Nevermind. I see in the instructions were it is located. I will play around with it and see if I can make it work.  I had a Hyperspin setup years ago. I'm just trying to get back in it. I moved to BigBox looking for something easier. I enjoy it, I just don't have the time I once had. I will try to watch some more vids and get caught up. Thanks

Same here. I came from Hyperspin/RocketLauncher. I got frustrated that Hyperspin was not natively widescreen and that RocketLauncher was no longer being updated. 

I've since abandoned RocketLauncher now that startup screens are now a part of LB/BB.

I'm a huge fan of launchbox and the community.

Startup screens AND shutdown screens and Jason is going to add pause screens too I believe. X-D

the theme is perfect, the only thing i miss is a platform video for the sega naomi 2.

Hey quick feedback; The Nintendo Switch carts spin like if they were a disc (tested with all the platform DLCs).

Awesome theme. One question, where do I put the clear consoles logos? I put them here M:\LaunchBox\Themes\Unified Refried\Images\Theme\Addons\_Consoles but they dont seem to be showing when I launch BigBox.

Yes, and remember to go to options/image cache and refresh platform images in Bigbox after adding them.

I love your work. I think I found a bug. 

I'm experiencing the following problem. In the fullscreen game view all videos are displayed  too wide and bigger that the space available in the screen. Like 40% more.

To fix it, I have to go Wheel4GamesView and using WinGrep replaced:

StretchVideo="true" Height="1080" Width="1920"

by:

StretchVideo="false" Height="846" Width="1128"

It's like BigBox thinks I'm using a smaller resolution but I have a full HD TV.  Maybe it's a problem with my configuration. I would leave StretchVideo="false", but it's a personal taste.

 

There is other issue that should affect everyone. In Queso_Fresco_Addon_1.1.zip some files xaml in the Wheel4GamesView folder are of 7 KB (right) and others of 21 KB (wrong).

I have Windows 10, the latest version of Launch Box and I'm using VLC as video player.

How do I structure to get Collections art to show? I created a 'Collections' category, and that is showing in the theme as expected.

I created a custom playlist for 'Aliens Collection' and put it in the Collections Category. I didn't show in big box as a collection with the custom art etc etc. 

How do I get this theme in Big Box to recognize the Collections, do I create a playlist and put it somewhere?

EDIT: I answered my own question. Simply change the view. What a spacecadet.

If anyone is interested, I have attached the files below. Background.png and Mainborder.png go inside the Themes>Unified refried>images>theme>mainmenu folder. Keep in mind, I am using the platform view. Also, I had to edit the "Platformwheel3filtersview.xaml" file in the Themes>Unified refried>views folder and change the margin from "30,-265,30,0" to "30,-170,30,0" for the horizontal scrolling notes to be aligned properly on my TV; yours might be different. (See code below)

Btw RetroHumanoid, I need your help. Is it possible to add Mark as completed icon to the game details screen? It doesn't seem to be included in your theme.  Is there anyway we can edit the files to include it?  ? This will make the theme perfect for me.

If anyone wants to know, I figured this one out by locking Bigbox with a pin and making sure to change the options in "Security" screen under option.  

And also, can you show me how to remove "Add to playlist"  (circled above) from the game menu screen? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Dude, this theme is FIRE!  I'm enjoying the heck out of it!  

ONE issue though that i've been breaking my head over for days before I came in here to ask.   I've followed all the instructions but I can't seem to get the video marquees on the arcade to show.  Everything else works perfectly fine.  I've tried renaming videos, folders, everything.  Reinstalled everything.  Changed the back box priority to 'marquee'.  I'm so stressed LOL   Please help!  I'm willing to make the marquee videos and share them!

shameless "im going to be THAT guy" moment.

im in awe of the theme, but have a humble request to shoehorn the sega cd 32x platform into this.

i'm a completionist, and see value in keeping parity with the LBDB and its innate platforms, so my choices are pretty much hide the platform, or beg for it to be included over 5 games (6 if your going international i believe lol)

no idea how much work is involved so take that into consideration before the offensive begins!

Love the theme. Been using it for a while until a weird issue has popped up. Not sure what has caused it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the pictures I have attached, where it's supposed to show just the genre for the game, players etc. It show's genre only and like every genre for some reason. What could be the issue?

Edit: Nevermind, it was to do with a plugin I used that bulk edited genre's haha.

Is it just me or does it go from platform wheel 1 filters view to platform wheel 3 filters view in the manage themes > unified retried > views menu?

mine skips “2” altogether assuming it’s supposed to be there.  If it isn’t great, if it is - where did I screw up?

this was my first theme install Lol

I'm really loving this theme. One question for anyone; I have the unified refried view when I enter an actual platform, but when I'm in the platform select view (I have BB set to start at platforms) I have the vertical wheel on the left and it automatically starts playing fullscreen video.

 

Is there a way to have the same look in the game selection screen as in the platform screen (with a random game playing in the 'sub' screen)? I'm not loving the fullscreen video of a random game when choosing a platform, I'd like something a little tidier.
