Hmmmm strange. When I first started using the theme I was having a issue with letters being cutoff so I installed Grila's included font over mine and use WMP instead of VLC and everything looks and works normal for me now. Yes I love the theme as well as it is my go to theme.

I just wanted to point out to everyone having issues that the font included with Fundamental is a modified version of Bebas Neue. So even if you have Bebas Neue installed,you still need to overwrite it with the version included with the theme so as to not get letters getting cutoff.

@Grila If you start working back on this awesome theme again would it be too much trouble to add a fullscreen 16:9 platform theme view with your fading out code of the clear logos included and also a game view with the clear logos on the left and the rest of the screen utilize the 4:3 game theme videos for the converted HS MAME themes? Then Fundamental would be the perfect all in one theme for me.

@Sub-Zero Welcome aboard as your work is amazing and top notch! Trust me your contributions will be welcome with open arms and greatly appreciated by the LaunchBox community. There are so many great people here that are always willing to help.

I agree...this is what I had thought nested filters was going to be as well when I first heard nested filters. I think a lot of users would like and benefit from this. I know over in the HS community they have been wanting this feature for years. Sub wheels was the first thing that came to mind when I first heard of nested filters being implemented in BigBox. Do not get me wrong, I am thankful for what we have,its just different than what I thought it was going to be.

I agree @Jason Carr. It was not a smart move at all on there part. I use kodi and think it is a great program but that joke really was not in good taste at all.

Just in case you are not aware @Jason Carr has already implemented platform categories in the betas so when the next official release comes out you will have your wish if you do not use the betas

In terms of value I would have to say it would probably be one of my presidential autographs or J. Edgar Hoover. I have Jimmy Carter,Bill Clinton,Donald Trump,George W. Bush,Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon autographs. I am not saying I am a fan or not of any of them or really collect for value as I am just a collector of autographs. Also I just happen to be at the right place at the right time to obtain them.

I also collect sportscards as well. Mainly baseball and football. I usually collect for a while and then stop and pick it up again as I usually go through phases of nostalgia of things I did as a kid. I have probally did all the more popular hobbies at some point in my life. In addition to collecting sportscards I have also collected comic books and autographs, golf,fishing and the list goes on.

Its definitely worth a shot to switch over to WMP to see if that makes a difference. Truthfully I have switched back over to WMP as my go to media player within BigBox as I cannot tell a speed difference between the two and I have zero issues with it over than it not being able to play webm videos natively without a plugin. I still have noticed some issues with VLC with some music mixing with other music when going through the menus fast.

@jaythompson Just wanted to report back and say that I left my arcade cabinet on in attract mode all day and all night without a crash or error. I was using the Fundamental theme with windows media player.

@Sdentau92 I believe what you are asking for is platform categories in BigBox which @Jason Carr just implemented yesterday in the newest beta.

I am going to test it tonight on my arcade cabinet and leave BigBox running all night long in attract mode to see if mine crashes as well. I know the crash used to happen when I used Hyperspin also if I left it on attract mode for an extended period of time and it was determined it was a memory leak in the Hyperspin program.

There is a special version of Dolphin that you need to use for Triforce games which is about 3 years old now. Newer versions of Dolphin will not run Triforce games. You need Dolphin version 4.0-309 and 4.0-315 to play the Triforce games which you can download both versions from Dolphins website and there are instructions there on how to get those games running as well. The Triforce wiki page is very helpful and if you scroll down to the bottom to where the list of games are you can click on each game and it sends you to another page to get the games up and running. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Triforce

Its definitely not a bad thing as the moderators of the database can make mistakes as well.

@Warborg By all means if everythings works for you with ledblinky the easiest that is the best solution. The program that I linked is just an alternative solution.

@ninja2bceen Yes you can definitely do that. All you have to do in LaunchBox is at the top, click on Tools then Manage Platforms. This will pull up a window with all your platforms,then click edit and then click on the folders tab and you can change the path to any of your image folders in your Hyperspin setup. I want to point out that if you use RocketLauncher with the LaunchBox plugin, in order for all the images to work correctly the paths to the images has to be in LaunchBox folders though. Also if you are one of the newest betas Jason has included an option to where you can right click on any of the platforms on the left and you just right click with your mouse and be able to edit platforms as well.

@angelobodetti I do not currently emulate that system but I do believe you can emulate it with MESS which of course is now merged with MAME.

@Wayne100I beleive what you are asking for is called platform categories. These are not yet in BigBox but are in the plans in the very near future for @Jason Carr to implement. So you can split up those categories when implemented.

@Antropus Ok gotcha...no problem, my marquees are not named exactly like the rom name which is the reason the marquees are not showing up. The videos are , I was just making sure I was not missing something.

@Antropus I was wondering what might be causing the videos and the marquees not to show up in the export section on the preview arcade cabinet on the right if I have all the paths set correctly and have the videos and marquees for? I can not get any to show up.
