I don't know much about playing old PC games but if they are 16 bit games or from dos dos3.1 or windows 95 you will probably need to use DOSBox. Hopefully someone who knows more than I on the subject will be able to come along and help you out with it.

I just drug the details half way across LB hit ctrl+x and restarted and it seems to be saving for me

Don't know much about either but Pippin is listed as non working in MAME to check open MAME without a game and go to manufacturer and look for the manufacturer of the system for Pippin its Apple Bandi

The issue is with Windows and xinput not sure on specific post but there are a bunch of them on the forums some with detailed solutions that involve some technical stuff maybe search for them or maybe someone will chime in and explain it to you.

go to your video settings and change aspect ratio from core provided to 16:9 if you want no black bars.

you can definitely get rid of any dupes regardless of the file extensions.

This probably is the issue I suggest that if you have 20TB keep a backup of your LB/BB then you can't lose your work unless you lose both drives at once.

I don't know anything about 360 emulation but if you are importing Wii games what is the file extension for them.

The program is only setup to parse the arcade section of MAMEs naming so it doesn't recognize software list titles. I've asked that they be added but it hasn't been implemented as of yet. You can use MAME as the emulator for those systems but you will have trouble getting results if you are using the software list naming. I use MAME for a few systems myself you just need to use regularly named roms to get the correct metadata do as Lordmonkus suggested and import with another emulator and then switch the emulator to MAME.

In BigBox you either press left or up depending on whether you are scrolling in a horizontal or vertical orientated view this will pull up all the letters and you then scroll to the letter you want.

As of the latest beta this feature has now been added.

yeah if you external is using USB 3.0 it should be fast enough to do anything.
