Agreed, its no slouch, its also not a powerhouse either, intergrated intel graphics can raise small form factor PC's above what they can by default, but its just that a small PC with a integrated gpu. Don't get me wrong I have a fondness for them myself, but intel gpu's are not great.

Well I spent all day yesterday updating media from both the Launchbox database and the Emumovies database, and I had no issues with either. Have you checked everything your end, firewalls etc.?

Hi and welcome to the community. I use a 0.196 set in launchbox with no issues what so ever. You say you have a echo of sorts, have you checked that multiple versions of the game are not being started at the same time? -
It depends if you are choosing import folder, or import files in the import wizard.

You can either store them in D:\LaunchBox\Themes\Unified\Videos\Platforms or Launchbox/Videos/Platforms which is where Launchbox will automatically put them if you are downloading from within the Launchbox interface. Remember for a unified look you will want the unified videos, these can be specified in the dropdown at the bottom page where the videos are downloaded from. -
Sounds like you don't have any platform videos, the platform view uses full screen videos as the background.

You can add anything on your system to steam as a "non steam game" Bigbox included of course and launch it from the steam interface.

Lol, well you learn something new everyday, I always went into the edit screen and did it there, that is much quicker. It is available in Bigbox also in the game details screen.

Actually I believe the PDF reader in Bigbox does use the controller, you may just need to set the buttons to your controller in Options/controller.

Is your platform called Nintendo Gamecube in Launchbox? as it has to match. But yeah if you have moved things around that shouldn't of been then do as @CriticalCid said and start from scratch and see if it works when you don't move things.

Yeah controller companion is great, you just need to add a new profile and associate it with a .exe then set all the buttons you want and apply. It will then auto load that profile everytime that .exe is launched, and close that profile when the .exe exits.

The platforms do not have backgrounds, they are fullscreen videos, its the game views that have backgrounds and they should mostly work without you having to do anything, unless you have named your platforms something different than the default names.

Glad you got it all working now, in future though actually read the description for a theme if there is one as everything you have asked in here is already covered by @CriticalCid in the description, or the Tips for Tweaking section at the top of this page.

There is a checkbox in options/views to have different views for different platforms, uncheck it then switch to the correct one and they should all be the same now.
