I noticed that you typed -g-f it needs to be -g -f with the space don't know if it is just a typo in your post (actually in 2nd look I'm not sure you don't have the space there).

I don't have 1.6.1 yet I just checked their page and it still is listing 1.6.0 as the public release. My settings are the -g -f

    XML edit

Here is the scenario I found myself in for changing paths in the XML the other day and this is the 1st time it didn't involve game paths I had LB on a 250GB SSD and it only had about 11GB of free space and almost all of it was LB so I moved it to another drive and afterwards none of my media would show up upon looking closer I found that all of the path in Manage Platforms where all absolute paths. So I opened the Platforms XML and used find and replace to change them all which is a four step process since you have to do Images, Videos, Music and Manuals in order to change all the paths. I also had Platform videos that wouldn't play despite them being in the proper folder and turning off the random video options in BB but it still kept playing the same game videos over and over here somehow 5 or 6 of my platforms had specific game videos paths entered in the Video Path so I had to edit that part of the XML too but after fixing it up everything is good again.
  7. I'm not 100% sure it may have to be in a sub folder but I'm not positive.
  8. How you switch the disc is going to be determined by the emulator since that is where you will be doing it so if your emulator of choice makes it easy to switch discs then it shouldn't be hard but some emulators don't have the feature built into it and it is virtually impossible to switch discs in game. @ckp alll of your games should import in the same way your Dreamcast games did but only if they are in the same folder and named correctly
  9. To change paths 1st close LB then go into your LB folder from there go to the Data folder and find the XML that you want to edit. Open that XML with NotePad++ and go to Search on the menu bar. From the context list that appears select Find this will open a new form. In the text box on the form type in your current path and click the count button. This should show you how many items that it finds. If if correctly finds your items then click the replace tab and type in the new path for your ROM files. Click the replace all button save your work in NP++ and exit the program. Open LB and test out your new paths. For safety purposes you should backup which ever XML file it is you are going to work with before attempting to make any changes so you can easily revert back if something isn't working properly
  10. @Antropusthanks for that link I'm looking at a few different solutions now this looks promising.
  11. I never mentioned the $50 now option at all but after the 1st year is up I believe the option to pay an additional $30 will get you a lifetime license and that is after you get to use it for a year 1st so by then you will have an idea or not of whether or not you want to invest the additional money into the program.
  12. I would say that after the 1st year if you aren't willing to put up the $30 for the lifetime then you probably aren't going to pay for the renewal at all and waiting 5 years to get $60 is a long wait.
  13. I don't collect anything but is $500 actually a reasonable price for 34 games without boxes or manuals and an NES if so now I see why I don't collect the prices are outrageous. I see that you do have the Mario series Zelda and Castlevania which are big titles for the system which I'm sure will help you out. Good luck with this I have a feeling you are going to need it to get the price you are asking.
  14. The simplest way to do this is to close LB and move your ROMs into the appropriate platform folder inside of your Games folder. Once you have the games where you want them open Notepad++ and go to the search option on the menu bar then select find. This will open a small form in the text box that is supplied type in the original path of one of your platforms after that use the count button to make sure that it finds all of your entries. If the count comes up good then go to the replace tab on the form and type in the platforms new path and then hit the replace all button. Save your work and open LB and see if the platform is working with the new path and if it is then close LB and repeat for as many platforms that you have make sure you back up your Data folder before making the changes this way if something goes wrong you can quickly revert to your install before you made any changes.
  15. They look amazing like all the work you do here @viking
  16. The fact that the rpx file is usually not even in the games root directory but in a subfolder should help to complicate the matter even further.
  17. Try running a chkdsk or other diagnostic on your drive make sure it isn't experiencing problems also you can look in EventViewer and see if there are any system errors being reported.
  18. The volume level is set to 0 turn it up.
  19. If you switch out of list view do you still get the issue? I tested the latest beta and it is working fine in the default view.
  20. I use this it is great for cartridge based games as you guessed but I have very limited experience with it using disc systems I've tried to run some PS1 games on it but due to space limitations I tried to utilize the games from a network storage location and either the streaming of the games via WIFI or the fact the PC can't handle them made for a very subpar experience.
  21. See where is says Atari 7800 and it says -L "cores\MESS_libretro.dll" you have to change that to say _L "cores\prosystems_libretro.dll"
  22. I'm having an issue where I just added a bunch of the Cinematic 1080P videos and many of them are working great but I have some platforms that keep showing the same random games instead of the platform so I went into setting and changed the option to show random games when no platform video is found to off then restarted BB but it still didn't work it shows the same videos and not the Cinematic ones
  23. No Filter being used by LB itself but maybe the content creators do it that way when they create the images so if the image doesn't exist for the 3D box that is why you don't get it. Your idea seems interesting depending how good it ended up looking though and the ability to save space would probably be appreciated by everyone.
  24. 7800 uses the ProSystems core but LB may have MESS as the default emulator so you would have to change it
