  1. Just re-run the importer. Dont delete your current platform, just re-run it.
  2. Its not being audited against any source, its simply scanning your image/video folders and telling you where you are missing images/videos.
  3. You can also get into the menu when a game is running with F1 as default, this can be changed to anything you want in the input settings.
  4. The MAME importer asks you for your rom path, but doesnt actually use it as such. It tells MAME what file name to load, and MAME knows where that file is, as long as you specified it to MAME. Retroarch would be a little different in that it would need the actual file passed to it in order to be loaded. It is a MAME importer for a reason, while you can of course use retroarch ( i wouldnt personally as there is no benefit at all to doing so over the standalone version) im not sure how exactly retroarch expects the files, or if it needs a rompath like standalone does.
  5. While i dont necessarily disagree with any of your points per se, you are really adding fuel to no real fire. Most people do not update there sets every month, in fact i would say a large proportion of our userbase are on much older sets and are perfectly happy where they are. Im not saying i wouldnt personally myself like a bit more transparency as to when its updated, but you have to understand that people who update every month on the day its updated are a very very small proportion of the userbase. We have people using 20 year old sets still for example.
  6. Yeah i just did, and @Lordmonkus just gave him a verbal warning, before i could do the same i will add. So @JonnyModlin cut it out right now, or i will simply stop you being able to access this forum. Create your own thread.
  7. Its not using anything other than what you told it, so Retroarch location and rom location. How did you import your roms? Is it a fullset?
  8. Yes. There are two coders currently on team, Jason, who is the creator and maintainer of Launchbox, and our new second dev, @C-Beats, who is doing awesome work (that i break constantly in betas and private )
  9. The steam importer doesnt work like that, it connects to your steam account to determine the games you own. Any "non steam game" you import to steam is only recognised on your local system and not as a purchased game in your steam account. Would be far simpler to just import your mame full romset to Launchbox using its fullset importer and creating a playlist for racing games.
  10. MAME by its very nature is different and requires a different import process. That is if you want Street Fighter 2 in your collection instead of sf2 with no metadata.
  11. How is it gouging? Any product is priced at the price the consumer is willing to pay, its priced slightly higher than a full priced game for what is a very useful and fully featured piece of software. Have you looked at the prices of software? Norton antivirus 360 is about $100 a year, Photoshop is around $100 per year also, Launchbox Premium is $75 and you get to keep it forever, or just £$30 for a yearly license.
  12. The mame metadata file is not gotten from the MAME.exe. Its from a external source then converted to the correct format.
  13. My MAME metadata file was updated yesterday.
  14. Use the theme creator and make one to your liking. Thats what the theme creator is for, to help people who cant code to create there own themes.
  15. Sounds like you are just pausing the emulator and not invoking the pause screen. Do you actually have a combo set in Launchbox and Bigbox to show the pause screen?
  16. Use the audit, or use the category dropdown to change it to games missing media, click on the video part and put the platform name in the search box. You can then highlite them all and search for metadata.
  17. Yeah weird, i just ran the importer again and it seems i was already logged in still as it didnt ask me to and then displayed games to import.
  18. I didnt have to do anything special for Uplay, just ran the wizard and logged into my account when prompted.
  19. Cool cheers. I have actually used these scripts before but i had issues with them, it seems multi monitor was the culprit as it changes the order of the Display options, working fine with only one display connected now. Nice one.
  20. What script are you using to toggle HDR, can you share it? I go back and forth on having HDR activated in Windows, as you say its needed to be on for a lot of games to even offer the HDR option in game, but it also interferes with certain other apps if left on permanently, so turning it on when needed per game sounds like a good compromise.
  21. Now that you mention it Quake 2 RTX is missing from my steam platform also.
