LB doesn't actually install on your computer so if you plug the drive in it should work on any Windows 7-10 PC

The game names also come from the database so that is why they aren't translated.

You were warned because you offered to fill a hdd with copyrighted material and send it to someone else making profit or not doesn't make it any less illegal and that in itself was the issue. If you were living up to your user name anything like that would have been discussed in private and then there wouldn't have been any warning.

yeah I don't believe that any of the information from the database gets translated only the information that is part of the program by default so when you scrape games the info is only going to show in English. I've seen French users mention this before on the forums.

the button combo doesn't work in MAME as it doesn't accept simulated keyboard presses it is however very easy to set your own button combo inside of MAME just load a game go to the tab menu then into Input general, User interface and assign a combo to UI cancel.

I got this working some time ago. I think in order to use the disc switching you have to set a directory location for file browser in RA settings under directories. It was some time ago though so I may not be remembering correctly. I went to the RetroArch discord and they hooked me up with a solution.

If you don't have the games detail pane turned off in the BB settings then they should show as an option to launch there

As of right now it is just the arcade stuff. Adding support for the software lists is planned though so it will support those in the future.

If you have windows 10 hit ctl+s and type in Device Manager find your USB hubs and go into the properties if there is a power option make sure to set it so Windows can't turn the device off

I do just this with my setup but I'm using Windows Server for my network storage. I would imagine that if you can either access the files through File Explorer in Windows via either mapping a network drive or using the computer name then you can do it too if it requires something like SMB then I'm not sure if it's possible.

I've seen this on peoples computers running older versions of Windows 10 that only support up to version 4.6 of .net framework but this is new try running this tool to fix it and also you can hit ctrl+r to open a run box and type in winver and verify that you are on 1803. not sure on that haven't messed with it in a while I believe Gaelco had issues with the dx11 new plugin but worked with the old plugin. I know some people like the old plugin better so if you find that suitable then you could just use it for all the systems. This was all before that build you are using so never really tested it out with it and it may not be an issue any longer.

1 yes also Cave and Dreamcast games 2 It's obscure and only has a few games 3 Yes that should work and yes they should remain zipped. 4 You can put them where ever you want in the settings there is an option to let you set your games directory and it excepts multiple paths. Its not hard to set up at all. 5 That I don't know about.

The only thing that I'm sure on in this one is that LB isn't able to adjust the speed that games run. Most likely it is in the emulator but I don't use Higan so can't really say.

well if its the beta prompt just open LB and see if it lets you run the update and then next time you open BigBox it shouldn't prompt you again.

at one point the project forked and now it has been merged back together so technically the standalone is just MAME now. Using the MESS side of MAME is actually pretty simple to do and it is much more up to date then any builds of the emulator. I do know that the UI version is complied for MESSUI though every month.

Actually now you should get the MAME 0.202 set and it really doesn't matter if it is split, merged or non merged any longer LB should support them all the same.
