  1. Awesome @RetroHumanoid! Thanks for sharing these.
  2. @UnderwoodNC I tried out the new plugin and I did not get the steam banner error as before. The game I tried to upload with the plugin was a new game and it uploaded the images fine that I had associated with the game to the database but it did not pull any of the information like publisher, developer and stuff like that even though I had that information available. I think the only thing it pulled info wise was (Cooperative- False). I also clicked back on LaunchBox to see what was going on there and I just got the windows blue spinning busy circle. I waited for a while to see if the blue spinning circle ever stopped but I just had to ctrl-alt-delete out of LaunchBox to exit. I guess I can try with another game and see if I get same result.
  3. @UnderwoodNC I just tested out the new update and it does not give me the same problem as before as I can get a little further into the game submission but I did get a error at the end and the game did not submit. I am submitting a new Windows game and the error I got at the end was (Cannot locate element with text:Steam Banner)
  4. @Charco I asked @Jason Carr about the startup videos issues during one of the streams and he said that he still plans to look at the startup video issues soon since it was voted up high on the last poll.
  5. @NJDave71 The theme is coming along very nicely and see you have made many revisions to make it better and better and fixed some thing which is awesome. I would probably recommend when you are satisfied with all the fixes which I think you are pretty much there is to maybe make another annoucement in this thread telling about all the fixes and such. Alot of users might have downloaded the first version and might not have known about all the revisions that you did to make the theme even better
  6. It should not be an issue. Once it goes through the moderation queue the mistake should hopefully be caught and deleted.
  7. I see lots of great improvements listed above and some others I would like to see are in no particular order. 1. Add @Grila's platform clear logo fading in and out code to the default theme as it would really take the fullscreen platform wheel view up a notch. 2. Have an option in the BigBox menu to turn off platform device images. This would really help for the default theme in the fullscreen platform wheel view because the device images do not look good in that view. 3. I am not sure if this is simple or not but being able to to have the ability to have a option to prioritize different music over video sound per platform would be awesome 4. Being able to change rom paths in the bulk edit wizard 5. The option to have a different generic noimage.png per platform that replaces the Launchbox logo image if you have no artwork for that game
  8. @UnderwoodNC I am experiencing this same issue as @letstalkaboutdune mentioned up above as well when I tried to submit a new game to the database a few days ago with your plugin and I am not using ublock as well.
  9. Yes what @lordmonkus said and another way to look at it is basically as soon as you choose a game to play and hit that button within your frontend rather it be BigBox or HS to play that said game is when RL takes over. Then when you exit back out of the game back into your frontend RL is no longer in control.
  10. Just tried out the new beta with no issues so far and I do notice some speed inprovements especially when navigating through the menus. My collection is about 14K games and I am using Windows 10 with all the newest updates including creators update.
  11. I agree as wbfs format is the way to go.
  12. I personally use rocketlauncher and love it. Maybe its because I have been using rocketlauncher for a long time but I feel it is extremly easy to setup and I would never use LaunchBox/BigBox without it as it adds the extra features that truly makes BigBox shine even more. I would advise people to learn and use Rocketlauncher just for the material alone that @RetroHumanoid here on the forums puts out for RocketLauncher as no one has taken RL to the next level like his work has.
  13. @Jason Carr I noticed that you fixed the playlist banners in a custom theme overiding what is in the main playlist folder which is great! One more thing I noticed today is when I put fanart in a custom theme fanart folder to overide what is in the main platform fanart folder is that it overides a platform view that has fanart in it but it does not overide a game view that has fanart in it (if you do not have fanart for a paticular game of course). In the game view it just shows the default fanart that is in the main platform fanart folder rather than show the fanart that you put in the custom theme. So I do not know if this is a new problem that just crept up or something that has been going on for a while as I just tried it out today.
  14. Yes that was it,I did have the scroll details unchecked in games and platforms. I remember I did uncheck them quiet a while ago because I did not like the details to scroll in some of the other themes I tried. Some themes do not need them to scroll because you can already see all the info on the screen but it does make sense with your theme the way you have it layed out.
  15. Aweome theme @nosh I am having a strange issue that none of the metadata is showing up in the theme like the game description or anything in any of the views and I have installed all the fonts. That same game description information shows up in other themes.
  16. @Jason Carr I just wanted to add some more findings with the refresh cache issue. Refresh image cache is really broken right now as the only way I can get new images that I add to show up is to use the refresh all images option. Refresh image cache does not work in the BB option menu for the seperate refresh options like game, wheel and platforms, just the refresh all works. Also when you add images to theme folders like clear logos and such that is supposed to overide what is in the main LaunchBox folder you have to refresh all images to get them to show up.
  17. I thought I had read about at some point that the shaders in the Retroarch do not automatically switch to the correct orientation for the MAME core between vertical and horizontal games. I wonder if this issue ever got fixed because that would be a deal breaker for me for not using the Retroarch MAME core?
  18. @Jason Carr This does seem to be an issue as I noticed this problem as well yesterday.
  19. @RetroHumanoid That would be awesome if you could upload the modified wheel art. That totally makes sense what you said up above because some of my wheel art seems out of proportion in the fade screens. I am using your same RL settings as well and I just ran a couple of wheels through autokustom with the suggestions you gave above and the wheels that I did look perfect in the fade now. You are an all star sir!
  20. The theme is looking very good...looking forward to trying it out when completed.
  21. There is not a lot of info out there to convert the packs to hpc but yes what was previously said that you must use the glupen plugin which does not come standard with P64. I also had to patch my version of P64 so it would read and convert the much bigger Mario 64 hi res texture pack but I was using the newest version of P64. An older version you might not have to patch. The Mario 64 pack is huge so it will take an extra few seconds to load up your game as well.
  22. Thanks for the explanation @Jason Carr
  23. Its not downloading any duplicate images which is a good thing. I also do not have my multi disc games merged in LaunchBox either as I let RocketLauncher handle that so that could be throwing it off also, I'm not sure. Also wanted to point out @SentaiBrad that RL does pick up the images with -01,-02,-03 and etc. on the end of the file name. RL looks for the images named exactly after the rom name or the name that LB gives it with -01,-02 and etc. on the end of the name.
  24. Yeah I thought it was some kind of crc number but I am not sure if it is the intended behavior or not for it to be added on to the image name because the majority of the images I download do not have the extra characters added on to the image name. For instance today I downloaded about 600 images and only about 25 to 30 images had those extra characters added on. Also this issue has been going on way before Jason added the extra code to prevent duplicate images from being downloaded. One thing I have noticed is it happens to the majority of all multi disc games but it does happen to a few single cartridge or single disc games as well so I am hoping it is something that be corrected so I do not have to manually erase all those extra characters so RocketLauncher can pick it up. I guess we will wait to see what our master @Jason Carr has to say about it.
  25. I am not sure if this is a games database issue for @Vlansix or is it something @Jason Carr needs to look at on how the images are downloaded but I have noticed it has been going on for a while now. When downloading some images from the database through LB a lot of images get a long character name added onto the image name. For example I downloaded a fanart background today for Baten Kaitos Origins and the image downloaded as (Baten Kaitos Origins.47b04652-3aa9-4721-8c9d-51030a0cd399-01.jpg) . This is just one example as a lot of images download like this with all these added characters. While LB still recognizes these images with these added characters,RocketLauncher does not in the fade and pause menus. Rocketlauncher is looking for the image to be named after the rom name or for instance (Baten Kaitos Origins-01) like is typically downloaded. Can this issue be corrected because if not I am going to have to manually erase all these extra charaters from the image name so they will show up in RocketLauncher?
