No I think it will be fine but I really don't know I've seen the 4K demos at the electronics stores only really and they make sure they are always showing you the amazing looking 4K demo videos. I imagine though if they didn't show the other resolutions decently that the consumers would be out with their pitch forks (on the internet of course) blasting the TVs and warning the public not to buy them. Their are already nah sayers on 4K anyway here are 3 fairly recent articles (are they still considered articles when on the web) that may help you out. If you have an emulator that supports 4k then those games will be in 4K. If the emulator doesn't the TV will just scale it back to the resolution the emulator supports. The majority of broadcast media isn't even in 4K yet so you will most likely only be using the 4K in limited amounts until it is more heavily supported by the content creators.

You may have just had to update your image cache.

These are more of the type thing that @Jason Carr should be able to help you with he is a busy man and if he hasn't gotten around to seeing this it may have fallen through the cracks but it isn't anything intentional hopefully he will see this post soon so he can try to help you out.

Aren't the borders in the EU basically like the borders in the US and citizen can travel between member nations the same way we travel between our states.

If you never added the other disks as additional apps and you imported them before they switched to the new system then you won't have them. Also there are naming and folder conventions that they have to follow in order to be picked up and add as the 2nd disc during the import.

Right click the 1st disc go to edit go to the additional app tab and create a new additional app that points to the 2nd disc check the run with emulator checkbox save it now when you right click the disc the 2nd disc will be in the context menu and you can now remove the 2nd disc from LB

Yes that can be a huge issue I had issues with my drives spinning down and disconnecting on my server and it was wrecking havoc on my data storage and creating tons of lost and fragmented files it was a firmware issue with my drive boxes and I had to flash them with a tool get them to working properly again. You should get a new cable and not use the drive while it is having these issues.

Okay I edited a platform and it is indeed in the backup folder the issue is unless you make a change to the platform it doesn't seem to do an initial backup of your platforms as I just added a few different arcade boards for Demul and they don't have a back up.

RA Android only works with the MAME4All set which is really old or at least that was the version it used to be on last I heard.

I just use RA with a shader. Video is an extremely subjective matter and what I like you may not care for. I play all of my games in 16:9 wide screen which I know many people hate so if that isn't your preference from the bat that would eliminate my settings.

This thread has me somewhat concerned I looked through @StuDentBR backup folder and it seems that LB is no longer making backups for your platforms and he had about 6 platform xml files that went corrupt This means you could easily lose your platforms and need to reimport a large number of games. If there are no plans to backup the platforms maybe this should be made more public so users can choose to back up their Data\Platform on their own. I have some installs with over 40 systems and I would hate to have to add them all again. I just double checked my backups and I have one backup for Arcade and a few for my NoFiller platform but none of my other platforms are backed up I still have a bunch of LB.xml backups do I really need them still or the original file at all or is it able to be deleted now?

Rename your Metadata folder then run LB it should create a new one run the Download metadata and Images wizard from tools choose to use the DB then don't choose to download any images as you should still have your in your folder see if that works You may be able to do this from all games since you are only trying to get the meta it should run very quickly.

try removing that folder in the metadata

These actually look amazing and I hope someone with some skills jumps on this looks much nicer than the regular disc images

I had to change a few and add the ending tags for a few lines. I had to remove an additional app because I didn't know how the rest of the code finished for a PS1 or PS2 game and had to delete a Lunar game entry in PSP but it is now launching successfully.
