  1. @Vloshko I am going to highly recommend you tone down your snarky attitude or you will be given a vacation from the forums. Being "Israeli which makes you blunt" or being a "nerd" is not an excuse for the way you are coming across here on the forums. You are coming off quite arrogant and confrontational which is not appreciated here.
  2. There are none, even the stand alone Mame doesn't emulate them well though it is getting better.
  3. If people want box art and a couple of others the devs posted a Google Drive to some here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HdaoafqKWUaUX-I8fGI2qZcDVbgUdCqx/view
  4. I have a very old system and I have detailed it in the BigBox Performance thread but it does have a semi decent GPU in it (1 gig DDR5 vram) and BigBox runs reasonably well with it if I tweak it for performance. The system only has 2 gigs of ram and a very old AMD CPU. Also, Jason has said many times that a GPU is beneficial in BigBox. Now of course the entire system as a whole does matter but a shitty system with a reasonable GPU will work fine.
  5. @ninja2bceen dude, this is not a feature request thread and it's not like Christian will just go off and implement any old feature he wants to based on his whims. It's still Jasons product and he is Jasons employee. I'm sorry but this whole post of yours is just coming off as a "hey new guy, make this stuff i want now" kind of thing and not really appreciated.
  6. Any modern CPU is fine, it really doesn't matter for Launchbox but more ram and a graphics card that is not Intel on board video is highly recommended. For ram I would recommend at least 8 gigs minimum, some themes can use a lot of memory while others are very light. A dedicated video card is highly recommended and preferred but an AMD Ryzen G series CPU/APU is fine but anything with Intel on board graphics is not recommended at all.
  7. Your post is extremely difficult to understand but I think I get the basic idea of what you are trying to ask and say. Launchbox or any front end won't help you run a game if you can't run it in the emulator on its own and when it comes to arcade emulation it is highly recommended to match your rom set to the emulator version. For other devices such as a Pi or RS97 we do not provide support, Launchbox is not available for those devices, only Windows and Android.
  8. If you have a proper full set then those games are included in the set.
  9. It's a tablet with limited vram and an Intel graphics chip, unfortunately that limits you quite a bit in terms of what eye candy features you can use.
  10. Take notes of any changes you make and like and then you edit the raster.ini file found in your Mame\ini\presets folder. You will find all the settings in there, just input your settings you like and save. Some settings may be named slightly different but they should be similar enough to figure out.
  11. I just loaded up Mame and Altered Beast and went to the scanline amount slider in the video options and moved the slider from left (0.0_ to all the way right (1.0) and it goes from 0 scanlines to really dark ones, there is a noticeable difference. It doesn't make more scanlines, that is not something it can do. Scanline amount is set in the raster.ini using the scanline_alpha setting.
  12. The values for alpha should range form 0.0 to 1.0, mine is set to 0.50.
  13. Just doing some quick testing I believe it's: scanline_alpha in the raster.ini. the vector.ini will only affect the vector games like Tempest and Asteroids.
  14. Changing the sliders doesn't and never has saved out to the raster.ini or mame.ini file at all. You have to take note of the changes you made and like and then put those settings in the raster.ini and vector.ini files depending on which type of game it is for.

You can just select which image types you want to download and then go back and rescrape downloading the other media types only. As for pausing or scheduling goes though, I don't think I have ever seen this requested before.
  16. Do your games work in RA its own using the Hatari core ? I had very little success with it personally but I stand alone Hatari and Steem both work fine through LB with my games.
  17. It's not called curvature, it's under something else and of course I cannot remember what it is exactly. If you use my raster.ini from my download it has no curvature in it at all.
  18. NeoGeo CD I recommend using Mame stand alone, using the Mame core in Retroarch is much trickier but the FBNeo core supports it as well. Here are a couple of threads discussing the matter. As for Dreamcast indies use either Demul or the Flycast core in Retroarch, I can't say I have tested them all but all the ones I have tested work in both of those emulators, including Sturmwind which is known to be a tricky game to emulate.
  19. Yeah both PS3 and WiiU game files that you need to import are 2 folders deep so the "import using folder name" doesn't work.
  20. Yeah it could be a cart or could be that your file is not supported by Mames Atari 8-bit emulation or the emulation isn't very good. I would suggest trying a different emulator like Altirra or Kat5200, those are near perfect Atari 8-bit emulators.
