    psxmame

psx -cdrom maybe didn't test it. Tested not working
  2. I bought my diy kit on ebay for $130 and the parts for two controls for another $75 on Amazon and used a PC and monitor I already had lying around so $200 so far but still need plexiglass and graphics.
  3. I powered mine by setting the BOIS to start the PC on power up and then I bought a 3 plug extension cord tthat has a switch on the cord. That was the easiest solution without having to rewire things for me
  4. If I had to do it all over again I'd buy the joysticks that you could switch from 4 to 8 way that's my only real regret.
  5. I get the same start up time on my other machines so I doubt its the drive.
  6. I'm running a PCI-E based msata drive as my boot drive on my basement setup and I don't have any issues. BigBox start time is slow any way about 30 seconds on my best machines. Just took 47 seconds in a test for me i5 3330 8gb RAM. I don't think that would be the issue but you never know.
  7. I would reject it if it wasn't manufactured as an Enterprise game it clearly doesn't belong there.
  8. I don't know some of those newer Gigabyte brix and NUC machines have 6th gen i5's and i7s I'm sure they would handle LB/BB no issues they would limit you though to the onboard graphics which would hamper you performance in Cemu or anything newish like that. I was running an i5 3330 without a card for awhile and I had Dolphin running on there from the onboard and it was playable so a new board with Intels latest graphics should suffice for Dolphin. Those small FF PC's are like any PC it all depends upon what is inside of them
  9. I run BigBox on three different Atom PC's and due to the specs there are always going to be some performance issues. I personally turned off all of the transitions and that improved performance on my machines. Even with the transitions off there is still times when it takes awhile for the box art to catch up so it is usable but if you are at all picky about performance and any slow downs then you may want to go with some stronger hardware Whether performance could be tweaked in order to get BB to run better on lesser hardware or not is something Jason would have to chime in about I'm just sharing my experience with using similar hardware with the program.
  10. @CharcoI have a HTPC in 4 different rooms and all of them use that keyboard (well they are the K400r not the plus) it is the perfect size, still has function keys and I personally like that it is both a mouse and keyboard and I only need one device.

Add me to the list of the unenlightened as I didn't have a clue about it.
  12. @CadetStimpyglad your still alive despite life trying its best to monkey wrench you.
  13. Yeah at the moment there isn't any way to have the same image for all games on a platform but I've seen a request for something like this in the past so you may be able to find it on BitBucket
  14. Can you get the game to work through Dolphin without using LB? when you right click the game and go into edit what type of file format are you using it will be listed in the path textbox.
  15. Hey @Meatballwelcome to the community! 1. Your hardware should be good for LB its self and most emulators to it may struggle with things like Demul if you wanted to run Arcade games from it. Is it a strictly Arcade and more simple console setup or do you have controllers too and hope to emulate things like Wii PS2 I'm not sure how those would preform with an i3 as I've never run them on anything less then an i5 personally 2. LB currently works with Vista and up and it is said that Windows 10 is the best with the versions of .net that LB uses and if you have 8GB of RAM you would need to have the 64 bit version or you would be maxed out at 4GB 3. I'm not a GameEx user but before I found LB I had it working to some degree but it isn't as easy to setup as LB is that is for sure.
  16. You could try this post @Vlansixmade a fullscreen addon that you can run as an additional app before games it may work for you.
  17. @InfinityFoxI will have to correct you then because Naomi, Hikaru, Gaelco, Atomiswave and Cave games all work fairly well in Demul if you have a good enough system for the emulator.
  18. What version of LB are you using I just downlaoded the latest stable to test and it definitely made a themes folder so if it didn't then there was an issue with your install and you should try again.

    MAME

A wiki sounds like a good idea the question is who is going to write it and maintain it as I'm sure with the development it will need constant revisions as changes are made weekly if not daily around here. If there was a wiki written a year ago it would basically be in such a need of revisions and additions and if it didn't receive constant attention it would quickly stop representing the full capabilities of the program.
  20. In BigBox you should go into Options Keyboard Mapping you can see every thing it does and also there are some controls there you may want to set up that are set to a null value until you assign it something.
  21. If you learned to use RetroArch you could trim that list down significantly and only have a few emulators. For NeoGeo Pocket/Pocket Color, Virtual Boy, Lynx and TurboGrafx you will find that these cores are better than the stand alone's you are using (if you were to get mednafen running that could change but RA is easier to get running than Mednafen.

    Help 3DO

Yeah that config file only works if you have made a special config if use it without one it will crash RetroArch.

    Help 3DO

Do you have a special config file setup for 3DO? If you remove the -c "config_4do_libretro.cfg" do the games launch.
