  1. Hey guys, sorry for bumping this topic again, but I am in the same situation as @NJDave71. I have a couple of programs that I would like them to be at the same level as any other platform and not inside one. Currently I had to create a Platform with the name Jukebox, and once inside I had to create Jukebox again as an app to finally access it. Is there a way to change the hierarchy or location of an app? Thanks!
  2. I agree, but I feel that the one release per month thing they are doing kinda force them to have something at least to show on each release. So i would rather have them not do monthly releases with this type of stuff, and wait for a couple of months or more, and have them tinker and mess around with bigger/demanded subjects.
  3. MAME has reached a mature stage in which the main/overall stuff has been tackled already, so all in one hacks or Tiger electronic systems is what they are releasing now. I am personally not too fond of monthly updates at this point in MAME's life, so those videos are great to check if it is worth to update, or wait for a next release to do it all together.
  4. Gorgeous! You have skills harry!
  5. So sexy it hurts! Awesome job! Dont know if it is my phone cutting the vid one sec before it ends, but just in case: the ending is a little abrupt with the music. Maybe fade it out? I love your stuff. Keep rocking
  6. LOVED the Zoombinis game when I was little! It was a disappointment though that after moving all of them to Zoombiland, there was no game ending. Highly recommended!
  7. No prob. The Process Explorer tool might shed some light as well on extra processes that the Task Manager could not be showing. Also, if the new update is adding Chrome components to the set, checking the installed Chrome version, or uninstalling it could be another thing to troubleshoot. Just thinking out loud on all kinds of possible tinkering.
  8. Hey guys, throwing this here, sorry in advance if it has nothing to do with the problem, but try disabling the antivirus. And you could try running the PC in Safe Mode and launching BB to see what happens as well.
  9. Loving it Klops. The only downside I can see is that some titles get fused a little too much with the bg, making them barely readable (i.e. Sega Saturn). Dont know if the best solution would be to find a more contrasted image, or apply some outter glow to the logo. Nevertheless, I dig a lot the idea of using retro 2d imagery for the bgs
  10. Nice work Klops! Glad to see you back in action
  11. Requested by ALIE; Apple Bandai Pippin.
  12. Hehe, I haven't I started checking James Baker cinematics topic a long time ago, then the Unbroken Software Youtube channel, the developer sessions, and one thing led to another, so I now check the LB forums every now and then for awesome creative stuff like this you did Although I must say that Cid's City Hunter theme is beautiful and made me think about giving it a shot; but my dedicated retro gaming PC does not have enough power to run BB.
  13. You can check the latest MAME release (194) as it implemented artwork override and fallback options (developed by the great phulshof). So, when you add a specific line to the horizont.ini and vertical.ini MAME files, every rom that does not have artwork for bezel, will show you the default one (or any you configure), without the need to configure a default bezel for each game.
  14. Theme customizations at a user level through a GUI is a huge step up. Awesome iniciative!
  15. Thank you. By any chance do you have at hand the Google image you found?
  16. @pezley, awesome idea; really digging the theme Do you mind sharing the source image/render of the arcade machine you used? (Unless it was made by you; in which case, great work with it!). Thanks!
  17. Dont mention it Glad to be of help.
  18. Hey guys! Just saw the new LB 8.0 video in Youtube, and the mention of this logos set. It reminded me that I made the missing ones some time ago for each type of the 6 backgrounds. @garehard, if you don't mind, I'll leave the zip file attached in this post. If you are not ok with it let me know and I'll remove it. 20. Speechless. This is impressive. Beautiful job!
  21. Hey DOS, dont worry; I see what you mean and that is a fair comparison I guess I think of the FE community as a whole in terms of art (does not matter the app the user has), and when using resources (no matter its source) an acknowledge or mention of the person that crafted it is the right thing to do.
  22. Thanks again Cid. Did not know it was an open db nor about that plugin. I appreciate your explanation. Of course I dont want them taken down; my ultimate goal is to share content all around and for everybody to have the best art possible in their sets.
