  1. I do not use Project 64, but Just tested and it is working fine in BigBox. A google search of the exact error brings up some older PJ64 forum posts advising to make sure Direct X is updated properly. Even saw similar posts in a Steam forum thread. I know in your other post you said it runs in Launchbox so not sure why for you it is not working in BigBox. Could be something unique with your set-up and BigBox. Have you made sure Direct X on your machine is updated?
  2. If you are using a theme that uses game backgrounds it looks for the background image. If none is present then it will depend on what your image priority is you set for backgrounds in Launchbox.
  3. That epr file I am sure you know is a bios file. Demul I believe uses the mame bios files. I know the 07 build does, not sure if the 07a does as well. If you have a full mame romset you can try and use the naomi.zip and naomi2.zip files from it. Just place the full naomi.zip and naomi2.zip files into the bios folder where you have demul pointed. Looks like maybe the bios file you have is not compatible. I cannot answer the question on the Riecast core as I do not use it. Never really messed with it much.
  4. @Whitestrake1967 Try putting this into the AutoHotKey tab of the edit emulator option in Launchbox. Go to Tools>Manage Emulators and then edit Nesoptia. In the AHK Tab paste the code below. Although LB/BB should not actually need an AHK to close Nestopia. $Esc::WinClose, ahk_exe nestopia.exe
  5. 1. Once you have the clear logo image you want to use for your playlist the logo needs to be named exactly as the playlist is. Example: Top 100 (Playlist name) = Top 100.png (Image name) (or .jpg whatever your file extension is). 2. Then place the image in the correct folder if you have your image folder outside of the default. The Default folder will be \Launchbox\Images\Playlist\[Your Playlist Name]\Clear Logo folder. 3. Once you add the new image then go into BigBox and refresh the image cache. That is really all you need to do.
  6. You will need to go into Launchbox >tools>options and in the updates section make sure you check the tick box for Betas. I would also recommend to not have the tick box for download in background checked. It will apply the beta update over your existing set-up. It will not make any changes to your data and imports. If the next beta fixes your issue and you no longer want to text betas just uncheck that box.
  7. Anytime you add new images make sure you go into the settings menu in BigBox and refresh the image cache. Otherwise the cache will populate old image data.
  8. This was just a quick edit of one of the Startup Themes I made. So nothing perfect, just showing it should be easy to make . I do not think I will take the time to create all the unique controller layouts for the platforms, but if someone already had them and wants to share I can make a theme to post.
  9. You should not need to change the theme video path. Since it is a subfolder of the video structure all Launchbox needs to know is the location of the main video folder for the platform. Just tested by completely removing the NES videos from Launchbox folder and placing on E: drive. Only changed the video path in manage platforms and the theme video played without issue.
  10. In Launchbox go to Tools>Manage Emulators. Find your Demul emulator in the box that pops up and edit it. In the Associated platforms tab enter the command lines that are in pic above. The platform name needs to also be entered, but make sure the name you enter is how the name of the platform appears in your Launchbox setup. So however you named the Dreamcast platform make sure that is how you enter the name there. Also I think you need to make sure the check box on the first tab for before Rom is checked.
  11. Looking good @Mr. RetroLust ?
  12. Did you set the proper command lines in Launchbox edit emulator fields?
  13. I know during beta, testing was pretty consistent in not showing exit issues with the new startup screens and me. I do not recall anyone really having issues with mame. I could be wrong though. What version mame are you using? Command line or something like MameUI or Arcade64? Does this happen as well in Launchbox?
  14. Version 1.0.0

    592 downloads

Second stab at a theme. This one will use a static background image for each platform when a game is launched. So it does not use fan art from each game. The images are those supplied in the BigBox Unified and Unified Redux themes. So I claim no credit to any images. I only copied them over from those themes. Credit to @Jason Carr and @CriticalCid for those themes. I claim no credit to any artwork displayed or included in the theme. If you know the creator please mention so I may credit. IMPORTANT: Launchbox 9.2 or higher required for Startup Themes. Version 1.0.0 Startup Theme: has a header style framed banner that will display "Now Loading..." (text color does change by platform. I used common brand colors or as close to), the game's clear logo, and the platform's clear logo. Main field will display 3D Box, Screenshot, and Cart or Spinning Disc (for CD based games) are in the main view. IMPORTANT: Make sure you set your image priorities in Launchbox for these categories. Also set backup images in case you are missing image types for a game. Shutdown Theme: uses a static image in its current default state with the words "Thank you for playing..." displayed. You can use any static image you want. However, please note the text in the default one is scaled to a size to fit in the background image's marquee. There is an alternate Shutdown xml file that will be pretty generic. The Shutdown text in that one is in the middle of the screen and would be better for those preferring their own image. There are read me files in the folders with simple steps to change the shutdown. If you prefer use the game specific backgrounds and games images in the shutdowns I will be uploading a version of this theme that will use the game fanart backgrounds. Installation: 1. Download the Framed Platform_Static Background v1.0.0.zip file and unzip it into the Launchbox\StartupThemes\ folder. 2. Install the supplied font. 3. In Launchbox go to Tools>Options>Game Startup and choose the appropriate named theme. I will be adding more platform xml files in an update after the holiday. There is probably about 100 in there now.

  16. Its pretty easy to do. As long as your tankstick is plugged in just open a game in mame and hit tab on your wireless keyboard. You will see options to set input for general use and for machine (game specific). Just move up or down to each control option. Choose a control to map and hit enter on your keyboard then hit the correspondong button on the tankstick for the control. It will allow you to set player 1 and player 2 controls. I would set the general inputs (universal) first and not game specific. You will have to look around in the options as things for coin 1, coin 2, and setting your button options to exit mame are in a different menu.
  17. @Example Is there a particular emulator this happens with? I do not think anyone in the beta threads mentioned anything like this. It should not be affected by the theme code as the code only displays the images. It is not the actual code to startup and shutdown the transition between the frontend and the emulator.
  18. Did you test the Tankstick outside of Launchbox? Since the Tankstick replicates keystrokes just open a text document and hit buttons to see if they register. You could also try turning the NUMLOCK button on and see if that helps. Not sure how old your Tankstick is, but the NUMLOCK thing is something they have on their site. I used to have to use it until I updated the internals and got a newer board.
  19. @Boomerps2 Unfortunately per Jason Startup/Shutdown screens will not be compatible with Rocket Launcher for the time being. Turning them off for now if you are going to keep using RL is your best course. I do not think Jason mentioned anytime frame for possible compatibility "for the time being" so it does appear to be something he will eventually add. You can read his direct post on it in this beta thread. Look for his third post on this page.
  20. What mame are you running? Command line mame or one of the offshoots like MameUI or Arcade64?
  21. @Lprong Working ok here with PCSX2.
