What do you mean "I have several users..."? Are you providing LB in a build for users? LB does not contain any viruses. It is a false positive. As long the users has downloaded it directly from the LB website the warning can be ignored.

Its in Launchbox. Go to >Tools>Manage Emulators. Choose Cemu and edit it.

The badges are new, but that's not what you are needing to deal with. What you want are the images used specifically by that theme for those categories. You can change these easily. Just go into the theme's folder. There will likely be an images folder and find the one that contains the .jpg or .png for favorites, broken, etc.. Then just add the ones you want to use and name them exactly as the ones you are replacing.
-
Depending on the view you are using you should be able to go into the theme's \Views folder and edit the xml for that view. Search for "rating" and there should be at least 2 Text Blocks coded for the rating. You can delete those text block lines of code. I would back up the xml first before doing this in case any gets messed up.

Launchbox not making box art same size for PC games
Retro808 replied to ClassierPompano's topic in Features
LB does not actually standardize any box images at all. You likely with the other platforms just have good images that are the same size. Unfortunately there is no way to keep them all the same size from within the LB UI. -
Glad you are sorted. Yeah I doubted a bios since you said it was working. Going forward I recommend always setting up the emulator first. Set your controls and test your roms in the emulator first and make sure everything works there. Then import them into LB. This way, if after you import into LB the games do not run, we know it is a LB setting and not an emulator/rom/or bios issue.
-
In LB if you go to the game and edit it you can then select which of the roms you want as default. When you edit go to the "Additional Apps" page and click on the rom he wants as default. Than click the "Make Default" button in the bottom right.

@Jodisa Your first post says you had it working in Retroarch which means you already have the correct bios. So it is not a bios issue. You then said you messed with settings and now it does not work. Messed with settings where? In Launchbox or Retroarch?
-
That's likely the Game Details screen. If you want to bypass that go to BB Options > General and check the box for Skip Game Details.
-
May I ask why you chose to run as admin? It is recommended not to do run LaunchBox or BigBox as admin. Can you change that and see what happens when you run it.
-
You can set a "Per Platform" theme, however It will not take into account the screen rotated. So it will not change the theme from landscape view to a portrait view. If you are using software the will do the rotation for you then it should work using the "Remember Separate View Per Platform" setting in >Views page of BB settings.

No confusion. You posted the same question in the thread here. It is not a big issue to worry over. We are not overt sticklers to rules here, we do like to keep posts for same questions to a minimum though.
-
1: Do the games run directly in Retroarch without using LB? If yes, see # 2. If No, then the issue is either your roms or you do not have the right core downloaded in RA. Could be some other things as well. 2: If yes to #1. In your emulator setup for Retroarch within LB (>Tools>Manage Emulators) do you have to correct core selected for the platform name you added you Mame games to and does the platform name that is listed in the Associated Platforms tab matching exactly as you have the platform named within LaunchBox? Example: If you imported the mame roms into a platform called "Arcade" then the Associated Platform name in Retroarch should be called "Arcade". the names must match.

@CtinD Please refrain from posting the same question in multiple threads. It is best practice to either find the most appropriate ongoing thread or if none exists start a new one. This thread would have been more appropriate versus the other thread you posted it in.

Switch between Sega model 2 rom versions?
Retro808 replied to ReignerDeustcher's topic in Troubleshooting
If each version of a single game is zipped inside one rom LB cannot see them. Each game would have to be its own zipped rom file. LB can only send the command line to run the game you selected. It cannot tell the emulator to run this rom but choose this game inside it. -
Switch between Sega model 2 rom versions?
Retro808 replied to ReignerDeustcher's topic in Troubleshooting
Did you import all the rom versions? If so what Chris mentioned will work. If you did not import them all then you need to do so in order to play the other versions. -
If you want to use the new Default theme there is a way to get scroll back like in the old default theme. 1. Copy the "Default" theme folder and paste it into your LBTheme folder and rename it whatever you want. 2. Then go into the new theme's \Views folder and right click and edit the BoxesContentView.xaml 3. Look for the line with <ScrollViewer IsDeferredScrollingEnabled="true"> should be somewhere around line 459 or so. 4. Change "true" to "false" and save the file.

It is a permanent change. The changes were made to allow for better integration feature additions.

In the BigBox setting are you binding it to “Exit” or “Close Active Window”? If “Exit” that is for exiting BigBox. You need to bind “Close Active Window”.
-
Please share some pics of how you have it set up. >Tools>Manage Emulators and edit Demul. 1. Share pic of Details Tab 2. Share Pic of Associated Platforms tab What system are you trying to use Demul for?
-
That is up to you. They are not needed for LB to function, just your back ups in case of an issue and you need to restore.
-
Since you are not using 3D boxes the easiest way is to go into LB. Go to >Tools>Options and in the Image Priorities for 3D box uncheck all items. Then select only Box Front and use the move buttons to move it to the top. Now anywhere a theme wants to display a 3D box it will default to the standard flat Box Front.

You can have more data show. It is possible to get any of the metadata fields to show. I have one marquee that show the game notes. Might be possible for the high-scores. Never tried so I cannot confirm. But if BB can show it, then it may work.
-
Not saying that would not be handy, but I dread to think how horrible thousands of users pushing images to the LB Games DB and then they having to try and moderate all those. Just seeing the comments how much junk they go through as is with the manual process of users having to upload through the website is bad enough. The crap users upload is astonishing so who know what an instant click and upload from within LB would do.

I think @Headrush69 is trying to have you confirm does the Associated Platform names match exactly how you have the platform named in LB.
