren't going to look like that on your monitor in that screen orientation.
  3. If your folders are all there then your data is still all there can you copy and paste the error message you are getting as it can help us figure out what is going on.
  4. you can use ctrl+left click to choose multiple games and then go to tools and there are options to import media but there is a good chance that if it didn't find it on the initial bulk import it may not find it again in a bulk edit but it might be worth trying.
  5. only uncheck background updates if you don't want it to download the updates in the background though. Having it on allows you to use LB until the update is done downloading turning it off will prompt you to download the new version on startup and the program is unusable until it is done updating its totally a user specific preference.
  6. Your metadata as far as I know can't be reused in LB your media is a different story though you can do it in a few different ways the easiest way would probably be to cut and paste it out of its existing folder structure and into the LB folders for the appropriate media also you could always go to edit platform in LB and manually change the folder where the media is in LB to where you already have it stored on your drive but you have to do each platform and its specific folder type individually and it can be tedious to do it that way.
  7. I don't use ScummVM myself but I believe the updated version in LB will include new games in the drop down that have been added to ScummVM but I'm not 100% positive on that
  8. they are in the link a few post up he doesn't host his videos here anymore has his own site for them
  9. I've had similar issues lately in Firefox where is shows torrents from days ago on TPB until I clear the cache don't know why some sites have that issue and others don't.
  10. Are you on the latest beta Jason just released one in the last few days that contain the updated version of ScummVM
  11. You can remove them from the platforms but then you can't have them in the platform categories that is maybe something @Jason Carrwould be willing to consider as that would probably be convenient to users who switch between platforms and platform categories.
  12. I've recently had 3 out of 4 4TB WD externals fail in less than 2 years so basically all drives can have problems regardless of the manufacturer
  13. no you can load regualar roms for systems in MAME as long as the coleco bios files are in with your MAME ROMs in LB you do have to make sure that don't use quotes and use file names are not checked in your MAME emulator settings in LB or it won't work.
  14. hmm I don't remember I haven't used it in a while I would suggest swapping it out for MAME the command line you need for the Associated Platform in MAME is coleco -cart
  15. try pointing LB to the rom that you can successfully launch and see if that changes anything
  16. I have to adjust mine all the time so its normal.
  17. I went to bed. To check you bios files load the core in RA's UI and then go to Information then core information and it will tell you if you have the proper bios files present.
  18. your exe for RA is in your AppData folder? Don't know if that will effect anything but a very strange place to setup a program from.
  19. Yeah basically until Jason updated whatever he did to get MAME to work originally then it will only import working games up until that point there are no dat files that LB uses that will change that for you.
  20. yeah if something doesn't work in LB your 1st troubleshooting step should be to get it to run in the emulator without LB this helps narrow down what your problems may be
  21. can you get the games to work directly from RetroArch without LB?
  22. did you go to tools manage emulators and edit the RetroArch entry to use the mednefen core under the associated platform I believe by default LB uses the Yabause core.
  23. do you know the script it uses in RL if so post a copy of it here so I can see if I can figure anything out from it.
  24. yeah that's cool I'm interested in seeing if you can get it to work so let us know if you make any head way
  25. Is your Neo Geo platform named snk neo geo aes just like it says in your associated platform the name your using in LB has to match 100%
