@CriticalCidGreat job on the two new views! One thing I noticed on the new views is you cannot change box view types with a keyboard press if you have a key mapped in BB options to change box view types. Like for instance if I wanted to change from 3D Boxes to Box Front or vice versa. Is this by design?- 627 replies

@Jason Carr One more thing I am not sure if you are aware of (has been going on a while now). When I purchase new games for Steam in my Steam account and then I rerun the Steam importer in LB it detects my new games correctly but it always imports the new games as the platform "Windows". My Steam platform is called "Steam" in LB and I have it set to Scrape as "Windows". I currently do not have a platform called Windows so the importer creates a new platform called Windows and puts the new detected Steam games in that platform. I can easily get them transfered back into my Steam platform by doing a bulk edit and changing the image and video folders but its just an added step I guess. Just wanted to point it out in case you were not aware.

Here are 3 pics of views which showcase the game theme videos very well. The last 2 are from the Minimal A-O theme and the first one is from FutureState theme. To me it looks better if there is no boxart or very small boxart because it takes away from the game theme video as you can see with the Futurestate one. I actually like the second pic the best for game theme videos because it is very simple and basic but some very small additions could be added so it would not take away from the game theme videos themselves. There is also some game theme videos in the download section here on the forum in the download section for you to download if your emumovies does not work. Thanks for considering.

Just got a chance to check out this theme and it is awesome and will be putting this in my rotation of themes. I love all the views but I was wondering if you would consider making an additional game view that would utilize the the recorded Hyperspin themes in partial fullscreen with the clear logo wheel on the right or left side of the screen that @CriticalCid made on this thread: Great job on the theme!

@Jason Carr I think you might have solved the error that I was having with this theme a few versions ago because I have not seen it since and I remember you commented on bitbucket that it was fixed. It was the same error that @imdavid555 was reporting. Although I do switch themes often and don't use the same one all the time.

@Jason Carr I am in agreement with @shinra358 on the video issue of pausing and resuming. Although my system can handle it I am ok with the the game or platform video starting back over from the beginning of the video verses it pausing and resuming where the video left off when you exit back out from a game or platform. As long as the video starts back up automatically when exiting a game or exiting from the game list into the platforms list I am happy. On my system when exiting out of game the game video already starts back automatically from the beginning of the video. The only time I notice the pause and resume where the video left off is when exiting out of the games list back into the platforms list. I actually would prefer the platform video to start back automatically over from the beginning verses resuming where it left off when exiting from the games list. Maybe others can chime in and give opinion.

@Jason Carr One thing I noticed with the newest beta that probally has something to do with the hiding of the taskbar is : The option in BigBox to switch to desktop mode to enter Launchbox no longer works as it just closes BigBox instead of switching to LaunchBox.

Amazing update...you are obviously very knowledgeable about xaml as it shows. Loving the theme and like the default background as it really makes the clear logos and box images pop and stand out!

I justed wanted to chime in here and say I have been following this theme for a while and each revision you do it keeps getting better and better. This is an awesome theme and I really like seeing the scanlines on the game videos as they were ment to be shown as it just gives it that polished retro look. This theme has moved in to my top 3 list for sure and the one I am currently using as I switch up my themes every once in a while to keep BigBox fresh. Great job you are doing on this theme!

Its a great plug for LaunchBox for sure especially since his first mame cabinet video got close to 400,000 views. Metal Jesus is a great youtuber that I enjoy watching about retro games because he comes across as genuine and has great content.

That is the same error I have been getting only with the Futurestate theme as I have not had it occur while using any other themes. I have gotten the same error that @imdavid555 reported up above at least a dozen times. I have mentioned it in the beta thread and put a bug report on bitbucket.

@Jason Carr With the newest beta I am noticing some awesome speed improvements especially when transitioning between videos or themes as there is almost zero delay. I have been testing Futurestate and CriticalZone and the speed improvements are very obvious in both themes. Great job!!
