  1. +1 to center the selection in horizontal and vertical lists/wheel
  2. Hey @CriticalCid/guys! I have a problem running this awesome theme, and I hope you are able to help me; it runs butter smooth while I am in the platforms section scrolling the wheel, or inside each platform scrolling the games, but every time I move from one section to another, BB freezes, I can hear the video sound playing in the background (from the selection of the new section) , and after a solid minute or two, then it switches to the section I accessed and smooths back without problem. It currently happens when going back and forth from the platforms section and enter any platform, and when going from the game details menu back to the game list. Do you know what could be going on? Thank you in advance! EDIT: I did a force cache of all the images, and started working awesomely, but then restarting Big Box made the problem appear again. Maybe it is something with the clear logos? I do not know what to do. Any help will be highly appreciated!
  3. Dont know if this will help, but I added yesterday a CHD game to my set that I did not have (zooo.chd), and this great game does not come with a zip file originally; its just a 12mb CHD file. I did not have to create any dummy zip/rom, just import rom file, select the chd file and thats it.
  4. I know this is not what you are looking for, but if you do a global search for example for "Donkey Kong", you will get a list of all the DK games you have on all the systems in one place.
  5. Take a look at this topic of new potato friendly shaders for the game boy family: https://forums.libretro.com/t/simple-textured-shader-for-non-backlit-lcd-systems-gbc-etc/15520
  6. Chris, go to Settings > Onscreen Display > Onscreen Overlay. Make sure "Display Overlay" is on and then select "Overlay Preset". Go to your overlay folder in Retroarch and select the cfg file corresponding to your png. Thats it. If you dont have a cfg for a png, you can use any from the overlays folder, and edit its content to match your png file name.
  7. I had a similar issue some time ago with MAME and JoyToKey. I learned that MAME uses raw input as default to read multiple devices and to reduce lag, and since JoyToKey emulates strokes per assignation/mapping, MAME was not recognizing them. Solved it by opening the mame.ini, finding the line " keyboardprovider auto" (without the quotes), and changing "auto" for "dinput" to force it. Hope this helps.
  8. Loving all these retro overlays! Great job.
  9. Verify that the platform name you created matches exactly the one you wrote in the second tab of the emulator. Also, you can try pasting the command line for the core in the first tab as well.
  10. Maybe in the game info line, next to the play mode? On a side note (as I know you will be releasing more views), just wanted to leave here my preferences just in case; have a vertical straight list instead of curved, have it on the left side of the screen, and have regular text instead of logos in the game list. Thats it. Too excited with this theme. Arriving home in a couple of hours and will test it out as soon as I can.
  11. Gorgeous job Critical! I love the unified concept from HS, and the additions you have from LB makes this the ideal theme
  12. @faeran duuuuude! You rock! Impressive work
  13. @Melter try rebooting the machine in Safe Mode and see if it starts there. If it does, then a program or service is blocking BB. If it still does not open up, then Im out of ideas (and I dont want to say "reinstall the OS").
  14. Awesome work @faeran! Out of curiosity, are you planing on doing some from the Sega or Sony families?
  15. Loving it! Like all your pieces Dont forget the fade out Keep up the awesome work!
  16. Just saw this topic! Awesome work Styph! Have you made by any chance the Arcade and Sega Master System ones? I have currently modified your platform boxes to meet the banners measures.
  17. Thanks for the quick answer! Hopefully one day/
  18. Hey guys, sorry for bumping this topic again, but I am in the same situation as @NJDave71. I have a couple of programs that I would like them to be at the same level as any other platform and not inside one. Currently I had to create a Platform with the name Jukebox, and once inside I had to create Jukebox again as an app to finally access it. Is there a way to change the hierarchy or location of an app? Thanks!
  19. I agree, but I feel that the one release per month thing they are doing kinda force them to have something at least to show on each release. So i would rather have them not do monthly releases with this type of stuff, and wait for a couple of months or more, and have them tinker and mess around with bigger/demanded subjects.
  20. MAME has reached a mature stage in which the main/overall stuff has been tackled already, so all in one hacks or Tiger electronic systems is what they are releasing now. I am personally not too fond of monthly updates at this point in MAME's life, so those videos are great to check if it is worth to update, or wait for a next release to do it all together.
  21. Gorgeous! You have skills harry!
  22. So sexy it hurts! Awesome job! Dont know if it is my phone cutting the vid one sec before it ends, but just in case: the ending is a little abrupt with the music. Maybe fade it out? I love your stuff. Keep rocking
