You would have to manually edit the xaml of each platform and update each games PlayTime section. It is tracked in total seconds 2:48 is recorded as 168. LB does not have a way to combine a 3rd party plugins data with the metadata it pulls. <PlayTime>168</PlayTime>

They do not actually have to match they just need to be a good named file. Not have a bunch of junk info in the name. Post a pic of the rom files/folder content so we can see what we are dealing with.

Does the name of your platform match the name listed in the Associated Platforms tab? If you called the platform "Arcade" the Associated Platform tab needs to show "Arcade". If you called it "Mame" then it needs to show "Mame". They have to match. Perhaps post a few images for us. 1. Edit your Mame Emulator: Post pic of Details page as well as Associated Platforms page. 2. Right click a Mame game and edit: Post pic of Emulation Page and Launching Page.

Questions regarding 3D box art and background music
Retro808 replied to El_Luiso's topic in Troubleshooting
What theme are you using? Some themes depending on how they are coded are designed to show a specific image type. As well as possibly fade the image away after a certain time. -
If you have the move lists in image for the proper way to do it would be code a theme to show an image of the move lists. As a workaround to coding a view you can do this by simply putting the image for each games move list in the Arcade-Marquee folder of each platform. you would have to name each file after each game as they are named in LB. Then by default BB would pull from the Arcade - Marquee folder to show the image on the marquee screen. Example: (Mortal Kombat) \LaunchBox\Images\Arcade\Arcade - Marquee\Mortal Kombat.jpg

You can email support@unbrokensfotware.com. Explain the situation and see if they can get you sorted.
-
What method are you using to import them? If you use the file option you can select all the .cdi or you can open a Windows folder, select them all there, then drag and drop onto LB.
-
Are you using 32Bit version of Windows? If so this is the reason. 32Bit is not supported anymore.
-
I do not believe it is possible to have BB actively open a webpage on the marquee screen when a game launches, but you can have it show and image of the taplist like it would any other game or marquee image.

Its not too hard to find. But the games can be a pain to set up. Thankfully TeknoParrot has come a long way and many games no longer need things like other loaders to be used along with TeknoParrot. Check out a site called Emuline.

Theme development questions, where to post them?
Retro808 replied to Hazuki's topic in Website/Forum Support
Usually in Y2guru’s thread is a good spot. -
You would have to edit the theme's code to stop it from animating. It fades only after you stopped on a game so the data and video on the screen tells you what game you are on.
-
Model 2 and Model 3 (ran through the Model 2 and Model 3 emulators) Sega boards such as Hikaru and Naomi. As well as Sammy Atomiswave (all ran in Demul) A whole slew of arcade games ran through TeknoParrot. Probably others these are just some of the more common ones.

Renaming would only help if the name did not match what you have your PSP platform called. Can you post a pic of the platform level and how it looks? You can try to refresh the image cache, but usually theme images do not need that. In BB settings there is an image cache option. What exactly did you call your PSP platform?
-
Take a look at the actual name of the Platform as it shows in your LB/BB, then go into the theme's \Images\Theme folder and look in the \Background and \Pointer folder. If inside those folder you do not see a image named exactly as your platform is named that would be the issue. I believe the Unified theme images are named "Sony PlayStation PSP" and "Sony PlayStation Portable". Can you tell me what the actual name your PSP platform is showing in LB?

NES and SNES ROMS will not launch with LaunchBox
Retro808 replied to finn101's topic in Troubleshooting
@finn101 Apologies I forgot you replied a while back. Give what @JoeViking245 mentioned a try, although RA should be able to launch your files zipped. Also, can you just confirm your platform names as they show in LB are actually what you have listed in the Associated Platform in the pic. For Example is your platform actually called "Nintendo Entertainment System" and not "NES"? What you called the platform and what is listed in the Associated Platforms page has to match. -

BB settings go to "Views" section. You will see a "Default Startup View". Change it there.
