Also are you aware that the disc are actually (or should be) getting added under the 1st disc if you right click it you should see the additonal discs listed as additional apps and you can access and launch them like any game that was displayed or are you more looking to have them all on display and not worried about just being able to launch them.
Having them named disk 1 disk 2 is the method that is being used to ensure you only see one game which is what many users have been requesting for a long time now that has been implemented there is a new group of users cropping up who want to have all of their discs listed. Have you tried naming them disc1of2 disc2of4 or some such to see if that breaks the functionality.
The keyboard keys should already be configued for most emulators it uses x,z,a,s,q,w if I believe enter is start f is fullscreen cursors are directional
Yeah except for when you get into the Capcoms Sega Boards usually the service will be consistent between those. It doesn't change much but it is nice for those I believe that setting #27 is free play on almost all of the Sega systems.
Wonder if my suggestion would work with both split and merged sets would be cool if it handled both. It would just need to autoset the clones as additional apps without looking for the actual roms it would just populate them from the list.
A MAME list I'm guessing an official one but I'm not sure for which version Jason has it setup or if he has ever updated it since he 1st implemented it. MAME makes changes monthly.
Jason beat me to it.
What it should be guys is both parties should have the option to get what you want in LB and BB for the database there had to be a decision and the decision is not to split the sets so basically now you are debating something that is already been decided on and most likely isn't going to change again.
That's not how it works the VLC engine that Jason uses is packaged into LB you don't even need the program installed on your computer and you can use the VLC engine in LB and BB. You may want to try updating your videos drivers but there isn't anything to link you too.

Made the ticket if anybody sees this and likes it vote it up.
@Jason CarrI thought of this the other night but haven't mentioned it yet but what if like the new method to add subsequent disks as additional apps we added an option to parse the MAME list and add the clones as additional apps then you would only be skipping the other junk you would get the clones but they wouldn't at the same time be junking up your install with many multiples of the same game taking up visible space on your screen. Also it would be cool if you could work in a number that would appear for a game with any additional apps showing which games had them set up and how many you had setup for that game.
You can definitely setup a 2nd 3rd 4th .... install of LB that is something many users have setup There are more than a few emulators that have xinput support native RetroArch especially and controllers just work although the hotkey binding needs to be setup separately in RA many of the emulators you would have to config the controls but it isn't that hard and it is better than using a unnecessary 3rd party app at least in my opinion.
Good question about the CD features I know Fusion doesn't support disc swapping which is important for a few games the one thing better about Fusion is that it supported the 32X and the CD 32X combo which would be nice to see added to the Gens core rather than needing Pico drive for both of those game sets. I know this is moot because you said switching to RA isn't an issue for Sega stuff but I was just curious.
