  1. That is a HUGE amount of scaling, any reason why you have it so high? You are essentially running Windows at 720p with that high a scaling setting, which is quite a waste of a 4K screen. I am running my 4K screen at 150% scaling which works out at 1440p, and that works fine. And set to 200% which is 1080p, I do see the same as you at 300% 720p, but ill be honest and say it looks awful everything is so pixelated, especially text, quite a waste of a good screen if you ask me.
  2. Have you deleted the actual beta update file from Launchbox/Updates, as it may be that that is corrupted, not your actual install.
  3. There are dedicated programs that can use DAT files to check your romsets, thats not really the job of a Frontend.
  4. Depends what you mean really, if you want to "Upscale" the graphics so that they look better on a modern display, then you would need a Graphics Card to do that, likewise if you wanted to use shaders in Retroarch that would also require a Graphics Card, older systems only use the CPU, so that has to be a fast one, but any system that is 3D really does need a Graphics Card.
  5. OK thanks, this is why we ask for specifics, much more helpful, ill pass it on.
  6. Game theme videos? In which case we do not provide those, they usually come from emumovies, are you sure its us and not them?
  7. i dont have a CRT, so i cant say anything to that specifically, but it sounds like your settings for the cores you are launching are different from when you just load the UI without a core/game loaded. So i would start there, load a game in a core and check the video settings to make sure its fullscreen, and whether you are or are not using interger scaling (as i'm not sure what if anything that does on a CRT). Maybe i can bug @Lordmonkus or @Retro808for a little info as i think they have messed with Retroarch on a CRT before.
  8. Yeah thats why i say try the normal version, its possible that the play store version has limitations that stop other apps giving it instructions, which is what a Frontend like Launchbox is doing. Opening a rom from inside Retroarch is a very different thing than a external program telling Retroarch to start, and with a specific core, and a path to a rom file. Do other systems work, and its just NeoGeo? Also you dont have Launchbox unzipping the roms do you?
  9. Is Retroarch plus the version on the play store? Cause that may be the issue, have you tried sideloading the Retroarch from there official site? I remember they had to change things recently due to google, so i'd try with the actual normal Retroarch from there website, as it may be a issue related to that specific version you are using.
  10. Demul is old and no longer updated, it's not recommended for Dreamcast these days, Redream and the Flycast core in Retroarch are far better choices.
  11. I linked this thread in our moderator discord earlier today, but its still early, and a Sunday where he is, so hopefully he gets to it at some point.
  12. Maybe you should state what emulator you are using, and with what settings, also the specs of your PC would help. Dreamcast is relatively straight forward, and i would recommend the standalone Redream emulator as its easy to use and should "just work" out of the box.
  13. Did you specify the correct core to load in the Associated Platforms tab? Is the platform in question there at all?
  14. You can do it yourself in your account settings.
  15. Its magnet only, how are you adding that to your seedbox via a web based interface?
  16. Cause it is It's also not a official plugin. Unfortunately that is the way plugins go, they are made, and abandoned.
  17. Are you saying Horizon Zero Dawn is opening GOG?
  18. Have you edited that theme at all, as the literall first error is it cant find things? Secondly, what @Retro808 asked, external or format type?
  19. Yes is did/does, that has always been the case. It has also always been the case that you can do it by system, but i believe it is know more "visible" that you can. You have always been able to use CTRL-A or CTRL left click, and then run it.
  20. After the re-import is it still the same "rom file does not exist error"? When you import what do you have Launchbox do with the roms move/copy or leave them where they are? Can you right click one of the games that doesnt work, go to edit, and post images of the Launching and Emulation tabs, Thanks.
  21. GOG Galaxy will only open if you are using a GOG game, or it was imported into the GOG platform maybe? @C-Beats may be able to answer that one? Do you have a example though of a game that does this? What game, can we see a image of the path to it in Launchbox, and also a image of the actual games folder might help, just to see if it is actually a GOG game that you just didnt actually buy from them.
  22. That's actually off by default these days, thank god, it gave a horrible first impression when loading a game for the first time. Agreed, thats why i would like to see a image, as it just might be native res for the system being run.
  23. Maybe when you can take a screenshot of what you are actually seeing when you get a chance, so we can better understand, as Retroarch should just detect your native resolution when it starts, and i have never seen systems look lower resolution than they actually are. As Chris said though, yeah check in settings that retroarch is set to the correct resolution.
  24. That is by design, you are using the "fullset importer" that requires you to have a fullset to import, as the name suggests. If you only want to import a couple of roms just use the standard rom importer, although i'm not sure how that works with clones. If you only want to pick out roms from a set you should use "Non-Merged" sets, in that set each rom is a working game and doesnt rely on other game zips to run.
