Okay one small thing, in game properties window, when I right click on an image I'd like to have a context menu with which I can say copy as path, so I can easily paste it into the submission box of the gamesdb

well not all of it. emu-movies is the goto place for video snaps in my opinion. so when you scrape, you send along information like "platform" playstation 2 for instance. it will ask the server if it has such a video (or any other media) it will return with what you asked for if it has any. so to come back to GTA, yes playstation has that video. if windows does not it will not give you the playstation video because a. that was not what you asked for and b. the video would look different because it's on windows and not on ps2. as to add video and images to your games, when you right click on the game you want to add media too and click properties a window will appear showing you a various info about the game including a video path. move your video to the corresponding video folder of that platform and from the properties windows point to that video. images are even easier just drop the image in the picture box located in the properties window and change the "class" of the image by right clicking on the the image you just dropped in, and class it as "clear logo" or game - screen shot or box art.. I'm doing this from the top of my head so .. I hope it sticks.

Just yesterday I stumbled upon this core, and it's indeed nebulous on how it works. I'll fiddle with it in the oncomming days. It's probably to much to expect, but I'm wondering if it includes the singe functionality.

bezels are a personal preference, but depending on your monitor aspect, you might want to hang on to them. I find that playing games with a vertical aspect, stretched over your widescreen very unsatisfying.

this works pretty good are you planning on building it out ? perhaps having the program scan the user profile for the games in the library, compiling a list and scraping off that list ? as an added function I mean. the individual scrape is pretty awesome as it allows for non steam-purchased games that are available on steam to be scraped with steam information. top notch!

it's so annoying the search engine doesnt take AD&D, but instead only searches for Ad

Okay, I had a quick search for AD&D and to my dismay I see some titles that have AD&D pasted in front of it. I will atempt to fix it the entries. add the alternate title, and will make the titles match the current standard, which is Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: [game title]

Hi, Upon moderating the entries I stumbled upon a series of name change requests that I don't agree with. The game titles are being submitted with AD&D in front of them. I think keeping the actual titles is a better idea and the AD&D should be submitted as an alternative title. And if you want to be purist about it, I'd say you call them Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, a forgotten realms fantasy roleplaying game epic vol. I : Pool of radiance instead of just pasting AD&D in front of them.. What do you guys think?

@Zombeaver a different question. arcade like gaming rigs sport some exotic hardware. Dolphin bar for instance. and some games act weird because some of these HIDs mess with the controlls. For instance, Bioshock Infinity and Rise of the Triad spin upwards. other games like prototype 2 don't start at all. Do you have a script that can disable some hardware before starting a game ?

eya, just completed Gunman chronicles, thanks for the package, it runs magnificently. I updated the GamesDB entry, assigning regions to the various boxes and adding a clear logo, 3d and 2d boxes for both the US and EU when they were missing. I thought I'd drop by and mention this and say thanks!
