  1. Yeah if you have a lot of duplicate games like in a GoodSet that is a far from ideal solution to the issue.
  2. Either move them to where your cue files got copied to or when you import your games tell LB to leave your files where they are already.
  3. In my tests I found that if you name the platform differently from the default such as Super Nintendo instead of Super Nintendo Entertainment system but scrape as Super Nintendo Entertainment System it worked fine and caught all the games. Another thing I found was if you turn on Force Import Duplicates it seems to catch every game as well. Though keep in mind my test was done using a smaller set of SNES specific roms. I did not go beyond that since I was able to reproduce the issue as it was reported by another user.
  4. Does this really need to be explained again ? There are other Android devices out there that are set top boxes and hook up to the TV, things like the Nvidia Shield TV. The Windows desktop version is not taking a backseat at all. There has been a lot of interest for a very long time for an Android version of Launchbox because of an apparent lack of good frontends for the platform and this will be another source of income for Jason so he can continue working on Launchbox.
  5. I did some testing recently and there is a bug with the importer missing games and it appears to be somehow related to the platform naming. I also told Jason about it and he said he was going to look into it.
  6. You just have to go into the Edit Emulator > Associated Platforms and add each platform you want and the appropriate command line parameter. I have a 2nd install of Mame just for non arcade emulation that also has no better options and some testing here and there.
  7. Turn off "save on exit" and make per core configs.
  8. This is not something that is supported directly with pre-populated command lines or the software lists in the full set importer. While Mame is amazing at arcade emulation and is very good at some console / computer system emulation it is generally not the way we would recommend emulating those systems outside of a small selection of edge cases where Mame is the only truly viable option over other emulator options.
  9. Ugh, so much wasted time on a stupid Android port when we could have had the mind reading feature implemented easily by now. I hate you. /sarcasm
  10. Actually, if you aren't using the Mame Software Lists rom set all you need to do is either tell Mame where your bios are or put the bios in the \Mame\roms folder.
  11. LOL, that's hilarious, I would have figured you would have at least stumbled on to it or seen it asked about on the forums by this point. It's not a new feature at all.
  12. What ? You've been around here how long now and you didn't know about controller automation ?
  13. Please post feature requests to the BitBucket page, you can find it by clicking Help & Support at the top of the site here and in that menu Request a Feature. Create a playlist of these games.
  14. All the BigBox settings are accessed from within BigBox when a game is not loaded. You simply back out t he menus til you get to the options menu.
  15. There is a pause screen feature that does allow you to do some stuff like exit game, save state management and view manuals if available but you cannot do any emulator setting since that is in the emulators themselves. Right now you cannot bind this to the home / guide button but that button was highly voted for on the latest poll so it should be worked on soon.
  16. PLace t he .xml file in your LaunchBox\Data\Playlists folder, restart LB if it was running at the time. You need to have the game files matching in the xml file imported into LB for it to work but they should match the roms from the No-Intro set other than maybe the homebrew games, edit the file names in the xml file to match the rom file you have imported.
  17. There's no need to pointlessly "bump" a thread, it's widely considered spam. If you want an update either ask or join his discord which is linked in his videos.
  18. Yeah, use either the Stella core (not the Stella2014 one) or stand alone Stella. Both of these are basically 100% accurate and they will play even the most advanced homebrew.
  19. Yeah, if I remember right Jason said he didn't feel right about taking Patreon money for a commercial product.
  20. I personally don't use a DS4 for emulation because I prefer wired controllers but I do know that they are a bit more effort to get up and running on a PC and you need some extra 3rd party software to get it to work. This is the software I have seen recommended to be used but someone else may have better advice for you: https://ryochan7.github.io/ds4windows-site/
