  1. You shouldn't have to do it everytime, it should just be set and leave as long as you set it in the general it will apply to all games. Also if you wanted you can set the tab button to a controller button so no need for a keyboard, i have it on UP on my dpad as i use the analogue stick in mame on my controller. I don't need the keyboard at all to change settings in mame with a game loaded, i do it all with my controller.
  2. Have you tried setting it up in mame with a game loaded? Just load a game then hit tab on your keyboard, and go to "input (general)" and set your buttons in there. As you will see under that option is a also a "input (this machine)" which will do what it say's and change the buttons for just the loaded game, i use this to change my buttons in fighting games as the layout is often different.
  3. Just right click on a game and choose edit, there is a checkbox just above the game image.
  4. There is already a "open with" in launchbox but is currently in the beta branch only. So yes possible if your system is set up correctly.
  5. Lol, wasn't help as such more a nudge to check your folders Your welcome though.
  6. Well some simple thinking there says if it's still playing the old video then it wasn't deleted. Are you deleting the file from Launchbox/Videos/Platforms? Also did you copy any into the theme you are using's video folder?
  7. Good to see ya getting back into it @Hexxxer, I would love a box art view of some description, preferably a low horizontal view, but if you have the know-how to put that in a vertical view i'd love to see that also.
  8. Updated and working like a charm Cheers fella.
  9. You are awesome and lightning quick with it!! Thank's again man, you do so much work it is much appreciated.
  10. Hey @Grila, i just added Atari 2600 to my retropie, and noticed that, that platform is missing, any chance? Thanks.
  11. If it doesn't allow .psd's then just zip it all, zips absolutely work.
  12. lol, no probs. Just a example of the size of files the download section will take.
  13. If it is that 80meg file in the first post, you could absolutely upload that to the download section. It may be to big to post directly into a thread, but that's why we have the download section, it will accept much larger files than that.
  14. There is a way to mark games as completed in launchbox already but it's a manual toggle. Unfortunately games are very different to movies, and it is virtually impossible to automatically know when a game has been completed. It's easy with movies as you just look at the run time and when you hit that end time it's marked as watched, games don't have a run time.
  15. Agreed there, that is a ton of logo's to right click and save one by one. @crisemmm could you zip the pack and add it to our download section please?
  16. This has actually been a feature for quite a long while now, and you are the first person i have seen who has taken issue with it to be honest with you. Most people like the fact that they don't have to sit and wait for the update to download, they are just prompted when it is ready to install and away it goes. As i said previously though you are free to turn this off, and if you don't want the program updating to betas at all there is a option for that also. Generally when people check the beta update box it is because they want the most up to date cutting edge version of the program, so i would hazard a guess that 99% of those people just click the yes button as soon as they are notified.
  17. Well with all due respect you chose not to install it so it didn't at that time as you specified. However it tried to install the next time you launched the program, most programs just say hey there is a update do you want to download it now? In this case there was no need to prompt you as you had specified in the options that you want beta updates and it was already downloaded to your system so it just installed so you wouldn't have to check the install the latest update button. As i said though this can be turned off in the options if desired.
  18. Pressing no, simply means you are saying no thanks on this launch. It will then install on your next launch. As i said if you don't want it to auto install just uncheck the beta box and recheck it when you want to specifically install a beta or update.
  19. If you don't want to update uncheck the "update to beta" box in the options, and delete the update from your Launchbox/Updates folder.
  20. There is a option in the views section for background fanart, is it checked?
  21. Lol, i'm so glad we can close the book on this one for now, was starting to do my head in a bit. Glad you are all good now @Levo_Stone
  22. If i was you i would delete and re-upload with the correct folder name. Not everyone reads the instructions, and you may get a load more query's like mine.
  23. Yep that did it, you bloody fool. Id re-upload that asap if i was you, thanks for the help troubleshooting it.
