  1. You need to save a "game override" in the quick menu after picking the bezel i assume?
  2. RocketLauncher is ignored, its a emulator as far as Launchbox sees it. It will delete media you no longer need in your Launchbox folders, so images, music, manuals and videos. Edit: And you can specify which ones it deletes before you run it.
  3. Yeah you can, but that new hide mouse pointer has been added since that post, whatever works for you though.
  4. Paste this into a explorer window, %windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{4234d49b-0245-4df3-b780-3893943456e1} You should then see a window like this, You can then simply right click games and choose create shortcut, you will be prompted to save it on the desktop so just create a windows store folder and put them all in there. Then you can simply drag the folder onto Launchbox and choose the none of the above option.
  5. This is a issue with retroarch when using bezels. You can try using the new hide mouse cursor in Tools/Manage emulators/retroarch/startup tab.
  6. Maybe as a workaround you could put one of the other image types, and then move Box-Front to the top of the priorities list for that image type.
  7. Hmm, weirdly i cant get it to show either. Box3D and CartFront work just fine, but BoxFront and nothing

  9. Also check that it hasn't gone int a playlist instead of a platform, if you are only in platform view.

  11. Entirely up to you.
  12. You should see a list like this.
  13. Yes, just hold CTRL and click on multiple games, or use CTRL A to highlight all games in a platform then go to tools/Download metadata and media.
  14. You need to ask the devs for a cabinet code.
  15. those are recently played, have you actually played any PS2 games?
  16. To be honest with you im not that code savvy, but lets pretend this would work. So $19 for the dev mode, then $20-$50 for Launchbox, then you have to hope that the emus actually work OK, (pretty sure its not as simple as just compiling them for uwp in those cases) then pray that microsoft doesnt say, oh hang on a minute......
  17. Nice idea, but i 100% guarantee you that Microsoft will not allow programs that allow emulation, it was briefly tried before with another program, and someone also uploaded a n64 emu, it didnt last long. Also emulators designed for windows will not automatically work on that crossover. Its a lovely idea in theory, and one i'm all for, but i dont see it ever happening.
  18. Controller companion is great and i recommend it any chance i get. However i havent used it with mame as mame lets you reassign anything you like. I should probably read the whole thread back but meh, what is the issue you are having with mame?
  19. There probably is a command for it, ill tag @DOS76 here as i know he messes with software list stuff sometimes. However i would advise you get a normal nes set preferably from no-intro. MAME is a Arcade emu, with some old computer systems thrown in from there integration with mess, but i would never recommend playing nes games in MAME.
  20. The folder name should still be in the edit window though right, so import with the real snes name then edit a game and get the msu name from the file path window there? A pain if you are adding a ton in one go, but if like @Lordmonkus you are adding games as they come in a lot easier to manage.
  21. When you copied the backup settings.xml did you rename it so it was just called settings, without the date?
  22. To add to what @Lordmonkus has already said, personally what i would do is import them with the original game name not the MSU name so that they scrape media, the just edit the name to what the actual MSU is called, and download monkus's box images to replace what the scraper grabbed.
  23. Yep, we answer this question nearly every day, associated platform and what you named the platform MUST match otherwise Launchbox thinks they are simply different systems.
  24. Make sure you actually have them selected in priorities.
