I would just like to add, I'm not a forum person, never have been, those places creep me out a bit. I joined here so I could access the downloads section, and look at me now. 534 posts, and 138 likes, such a wonderful community. -

I have so many mame roms in there now, consolidation was heaven sent. It was such a mess previously that I deleted a lot of them. -

Glad you are all up and running now @Patham after some initial headaches. -
Also, unless you exclude it, whenever you turn your antivirus back on, it will automatically delete the files again.
-
Try this thread. If its not already covered just ask there and I'm sure someone will help you.
-
I take it after your reply that you are using a antivirus of some kind? With all due respect if you are on windows 7 or greater then you don't really need it, the built in antivirus has far less false positives than anything else. This software is 100% virus free, but crappy antivirus solutions don't do the job properly and flag and delete all sorts of legitimate programs.
-
I just spoke to Jason, and he said he only ever see's that when a shitty antivirus deletes the files, you don't need to re download, go to your launchbox folder, and there is a update folder, sort by date so newest is 1st and reinstall that.
-
Turn off your antivirus, and try again.
-
If all your roms and emulators are in the launchbox folder, then yes you can just move the folder.
-
Yeah just set launchbox as your frontend in rocket launcher instead of hyperspin.
-
OK, cool just a thought.
-
Was just thinking, may or may not work. you could try the general joypad setup without a core loaded, and run through the prompts and when it asks for up, down, left, and right on the right stick try using the four buttons instead.
-
Now that's a tricky one, I have just looked at retroarch and yes c buttons are mapped to right stick by default or on the four face buttons via another button to toggle. I don't see any way to remap the c buttons without also still having to use the toggle button as well. Shame really. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
