Thanks for the quick replies Ive looked at my display scaling and its at 100% the resolution Im on though is 1366 x 768 my cheap monitor unfortunately wont accept a higher resolution could this be the issue?

This didn't work sadly, but worth a try thank you

@CriticalCid anyone using a 40 odd inch screen or higher running 1920x1080p will 99% be using 150% Display scaling as reccomended otherwise HTPC setups are unreadable, any chance you could include official alternate font size files in the Themes folder? Would be a very nice touch :)

I'm using a 46" TV and have my scale set to 100%. No problem for me to read anything at all ;)

But I just tested what @DOS76 recommended and it works perfectly fine:

If anyone doesn't want to change their scale they could try going into the BigBox.exe properties go to the compatibility tab and turn off DPI scaling. I haven't tested this but it may have some effect and if not it's easy to turn back off.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy that you guys like Horizontal Wheel 3 so much! That beast took me quite a few hours until everything was set in place so great to know that it was worth it :)

@Machello have you tried the performance boost tips I mention in point V of the download description?

Did some tweaking some while back. Will look into the tips and report back!

I did a few modifactions to the Horizontal Wheel 3. It now features more game details, larger info icons and the description box is now the same size as the details box. I would like to ask you which version do you prefer more:

Yes, it will be included in one of the next LaunchBox betas. I will inform you when it’s released.

Looking great Cid! Do you think you will add any more vertical wheel views?

Eventually, I just didn’t come up with new ideas for new vertical views yet. If you have something particular in your mind than go ahead and tell me about it, if I like the idea I will consider to create it :)

You’re right, that doesn’t work. It seems that you have to restart your PC first in order to see the scale changes in BigBox. BigBox just took my old value of 100% instead of the newly set 150% when I was testing it earlier. So I tested it again and after I had restarted my PC was BigBox set to 150% as well…

I will add a modified version of this particular view for 150% in the next update.

I like the old one better :-).

My PC's specs are:

Intel Core i7-4700MQ @ 2.4 GHz
8 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX765M

Main disk is 128 gb SSD, running LB/BB from 2nd disk which is HDD (laptop 5400 rpm). Have set cache in LB @ 3gb.

I am moving LB/BB to the SSD now, maybe it will run there better. Will let you know in half an hour...

EDIT: Even on my ssd disk it's slow... I really want to fix this so I can use your theme :D

Prefer the old one. The cartridge takes too much space and shrink the description. And I don't think we need so much informations about the rom file in itself (source, status, platform (we already know which platform we have chosen))

Hope you'll provide both versions to make our choice ;)

CriticalZone 1.7 released!

Your current version will automatically get updated if you update your LaunchBox installation to the newest beta version v7.6 Beta-3.

CZ 1.7 features 2 completely new games Views and a lot of performance improvements! If the theme or certain Views of it were lagging for you in the past give it another try and see if the theme now performance smoother for you :)

CriticalZone Changelog:

v1.7 - LB v7.6 (01/26/2017)
- Added: Two new “Horizontal Wheel” views for games were added.
- Fixed: Various performance improvements.
	- Removed the DropShadow effects for all details and description texts
	- Replaced almost all "SelectedGame" properties with the newly added "ActiveGame" properties
	- Changed the RenderBias of all elements from "Quality" to "Performance"
	- Optimized the "VisibleCount" value of the CoverFlow element in all Wheel Views
- Updated: The margin between all metadata logos (ESRB, Favorite, etc.) is now unified across all Views.
- Updated: The glass bar in the “Vertical Wheel Games View 2” was made slightly bigger; it now takes roughly a third of the whole screen width.

The 2 new Views:
