Yes I am running 1.7.3 just fine myself. Can you click a nes game then ctrl A to highlight the all, then go to tools/change roms folder path and point it at your roms folder. Then see if that works. I think its a path issue somewhere as your games work in Retroarch, the retroarch emulator looks setup correctly and I can personally confirm that 1.7.3 works just fine as that is what I am running.
-
For situations like that you can right click the game and go to edit, then go to the additional apps tab, click on the one you want to launch by default and click the "Make Default" button then that will launch with a normal double click or right click play.
-
Is your retroarch still in the launchbox/emulators folder like the image shows? Because looking at your images everything seems correct, and you say that they work directly in Retroarch so they should also work through Launchbox, unless your emulator or rom paths have been changed since you imported your roms. Did you have Launchbox move the roms on import?
-
Were you previously using a different emulator for those systems?
-
The image behind there is fanart, not background. Maybe create a background folder in the ps3 image folder and copy the fanart to it and test that.
-
you are missing the cores\ part for Saturn, C64 and vectrex.
-
You probably just don't have any background images for those games. Why would you want to use them anyway instead of game boxes or clear logos? Personally I think those sort of images would look bad compared to boxes, but just my opinion.

If you now have your games working through retroarch then there is no reason they wont work through Launchbox. Have you moved or renamed them at all since you imported them? Also is Retroarch using the beetle core under associated platforms tab? The core is called beetle but its actually called mednafen_saturn if you look in the core folder, so that's what you want in there.

Yeah if you look on the first page of this thread I posted a image of mine and they were the same as that, iso/wav/cue and those didn't work, so that sounds like your issue. Once I downloaded a set with cue/bin everything worked just fine.
-
Both the previous version and the new one you released are working just fine for me, using Launchbox 8.3 beta 4 and windows 10 64bit fully up to date. However I do notice in that image posted that the folder is called YouTube-0.0.7 mine is just called YoutubeScraper, could that be the issue? My previous version was named like that also and worked.
-
For me the issue was the games, they were all in the wrong format, I downloaded a different pack and that fixed it. Your games should be .cue and .bin and you import the .cues into launchbox, and if loading directly from Retroarch again you load the .cue not the .bin.

Well I use 3D boxes for every system, so I use these for Arcade as well so everything looks unified. I don't like having 2D and 3D boxes mixed in together, Thanks for the update @Robin55

On the last page of the import wizard is a checkbox to force import using MAME data for non MAME systems, check that box and you will get the screen you want after.
-
It is working just fine for me on beta 4. Are you sure Bigbox has actually loaded when you press a button? Because if it hasn't then it wont skip as there is nothing to skip to.

Can't use third party Xbox One Controller
neil9000 replied to ConnorBlair1996's topic in Troubleshooting
You have to setup your controller inside of whatever emulator you are trying to use for the games you are running. As I said Launchbox has to control over what the emulators do control wise, so open the emulator and set your controls up in it first, then run a game.- 8 replies

You need to setup your controller in the emulators to control games, Launchbox has no control over that.- 8 replies

Things have changed since then, the option you are looking for is no longer there, also you now make a folder called startup in the videos folder and put your startups in there, they can be named anything and if you have more than one it will choose a random one.

Video download disappeared off scraping options

Those are emumovies right? Platform videos are from us, but snaps are emumovies. -
@Jason Carr the above post was fixed for the user in the discord when I noticed reference to the add to games database plugin. I asked him to remove it and test, and he says everything is fine now. So could one of the betas broke the plugin again? Or just a weird one off? @UnderwoodNC

You wont get anywhere near that many imported, it will be less than 3000 when imported.
-
If you haven't already imported your mame set there is a checkbox in the wizard that is checked as default to create them. If you have already imported and just have the arcade platform you can use the tools/create missing playlists option.

Tools/create missing playlists.

Yeah that's OK, if its only going to download smaller files then a UI isn't really needed as they only take a handful of seconds to download anyway, it was just a issue when it was downloading really long videos that could be over a GB in size.
