  1. @cormegaman If you look in the download section in the CleanBG theme he has a version of the theme that is called CleanBGnosystems that you can download and after you download it and open up the zipfile the fanart that you are looking for with no systems are in the CleanBGnosystems\Images\Platforms\Fanart folder.
  2. Sounds awesome....really looking forward to the new version!
  3. @Jason Carr It looks like the bug is back on certain views that when you exit out of a game the game video does not start back automatically playing as it just shows a screenshot. The game videos start back automatically and work great on both coverflow views that have video but it does not work on the game wheels view or game background videos when you exit a game. It is the same with vlc and wmp as I tested both of these out. I was meaning to tell you before you got the official release out but I just got a chance to do so.
  4. You are supposed to be able to switch ultrastik maps with ledblinky but I was never 100% successful in doing so but other users have been. The only way I got it to work 100% was to use rocketlauncher along with this app: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=145513.0
  5. I love the unexpected surprises!! The new sound additions are great and the addition of sound packs is excellent!! The faster startup time is much needed and AWESOME!!!!
  6. @Styphelus Yes they are other users reporting that same issue over on this thread.
  7. @Jason Carr I forgot to mention this a few days ago but there is one thing I noticed when I was importing some Steam games. I have a platform called Steam and I have all my Steam games on that platform but occasionally I do purchase some new games and want to import them to that platform. Well I went through the Steam import process again and it found the 4 additional games that I purchased in my Steam library which is great. But instead of LaunchBox importing them to my Steam platform, it created a Windows platform and imported them to it instead of my Steam platform. I of course have Steam to scrape as Windows but I thought I remember last week you had mentioned that this issue was resolved to where it did not change the platform name is the reason I bring it up and just wanted to let you know.
  8. Sounds very cool...looking forward to trying it out!
  9. @viking These look awesome and thanks for adding the "s" on the end. These are very high quality and look great on my arcade cabinet! Top notch work as always!!
  10. @Jason Carr Since the official LedBlinky plugin has been released I have noticed that it now takes about 4 to 5 seconds before the startup led animation begins when you first startup BigBox. I have contacted arzoo about this and he said it is due to ledblinky is reading the launchbox.xml at startup and the bigger xml you have it will cause more slowdown since everything is stored in one xml. I was wondering what your thoughts were on this and have you gave some consideration to splitting the platform xml's up by system? I know that it would probably be a big undertaking but I feel like it would boost BigBox performance so much especially with startup time and while scrolling through the menus and such.
  11. @Jason Carr I have been having a lot of problems with the escape button as well in BigBox since the new release. Sometimes in BigBox I have to hit escape several times before it registers. For instance if I am backing out of the games menu into the platforms menu it most of the time works but then when I try to hit escape again to go into the options menu it will not work a lot of the time unless I scroll up on the wheel and then hit escape. It had gotten so bad I was beginning to suspect I needed a new escape button for my arcade cabinet. Stangely enough it seems to affect my arcade cabinet with my I-pac as a keyboard controller more so than my gaming pc with a regular keyboard Do you think it could be related to the new safeguards you put in for VLC?
  12. I like to keep my arcade platforms seperated out into the main companies that produced the games. For instance I also like to group my CPS1,CPS2,and CPS3 all together into a Capcom Classics wheel. And everything else that does not go on these wheels down below goes into the Arcade Classics platform. I was wondering if you would mind creating these wheels for me with the silver ring. Thanks everyone!
  13. @Jason Carr I just fired up BigBox again to see which views I was on to report back here and gave the videos another test run with vlc for another 15 to 20 mins and honestly I could not produce the double audio again. I was trying just as hard as before going into games view and back out to platforms like a raging animal again and could not make it happen. I had nothing different in my setup as before so I am puzzled but I am glad and happy to see. VLC has come a long way and I think it is ready for primetime and maybe even the default since it supports steam webm videos!
  14. @Jason Carr I just gave the VLC engine about a 15 to 20 min test in the new beta going into the games view and then back out and scrolling through the games and platforms and I was able to reproduce the overlapping video about 2 or 3 times but honestly I was going in and out of the menus like a madman which I would normally would not do during regular use. One thing that really stands out as a difference between the VLC and the WMP players is as follows: WMP: Entering the games list from the platform list while a platform video is playing and then backing out back into the platform list the platform video starts back over from the beginning which is normal VLC: Entering the games list from the platform list while a platform video is playing the platform video actually pauses and when you exit back out into the platform videos instead of the video starting back over it resumes where it left off before you entered into the games menu. Also on another note, you must have fixed something in the last 2 betas because the videos are working normal now with the CleanBG theme with the vlc engine selected
  15. That is a very nice looking theme...looking forward to the release!
  16. There are several, but 2 come to mind right now and they are Castle of Illusion and Strider Returns. Although Castle of Illusion got removed a few weeks ago and got put into the Disney vault for a while but will be back on Steam in probably in a couple of years. I think it is stupid that Disney does this as I knew they did it with there movies but putting games in the vault is ridiculous. One more I just though of is Double Dragon Neon which is very good!
  17. @Jason Carr I been testing the VLC engine a lot and I do believe the issues with random landing on a game and no video issue has been fixed as I have not seen it at all. Although I am still seeing the audio playing over other audio at times when exiting out of the game menu into the platform menu or vice versa. The only other issue I am seeing with the VLC engine is with the CleanBG theme on hearing audio but not seeing video in random 16:9 ratio games in the the games wheel and text list views. So I guess something in the newest betas with the vlc fixes must have broken something in his theme so I guess that is not your issue since that does not happen in the default views. The strange thing is, with WMP chosen it does not happen with the CleanBG theme. VLC is almost there with it being the default in BigBox and has improved a lot especially since it can natively play the webm videos without any additional plugins installed.
  18. Great job on these as they look really nice!
  19. This just got released, looking forward to purchasing on Steam as I really enjoyed the first one!
  20. @Jason Carr You are correct sir the VLC issues I mentioned above only seems to be affecting the CleanBG theme in the wheels game view and the games text list view. The default and the other themes seem to be unaffected by it. Very strange indeed and I need to make sure I am on the default theme next time I do these test.
  21. @DR9 RocketLauncher is a wonderful companion to BigBox. Just a few additional things it brings to the table are very clean emulator launching that hides emulator starting screens with a nice fade screen. The ability to use bezel art with your games which is great because with some of the bezel art out there you can make your widescreen monitor look like an actual arcade cabinet with identical looking bezel art from the real arcade game. Also RL offers a Pause feature that you can Pause any game, even MAME games and it sends you into another menu where you can read a manual for the game or look at artwork, videos, etc. and also use the save and load state within this menu. Also if you use multiple frontends, Rocketlauncher supports most of them with plugins and you can switch between a different frontend within RL within seconds and be up and going in no time with all your emulators, rom paths and settings are already saved so you do not have to setup all that stuff again with another frontend. There are many more features but these are just a few. I really don't understand why some people dislike it or think it is hard to use. I feel once you get your feet wet with it like anything else it is very easy to understand and use. Maybe because I consider myself a power user I fully appreciate all it has to offer as I like lots of options but every user will be different. I do feel like most people that has actually tried RocketLauncher and gave it a "serious" run really appreciate it for all it has to offer.
  22. @Jason Carr I am already seeing very strange issues with the newest beta with the VLC engine. It only seems to affect the ones sized for 16:9 ratio like steam or wii videos, but very often when I land on one of those videos I can hear the music but cannot see any video. No matter what I do no video will not display until I switch back to WMP.
  23. Sounds great @arzoo! I can be a beta tester if you need one, just let me know when ready.
  24. @Chest Rockwell LedBlinky is currently supported and has been implemented for about a week or so in the newest betas and works great. If you want to wait on an official release I believe Jason may be releasing one soon in the coming up week or so.
