  1. I'm not sure how much more edibility we can add to LaunchBox it already taste great.
  2. They are the zeroDelay encoders and no they will not work with LEDBlinky.
  3. I have 10 buttons each for each encoder but 6 are face buttons two are start and coin and 2 are on the front panel and do various control things when combines with start and coin. They sell them in 10 buttons sets or at least the one I got did.
  4. if you look at the error it tells you what line of the xml is corrupt I've used that info in the past to manually edit my xml files and fix them don't know how messed up yours is but that is always an option.
  5. yeah for some emulators that script doesn't close the emu cleanly and settings don't get saved.
  6. That is strange I had to do so with my Model 2 games in the past but the settings have always stuck for me so I don't know what would be preventing it from saving. Are you using LB controller automation to exit the game?
  7. If your secondary platform you made ie Super Nintendo Entertainment System2 doesn't have any games added to it then it won't appear in the list. When that SF game shows up in search right click it and edit what platform is it listed as there in the edit window
  8. To be honest I don't think this is covered as of yet but some logic to handle updating platform metadata shouldn't be to hard to add and really should be included.
  9. If you are already getting controller for the earlier gen games and don't need the dpad I would suggest getting the 360 controller for PC in my experience it plays with Windows (10 at least) better than the Xbox One controller. I don't really have any experience using the sony pads on a PC so can't say as to their performance I believe they require 3rd party software to get going.
  10. Yeah that would definitely solved the issue your describing and would also be useful for regions like you mentioned above.
  11. the .cue is basically a text file so if you rename the other files you will have to edit the cue so that the text inside matches the new names you gave them.
  12. Simply when you are running LB as admin Windows Explorer doesn't have permissions to add games to it. It has been mentioned by Jason before that it isn't recommended to run the program as admin.
  13. Okay then that should be fine then I just wanted to make sure it wasn't in either of your program files folders on C
  14. yeah it said that there were no updates because that build stop getting updates in July
  15. First and formost welcome to the community. Second please don't make multiple threads for the same topic. LB is only launching your emulator from a shortcut basically so not sure why it wouldn't be using your cfg settings in MAME do you have more than one version of MAME on your PC and LB is pointing to a different on perhaps?
  16. I suggest that you keep Windows up to date and yes that can occasionally break things but as you see not updating can break things also.
  17. where did you install LB to on your HDD.
  18. This may be why there are no updates showing https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4035050/windows-10-version-1511-will-no-longer-receive-security-updates
  19. you might be better off doing a clean install at this point. Or at least if FCU refuses to install also
  20. yeah creators update is 1703 which I just realized are the month and the year of the build.
  21. clck win+r and type winver what is the version number
  22. Its probably because his PC isn't up to date your getting FCU now did you skip CU in April?
  23. If your Windows 10 was up to date you would already have 4.7 (for months now) without LB trying to install it
