It pretty much should be simple I don't know about the tools you would need to make the files from the list but if they are around it would be that simple. When you import it will ask for an emulator you can simple assign a text file for that too if you want instead of downloading real emulators.

The answer is yes if you use RA there are stand alone emulators that work with LB also and then you would only have 2 layers the things is though once you have it all set up in LB and configured in RA you never have to see the RAUI again if you don't want or at least only on rare occasions mostly everything like creating and loading save states can be setup using hotkeys in RA for either your keyboard or for your controller.

just know that if you use CLRMAMEPro but you don't update monthly you will need all of the update packs to rebuild correctly so for example if you have 0.186 now and you decide to wait to update until MAME 0.196 you will need to all of the sub sequential update packs that or just get a new full set.

This month I did something new I went to PD and started the torrent for 186-187 update pack and got the list of files in my torrent client before starting the torrent then I went back to PD and did the same for the full split set when the full set came up and finally calmed down (BitTorrent has issues handling the MAME set but I don't have the option to pick and choose files in QBitTorrent) then I selected none and used the update files to pick the ones I needed for the new set which was 122 files this month so it did take me about 45 minutes to go through and get all the files I wanted then I simply overwrote the files in the MAME 0.186 set.

In Regular MAME64 in the built in UI there is a audit option. 1st launch MAME with no game loaded then go to configure options and then go to miscellaneous there you will find an info auto audit option if you turn this on you can stop on games in the built in UI for MAME and it shows in the right side info pane if your game passes audit or not all my games do so I'm not sure what it would look like if it didn't but it at least is a start and MAME will give you a yes or no answer on whether or not a game is ready to go or not.
