  1. No issues here after downloading the latest development release from their homepage. You might want to join their live discord and see if anyone can help https://discordapp.com/invite/zuEAVTG
  2. FlightRisk, by any chance are you an iPhone user?? Up until now, the Windows version of LaunchBox and BigBox have become extremely mature in development and a few years ago when it wasn't so "mature", I recall that Jason rejected the idea of porting LaunchBox to Android. However, now mobile gaming is a really big market probably more so than PC gaming, since more people of all ages and backgrounds are using their smartphones for a variety of uses, much more so than desktop or laptop computers. This is especially true here in South Korea, where the Android gaming market/scene has become gigantic, mostly Android games but also emulation. And with the release of an Android version, it could (and should) potentially expose a lot of smartphone users to the Windows version of LaunchBox, making it a win-win situation from a marketing perspective.
  3. Personally, I haven't tried any of the games you mentioned and usually stick to the Commodore games from the 80's but have you tried using any of the latest versions of Vice? There's a couple of different nightly versions and the most recent one was released for download about a week ago. Here is their website: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vice-emu/files/experimental binaries/ Or you'd probably find a much more educated and informed answer to that issue from a more dedicated site like this one https://www.lemon64.com/forum/ ?
  4. Yep, can confirm the same issue here. @Jason Carr screenshots and other artwork seem to be broken within launchbox but videos are working
  5. @Zombeaver you wouldn't happen to have a torrent or other source to download this? Unfortunately Mega has a very strict transfer quota?
  6. Awesome work! Thank you very much!
  7. Due to the time difference, I probably won't be able to watch it live but I'll certainly catch the 'rerun' on youtube when it becomes available. Keep up the good work!
  8. In my opinion, this theme is clean, simple and great just as it is. I think it just needs to be polished up a little with some new fonts and maybe a few extras
  9. I didn't have much luck with the DS4 in Bluetooth mode either. It was constantly unpairing and requires 3rd party software to work. I highly recommend the 8bitdo SF30 or SN30 Pro. There is a little bit of lag but it's hardly noticeable, and much better than other Bluetooth controllers I've tried
  10. Which videos are you referring to? Almost all BigBox themes can use videos in one way or another. For example, this theme looks a lot like hyperspin:
  11. Okay, was hoping for a slightly faster solution but thanks for the quick answer!
  12. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I was just wondering if this feature was ever implemented? I couldn't seem to find it anywhere within BigBox's options
  13. Still waiting for the Commodore 64 version. 35 years and counting
  14. I just use the following in the "Running AutoHotKey Script" field, and press esc to exit: (and it seems to work fine) ; This section closes AppleWin when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} }
  15. Just my 2 cents to add to this, for what it's worth, although 2 cents won't buy anything in today's economy With so many (millions) of Android phones and other devices out there, this is an extremely large and relatively (as of yet) untapped market for an emulators/games frontend like LaunchBox. And I think at this point, the pc version is more than mature enough to be put on the back-burner for a short while as the Android version becomes developed. Certainly there are already frontends out there for Android, but nothing which really captures the hearts and imaginations of most gamers and nothing that made me want to say, "wow, what a great app!" while trying it out. Anyways, keep up with the good work as always and looking forward to seeing what future developments arise in the near future
  16. To follow up with what Suhrvivor just mentioned, Redream is your best choice as it emulates about 85% of the Dreamcast library almost flawlessly even on older, slower pc systems. For the other 15% I use the reicast/flycast cores in Retroarch. Nulldc and Demul are good too although a bit more of a hassle to set up
  17. Bally Astrocade does have a handful of missing boxes, while the Fairchild Channel F has a fair share of missing ones as they're both slightly obscure systems. A few more that could use default boxart are the Emerson Arcadia, Magnavox Odyssey 2 and RCA Studio II. Once again, really appreciate the effort and thanks a lot for sharing these!
  18. Great to hear that. Keep up the good work!
  19. Was also wondering if you plan to make images for more systems? The ones for which artwork is rather hard to come by would be ideal, for example Fairchild Channel F, Bally Astrocade, Emerson Arcadia, Magnavox Odyssey 2, among others
  20. Very useful! And even more so, now that these images can be used as a 'default' box. Thank you very much
  21. Looking great! With a theme creator, I think a good majority of the HS users will switch over to BigBox, if they haven't already
  22. Try "cdimono1 -cdrm" in the default command-line parameters for mame. And I'd use the standalone version of mame, rather than the retroarch core of mame. It's a whole lot easier
  23. Same here. Among all of the controllers I've owned (and I've owned quite a few) the SF30 Pro is the best, and you can assign the Nintendo Switch buttons on it to things like "pause", "exit" and more
  24. What i've been hoping (and requesting) for a very long time ? @Jason Carrthank you very much for adding this much-requested feature! Really appreciate it
