I had that problem, what I did is convert those CD images to ISO files, then compress them into CSO. That way you don't have to worry about waiting for decompression nor loading the wrong file.

Nice one adding trailers! I've noticed that most trailers show nothing about the game in the first 5 to 10 seconds. Is it possible to make them start at a later time instead of at the beginning? That would be cool. Maybe add a slider so the user can adjust the start time.

By the way, the aspect ratio of your screenshots is wrong. NES (and any analog TV console) was meant to be displayed on a 4:3 CRT TV. The native resolution (and any multiple of it) is not 4:3, thus doesn't display the game how it was seen on a real console connected to a TV. Take this into account when uploading screenshots of old systems.

Hey, is there away to force play a videosnap of a game over a video theme using code? I want my theme to show video themes on a fullscreen view but show a video snap on the description view.

One thing I learned is that it's never complete, there's always something to update or improve.

You mean with MAME? With that emulator you can define one config to work with different machines, for example one for all Capcom's CPS-1 games, one for all CPS-3, etc. What you do is make that config, put it in MAME/ctrl folder, then change one line in the mame.ini (should be in MAME's root folder) to point to that file. That line is ctrlr. Here's how the mame.ini should look: Here's my config file in case you don't have one, try this and see if this works for you. I should work with any modern MAME, any Xinput and most Dinput devices: XARCADE_XBox360x4.cfg EDIT: If you already made a custom config for a game it will override this config file. If you prefer this config, delete the .cfg files located in the MAME/cfg folder.

My collection is about 4500 games and going down, Used to be 15000+. I just finished cleaning my collection removing duplicate games from different platforms. My rule is to keep the ports, collections and different versions to a minimum, for each game I try to keep the best version or the one for the most easily emulated, I treat Launchbox like one big system with cool games rather than a full collection of games for many consoles and devices. Having all the games for many systems ends up making your Launchbox look like those bootleg "99999 in 1" games where you only have few titles repeated ad nauseam.
