  1. @Jason Carr I do not know if it has to do with the latest beta with the memory fix but now since I did the update all the game views per platform I had saved on the previous beta have been reset. A couple saved but most of them got reset.
  2. It is a little longer setup at first I agree. You could also put the clear logos into the respective theme folder as well and it would overide the folder I mentioned above. For example for CityHunter theme you could put your clear logos into the LaunchBox\Themes\CityHunter\Images\Platforms\Clear Logo folder as well. Don't forget to refresh the platform wheel image cache afterwards
  3. Yes,they need to be placed in C:\Launchbox\Images\Platforms\Atari 5200\Clear Logo
  4. @Jason Carr I am still putting the beta through some test but so far working pretty well
  5. Less memory usage is always a good thing!
  6. Do you mean you have the default logos in the default theme clear logo folder and the silver clear logos in the Critical Zone clear logo folder?
  7. @Porl Hendy Hmmm.. It still should all go in the same place and I have not had any issue with this. Did you try refreshing your platform wheel image cache?
  8. Once you pick your global platform theme, you can enter into each of your platforms/playlist game views and pick a different theme in the Switch Theme box that pops up for each one of them. It saves it, so the next time you enter back into the platform/playlist game view it automatically goes into whatever theme you picked. You might also have to have "Remember Seperate View for each Platform" enabled as well in the Options/Views menu.
  9. @wirtual82 All you do is go into Bigbox options, then enter into keyboard mappings and choose a key of your choice under where is says "Switch Theme". Once you have mapped that key just press that key to bring up the Switch Themes menu while in the platform or games view.
  10. @Grila I was wondering if you could help me out with something with your theme. I was wanting to add scanlines to the video overlay in the games view and was trying to figure out the easiest way to accomplish this? This is a mockup I did on how it would look.
  11. @Jason Carr One other thing I have experienced in the new beta with the startup vid improvements is a couple of times my keyboard keys have been non resposive when BigBox starts up. The only thing I can do is Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get out, even ESC will not work. This is random as it does not happen every time.
  12. This is not the first user I have heard say this. I have not let my attract mode run overnight in a while so I cannot say if mine does the same on my arcade cabinet. I will try to test and see if it happens on my end as well.
  13. Actually I am not totally positive on that as its just an assumption. I guess @Jason Carr can chime in on that to confirm.
  14. I have experienced this as well a few times and I kind of suspect it as a VLC issue. I am going to switch to WMP and see if it happens again.
  15. I have been looking forward to these startup vid features... just did some test and everything seems to be working great!! Awesome job @Jason Carr!!
  16. No worries..I will try to get this done.
  17. @GunerX The very best compression for PS2 iso's that are gz files and they open pretty much instantly as well. Lookup how to gzip for PCSX2 files and that will be your best option for sure.
  18. Yes I have experienced the issue as well...I am sure @Jason Carr will look at the issue soon. I think he said it may be a difficult thing to track down the root of the issue.
  19. @sasquatch Although it does sound like a useful feature, it has not been implemented as of yet but that feature has been requested before so I am sure @Jason Carr will get it in at some point but sometimes it can be difficult to know what a true full rom set is as people have different opinions
  20. @Machello There is some kind of bug at the moment that sometimes just refreshing platform cache does not do the trick. You could try refreshing coverflow image cache first and see if that does the trick but sometimes the only time I can get the cache to refresh properly is to refresh all cache which I know is not ideal.
  21. @Jason Carr Thats all you did...slacker!! Just kidding...great job on the improvements Looking forward to the stream for the startup vid improvements as well.
  22. @Wheeler You can add the images to the LaunchBox\Images folder in there respective platform name folder. For instance if your platform was called PC Games and you wanted to put in some Box Front images. These would go in the LaunchBox\Images\PC Games\Box-Front folder and so on for each piece of art. Make sure to name the art after the game name as well.
  23. @stevaside Thanks for work on these. You are more than welcome to upload these in the download section here on the forum. That way they do not get lost over time and will always be there. I would also say you could upload these to the games database but we do not have a proper section as of yet for the Pinball stuff.
  24. @Frank Drebin That feature has been requested a good number of times but has not been implemented as of yet.
  25. Great...glad it worked out for you!
