  1. I don't see anything wrong with having a lock out mode that hides adult games. That way people can have their full library of games and have the adult ones hidden when they want them hidden while being able to show them when needed as well. I personally have no need for this feature myself but I do believe it should be added. There has been plenty of requests for it, it just never does well on the polls.
  2. Maybe Jason forgot to add it, you can add your own though, just go to the bottom of the list in the empty box and add it.
  3. Dual Shock 4, it has ridiculously low input latency, approx 3-4 ms compared to 20+ in just about every other bluetooth controller.
  4. I would imagine but I honestly do not know, it's not something I use myself.
  5. Make sure that you have the correct core selected in the Associated Platforms tab in the Edit Emulator window in LB. Also make sure that the platform name in the Associated Platforms match the platform your 2600 games are imported into. That's my first guess without any more information.
  6. Like I said, Jason wants to include this for his own reasons and will probably do it at some point despite the polls never showing much interest in the feature. The best work around right now is to just make a 2nd install of LB for kids and guests who you don't want to have access to your naughty games. The simplest way to do this is to make a copy of your LB setup, assuming your games and emulators are stored outside of your LB install folder and go through and remove the games. Another possible temporary solutions is to go through and mark the adult games as broken and hide broken games. I know neither of these solutions are as good as a proper adult filter mode but I do believe Jason will implement it sooner rather than much later.
  7. Yeah I know but it's still a feature I support being added in.
  8. It's something that gets added to the polls but never gets many votes for. I know Jason wants to do it and I think it should be added as well even though I have no use for it personally. Jason may just do it at some point but it's not something that is being prioritized at the moment at all.
  9. Ok I said 7900 so I had to go out back and check the box, it's an old 7850 which i've upgraded twice since then. https://www.newegg.com/sapphire-radeon-hd-7850-100355-1gocl/p/N82E16814202004
  10. I would suggest anything with GDDR5 vram, even my old Radeon 7900 with 1 gig of GDDR5 vram can run the heavier shaders. If you get a 1030 make sure you get the one with the GDDR5 ram and not the other one.
  11. Unless you are using RocketLauncher you should just be able to turn off bezels in the mame.ini and test quickly. Also I am pretty certain you can toggle them while Mame is running in the Tab menu.
  12. That sounds like something going on with the bezel, if you turn off bezels do those same games display that issue ?
  13. Can you post a screenshot of your LB platforms list ?
  14. Make sure that your Associated Platforms in the Edit Emulator window for Retroarch match the platform names you have your games imported to.
  15. To be perfectly honest I don't think having that as some sort of feature in LB is a good idea. It's risky since it could delete stuff you don't want deleted and drive space is cheap.
  16. Your best bet would be to do it manually but be extremely careful because you don't want to delete any required bios or parent files and break your working games.
  17. Check your video refresh rate in Retroarch and make sure that is not running at something slow like 30Hz, it should be at 60 or higher.
  18. Good to hear you got it all sorted out, it really is nice playing those arcade games at their proper speeds without any weirdness like screen tearing or stutter.
  19. Place your video in \Launchbox\Videos\Startup The video can be named anything you want, if you have multiple videos Launchbox will pick one at random to play on startup.
  20. Another tip if you want is to create a 2nd or more entries of an emulator and setup the associated platforms with alternate cores. That way you can quickly pick the emulator entry from the list rather than fill in the command line. If it's just a few games you may not want to clutter up the emulator list but if you want to do a whole bunch of custom ones then the emulator entries saves time. You don't need to setup separate installs wasting drive space, it's a new entry in LB pointing to the same emulator install.
  21. Most themes are meant to be used on a 16:9 screen but there are some 4:3 ones that should work on a CRT such as Four-By-Three found here: It really is on the theme makers to make themes to support low resolution CRT displays but unfortunately not too many people have those displays any more nowadays so they don't receive the love they deserve.
