  1. Yeah that's a good idea, with the older version I ended up with some lets play's at about 2 hours long, and as there is no way to stop a download once started I had to wait for it to download then immediately delete it.
  2. What difference does it make? It will still be the same cost, I am in the UK but have no problem converting Dollars to Pounds. Of course you need to set up controls in the emulators, that is not something bigbox can influence. Controllers work just fine in Launchbox, its only the automation that is in the premium version.
  3. The .cfg files just have 4 lines in them and are very simple. For example here is my Atari 2600 .cfg, you can just rename the file to whatever you want, then inside it just edit the ,png name to whatever image you are wanting to use. Atari2600.cfg
  4. They need both the image and a .cfg, you will need to create the .cfg.
  5. If you just changed the emulator path rather than actually adding a new emulator it should still work. To check though try bulk editing a platform. Click on a game then CTRL A to highlight them all, then CTRL E to open the bulk edit wizard, choose emulator from the first dropdown and Retroarch from the second and finish out the wizard, then test a game in that platform.
  6. I don't have Amiga in my setup, but are you sure there is music for that system?
  7. Its working just fine for me.
  8. You can use the region priorities in the options to specify your preferred region, but if we don't have those images in our database it will full back to other regions rather than giving you no images at all, which makes total sense to me.
  9. Hi Jason, just got this error in Launchbox Next when starting a game. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 10. Try the support channel in our discord server. https://discord.gg/AFxfhnv
  11. Its probably been answered above, but with FX2 you need a cabinet code from the devs to load specific tables. Then just import the .pbx tables as roms setting the fx2.exe as the emulator.
  12. Thing is I don't think those are typical naming policy's are they? goodsnes I have never heard of, and hyperlist is for a different frontend right? One that is much more strict on naming than Launchbox, by there own design. which also makes it more difficult for more casual users to get there games matched up. Not everyone will have exactly correct named roms is what im getting at, but they should still match up with data in the database, unless they are really weirdly named.
  13. Could you plug the PC into a TV for setup? If not you can Email support@unbrokensoftware.com explain the situation and ask for a refund.
  14. Yeah that could well be the issue, to be honest Launchbox is not designed for a crt, Bigbox can run on one with specific themes but Launchbox is a windows application and as such will rely on a higher resolution than a crt, like most windows programs I'm guessing. Do you have another system you could set everything up on then move the hard drive to the system using the crt?
  15. Hi and welcome to the community. Well I have never heard of the tools menu not being there before, that is a first. Have you tried re-installing the latest version directly over the top of your current one?
  16. I know someone else who has a busted nightly as well, so I guess its a thing. You might want to download the stable and copy your files across.
  17. You just point clrmamepro at the mame.exe.
  18. Just right click the game, then expand selected games.
  19. Turn off background videos in the options/Videos section.
  20. You need to switch the view, all themes have more than one view, you can switch it in options/views, or set it to a button and switch on the fly.

    Luanch Games

Check the box for skip game details in the bigbox options.
  22. Well I assumed you was talking about Arcade as you mentioned casino and quiz games. You just need to right click the platform in launchbox and click delete. Or the way @DOS76 said, either way works.
  23. You will have to delete your arcade platform and re-import with the settings you want. You can uncheck all the media downloads this time as you already have it all, so a import should be pretty quick.
  24. The emulator in that set is set to Rocketlauncher, so you would have to tell Rocketlauncher which Retroarch core it should use.
