Hey everyone. Recently, I've learned how to do API calls/requests to the RA API server to get a list of all linked hashes for every supported platform and because of that, I'm currently restructuring all the DATs so that it'll be easier for me to add, change and remove linked hashes from the DATs more often and more accurately. As a result, I won't be releasing any updates for the next 1 to 2 months, give or take. Thanks for your patience and support.5 points

Thanks for the list! Reading through it I did notice you had Mattel intelliviison listed, and that one is actually already done. The Magnavox Odyssey is not however. I figured it was just a typo but thought I'd mention just incase! Thats a pretty solid list though and maybe I'll tackle some of them in the future. Thanks again!3 points

Heya ABeezy! First off, thanks for your collections and contributions to cart fronts and boxes, they are all fantastic quality and some of the best out there. Perhaps there's some confusion on the purpose of this particular application and how it works, however I originally never intended to provide templates, and instead the intention was for people to provide their own so they can have the carts look however they like. I included some random templates I already had in different resolutions and qualities as examples for people to test with. Whether you think removing a watermark for my personal use is in poor taste or not is up to you. However, based on your comments you seem to be confused as to how this actually works and why the templates are edited as they are. This isn't a collection of anything, this is literally a image compositing tool and the templates are edited to best work with the application. I am working on a newer version of the app and will be including more templates, which of course the original concepts of will be fully credited if applicable. Thanks!3 points

Actually, I got you. I used a standard jewel case template for a few japanese games on the PS1 3D set. That used a black tray insert though, but with some tinkering I made a white insert version. The template still includes the default black tray insert, but I think all Japanese PC Engine CD games used the white inserts. Btw, you can skip the USA TurboGrafx CD games if you want. I just made a 2D set (with spines) for all of those. I just have to 3D box them, but I am also working on regular TurboGrafx 16 boxes. Also, take note that some PC Engine Games use a double disc case, even though there were no multi disc games released for the system. Playstation 1 did the same for a few single discs for some reason. One example I can think of off the top of my head is the game Vasteel. For both the Japanese and USA releases, a double disc case was used. But no worries, I will include a template for that as well. Good luck. The annoying, hard part isnt collecting all the 2D front images, its finding decent images of the spines. Single-Disc-Case-JAP.psd Double-Disc-Case.psd3 points

It´s true. Yo can see it with GAME GEAR real 3d boxes. Are very hard to find (scans, etc). I have found a template to make G Gear missing boxes. Super Famicom 3d Boxes are very dificult to find. Now I am working on SNES PAL VERSION with a template of @WallyWonka (both sides). I am working with hi res images but the creator forgot the TM on super nes logo and the flower. I am puttin manually but i need a vectors with those logos.3 points

I didn't use a template, although I guess there may be a suitable psd out there for Photoshop or such. Step 1: I used Imandix CoverPro to make the 3d boxes from the 2d full scan, with the "DVD: 10 box" option and a PNG Export of 900 x 1090. Step 2: I added the 3d boxes as a layer to a 650 x 1020 transparent image in Paint.Net. Positioned, cropped and auto-aligned, and saved the flattened pngs as the final 3d boxes.2 points

Golly! Ghost! is now 100% operational. The problem was that some of the activation switch values were deprecated. To update the artwork, I also had to modify some of Mr. RetroLust's PNGs. I'm pretty proud of the result. Please note that guns must be calibrated before each game. Instructions on how to do this can be found at the end of the LAY file.2 points

Values represent pixels. 1. One way to do it is with Paint.Net open your image point to top left corner of bezel starting point and look at bottom right corner of P.N where it says X/Y that is starting point. Move mouse down to bottom right end of image bezel and look at point values again. That is end point. -Problem with this is that it only gives basic points. Because duckstation stretches on specific formats 4:3,16:9 etc. So your bezel needs to adhere to that format. -This values are also not perfectly correct due to formatting. You will need to do some manual correction. 2. Start a game any game in duck , Open settings in duckstation and leave it open. Now make DS fullscreen. Alt/Tab to settings tab. Click custom , load your bezel and start clicking and writing values in custom tabs to move and reposition image. Look at image i attached as guideline One of easiest ways to get proper empty space in your bezel is to take screenshot of the game in fullscreen (without bezel) and add to image editing tool as overlay on top of your bezel, position it to perfect center. Cut space in your bezel where screenshot image is and in theory it should fit P.S There is a bug in duck with Export button in border. It will write ImagePath: instead of Image: inside .YML file. So edit the file and change that2 points

I'm in mostly the same boat. I too cannot use my custom Startup or Shutdown, as well as Pause Screen I created in CTC in LAUNCHBOX However, these same exact Startup, Shutdown, and Pause screens work fine in Big Box. It took me a min to figure out what was going on. When I would launch a game within LaunchBox and my custom Startup/Shutdown theme is being used, it sat there indefinitely like I didn't click anything. The game wouldn't launch, and the Startup Screen would never pop up. I made a separate LB install piecing it back up to end up discovering it was triggered by adding a CTC made Startup/Shutdown theme. The Pause screen is an empty black screen when I try to use the CTC made Pause screen in LB. So, I use the default theme in LB for Startup/Shutdown and Pause screens. But like your situation they all work in BB. I would def appreciate it if the issue was addressed so they could work in LB too.2 points

Alrighty, for now I took care of #1. I've uploaded a new version (Eclipse.v.0.0.019) which has a new setting for the selected game details padding. You can access that setting via launchbox from Tools > Manage Eclipse on the Margin tab: The default value is 0 and the game details will be the same size as they were in version 18 of the plugin. Setting it to a value of 5 will look something like this: Setting it to a value of 10 will make the details really small: As for number 2, I will play around with it a bit more but for now the notes look really out of place to me so I will think on it. In the meantime, the source code is available so anyone is more than welcome to edit it to create a new version that shows the details however they see fit. For number 3, it is coded to use a video if available and if not it takes the background image and if no background image is available for a game then it will use the game's screenshot image. Here's an example of a game in my library that has no video and no background image but it does have a screenshot image: Are you not seeing screenshots when missing videos because you are seeing the prioritized background images? Were you saying you prefer to prioritize the screen shots over the background images or you're not seeing them at all?2 points

I do in fact fix the creases and folds up along with other small blemishes (there is a chance I miss a few here and there, I am human). I like my sets as if they were new and not used and beat up; so basically pristine condition.. I have a "highlight/crease" along the edge where the art would fold around the spine of the box. That person is an obvious troll. One post and it was that one. Sounds like a miserable human who needs to find a better hobby. Thanks for the support as always tho froggy2 points

I've added a new feature (option) that will have "pick a different title" always available. Even when an exact match is found. It will be there for both single and bulk searches. So not a bug. Just a feature that wasn't there. Also changed how it tries to match the games. It'll attempt to match the title AND year (vs just the title). This should help reduce the need to 'pick a different title'. Note, when you search for WWF Royal Rumble (1993), the Grids are still going to have both SNES and Sega Genesis images.2 points

Version 2.2.0 released Changed: When saving HLTB times to Custom Fields, ones that don't have a time available will now be left blank, no longer saving as "No Times Available". Fixed: When double-clicking a skipped game (after bulk import), platforms with a dash ('-') in the name would not be found. Improvement: Better matching to the games actual platform when searching for HLTB times. Improvement: Faster Bulk-Import. New Feature: Select which times to save to Custom Fields (Default is all 3: Main Story, Main + Extras, Completionist) (Tools < HLTB Viewer - Settings) New Feature: Added hyperlink to HLTB's site for the selected game. (via Right-Click, start plugin for single game) New: The game Title actually found on HLTB is now shown in the Status field. Big thanks to @Tayley for the comments and suggestions on Discord!2 points
