  1. when its said that LB will be portable that doesn't guarantee your emulators will be.
  2. 32 bit Windows 10 probably doesn't use that much RAM idling as that is the max capacity for it
  3. Good to know I guess I better turn off the updates on both my Windows tablets (1 and 2 GB) they work fine with OG once you turn the RAM cache all the way down
  4. Interesting didn't know you could open a command window at your location by typing CMD in the address bar once you clear it of the path
  5. to generate an ini file from with in the UI just start MAME with no game loaded go to configure options and then save configuration it will create an ini file
  6. No leaving them checked skips everything in them that is why I was asking. I would try deleting it and running the importer again.
  7. Well something went wrong. It is completely normal for all the bios files to be in a full ROM set. If you have a full ROM set and you are also downloading the bios packs you are wasting HDD space. Did you uncheck any of the options in the importer.
  8. Launchbox is extremely portable especially in the way that you wish to set it up. The easiest way to set it up over the network is by using paths directly to the other network computer although using mapped network drives will also work as long as you assign the same letters on the PC that you move it to. I use paths like this on mine \\servername\Emulators\Platform\Games this way I can simply copy my LB install to other machines and they will work after I change the paths to my new emulators on the other computer.
  9. The area that is telling you it is using Nestopia is a drop down menu you just have to double click inside of it and it will allow you to change cores from the menu.
  10. was there a MAME.ini file that was the only one you were supposed to paste there? 99.9% of the time that is the reason the MAMEUI doesn't work in LB
  11. go into your MAME folder and then into the ini folder and cut the mame.ini file and place it in the root folder then everything should work.
  12. If you have them in LB in Video\Arcade (assuming you are calling your platform Arcade) LB should recognize them if they match either the title of the game or the MAME short name.
  13. Cool I would definitely be interested in a LB Plex theme (assuming it for LB)
  14. Damn it just came out yesterday give the man some time to get it done.
  15. Yeah I'm sure he will have to do something as sooner or later this is going to leave Insider status and become official and I think he would want to be in front of it. For now I would suggest navigating to the games folder in Windows Explorer and selecting the files you want there and dragging them over onto LB this will initiate the import wizard.
  16. Actually using that method it does error out. I always add files with the drag and drop method and it doesn't have that issue so I never would have noticed. Hopefully Jason can have a look at it but if its only effecting insider builds and he may not be testing any of them out it may not get fixed right away.
  17. Strange I'm on Insider Build 17746 fast ring and have not encountered any errors while adding games. I've been getting builds pretty frequently and haven't had this issue on any of them.
  18. No Problem glad you got it working.
  19. retroarch.cfg Use this one instead I noticed I also didn't change the menu driver like I wanted to
  20. right click it go to open with choose notepad
  21. sorry I made a slight mistake if you edit that file try changing d3d to d3d9 it used to be generic but now you have to specify the version
  22. These are the settings I have to manually set in the config if that doesn't work then I have no clue what the issue is unfortunately retroarch.cfg
  23. You can go into your updates folder and roll back to the last version that had OG if you really want to.
