@cammelspitif you go to tools and manage emulators and choose a specific emulator and go to edit there is a tab at the top for folders from there you can point the specific directories where ever you want them to go you will have to do it manually one platform at a time though I believe.

CPS-1 worked great so I think you got it right on the uploads these look great and they are unique nobody else has arcade carts. Thanks for sharing.

Go to where Supreme Warrior is and right click on it does disc 2 show up in the context menu many users wanted access to all their discs but didn't want to have multiple instances of the same game to scroll to. If that is good with you then cool if not and you still want to add the disc Import the disc again but in the wizard use the checkbox to import duplicates and that should let it through.

That would be the shaders which are pretty amazing @lordmonkusis much more knowledgeable than me when it comes to shaders. Yeah try the 16:9 if you don't like it switch it back or try custom settings.

Ok here is the question do you want to render the games in their original aspect ratio or do you want to have them fill your whole screen? If you prefer the latter without any core loaded go into RetroArch's menu and press right then go down to the video option and press x then go down to Aspect Ratio Index and change it to 16:9 or play with the settings to find something you like. I personally use 16:9 for all of my games in RA.

Welcome @necron99lets see if we can figure out your issue 1st in LaunchBox click on tools from the dropdown choose options, in options in the 1st section there is an option for Game Details click it and make sure the checkbox for videos is checked then click ok if you changed it or cancel if it was already checked. Next go into View and make sure autoplay videos is checked this should get your videos working in LB. If both of these options were already turned on then you have another problem. If so try repeating the 1st instruction up to the point where you get to the game details and instead of clicking that click video and change your video player and see if that works. For BigBox as soon as it starts use esc to back out to the menu then go to options 1st go to views in Platforms List View: Mine is set to Platform Wheel with image details and video there are a few options under there just make sure that you are using one that includes videos. Next go to Videos and check any of the boxes there that you think you may want to use. If changing your video player helped for LB then in the videos section change your video Playback Engine to match what you have in LB. Hope this helps let us know if you are still having issues.

I use crt-pi on my tablets and they push it and my i5 3330 was usable with quite a few of the presets before I added my card.

Yeah Dreamcast is a typo I think and he is referring to Saturn based on the rest of the text.

Atari Lynx, NeoGeo Pocket, NeoGeo Pocket Color, Wander Swan, Wonder Swan Color, TurboGrafx 16, TurboGrafx CD, SuperGrafx, PCFX and Virtual Boy are all examples of emulators where the sotand alone is not up to par with RetroArch. These are just hands down examples there are even more debatable ones as to if Gens GX is currently better than Kega and I say yes but Kega is still solid there are enough NES emulators that a few are probably good enough to be better than the RA core but by how much who knows. I remember when these guys were beating me up with just use RA it so much better and I would some time get a little pissy about it because when you don't want to use RA the last thing you want everyone to tell you when you ask for advice is use RA, I understand that the things is though they were right and I was just being stubborn about. So as some one who used to be in your shoes just learn how to use RA and you will be like oh shit why didn't I just do this to begin with.

If you had the list files it would be pretty easy to have it parse them all instead of just the two though and who knows in 2 or 3 years time maybe MAME will be everyone go to method even for most consoles especially if they get even more accurate on even more systems only time will tell I know one thing grabbing software list is a pretty simple way of grabbing all games for mostly all systems all at one time except that the naming screws everything up. If they were to be parsed it would also give users the option to exclude all clones hacks pirates and other things in the software list or even add the option to add these things automatically as additional apps.

Yeah Brad I have the Software List actually too but I don't use them because I don't think LB can parse the names correctly but if that was to change in the future I could see using the Software List roms.

I use stand alone MESS but I just set up the directory to point to my MAME ROMs file for all of the bios files and then add additional directories for what ever system's games I am trying to emulate.

From experience ROMs on external HDD's work great in LB especially if you have USB 3.0 most games actually will work great over Gigabit LAN from my server but at a certain point (PS2, Dreamcast, GameCube WII) you need to have a data drive be it an internal or external If you are comfortable opening your case up though and have room I would definitely go SSD with 5TB internal drive for future proofing and expansion but I am a serious data hoarder so that just how I do it.

Okay sorry about that I can confirm however that Cortana does indeed open BigBox with an "alright then" Testing further when you ask Cortana to open LaunchBox it gives me 4 options for the website, the wiki, my .exe and the uninstall.exe and I just told it the number and it opened it right up.

I open other programs with Cortana so I don't see why not.

Is there anyway to use LEDBlinky with a HTPC set up that not so much blinks with the buttons that you us but that would just implement like a cool light show around your setup making it kind look like a old school arcade in the whole room around my HDTV. Say using something like this connected to the PC.
