  1. Ill be honest, I had a bastardised really old mame set, that I have recently swapped out for the latest set, which was a massive download, but I love..
  2. Because you liked and I posted, those numbers have changed..
  3. I would just like to add, I'm not a forum person, never have been, those places creep me out a bit. I joined here so I could access the downloads section, and look at me now. 534 posts, and 138 likes, such a wonderful community.
  4. I have so many mame roms in there now, consolidation was heaven sent. It was such a mess previously that I deleted a lot of them.
  5. Any news or update? Would be good to know if it worked, and what in particular worked for you. People may find this thread in the future, so pass it on!!
  6. Glad you are all up and running now @Patham after some initial headaches.
  7. Also, unless you exclude it, whenever you turn your antivirus back on, it will automatically delete the files again.
  8. Try this thread. If its not already covered just ask there and I'm sure someone will help you.
  9. I take it after your reply that you are using a antivirus of some kind? With all due respect if you are on windows 7 or greater then you don't really need it, the built in antivirus has far less false positives than anything else. This software is 100% virus free, but crappy antivirus solutions don't do the job properly and flag and delete all sorts of legitimate programs.
  10. I just spoke to Jason, and he said he only ever see's that when a shitty antivirus deletes the files, you don't need to re download, go to your launchbox folder, and there is a update folder, sort by date so newest is 1st and reinstall that.

    move to other pc

If all your roms and emulators are in the launchbox folder, then yes you can just move the folder.
  12. Yeah just set launchbox as your frontend in rocket launcher instead of hyperspin.
  13. Was just thinking, may or may not work. you could try the general joypad setup without a core loaded, and run through the prompts and when it asks for up, down, left, and right on the right stick try using the four buttons instead.
  14. Now that's a tricky one, I have just looked at retroarch and yes c buttons are mapped to right stick by default or on the four face buttons via another button to toggle. I don't see any way to remap the c buttons without also still having to use the toggle button as well. Shame really. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
  15. Hi, if you are using critical zone which I think you are, got to options/view/ and switch game list view to "Vertical View 2" Like this.
  16. Yeah to be fair dolphin is probably the best supported and compatible emulator out there, I would just stick with what is known to work. Dolphin core has barely started.
  17. Correct you would need it as a second retroarch emulator, or else launchbox will look in your current install for the new core.
  18. Well I would suggest keeping a separate install just in case, retroarch is portable so you can have many different versions of it running on one pc. To slow!!
  19. Good to know, I had been on the nightly for so long I couldn't remember.
